You really do have choices, even within outside circumstances, about how you choose to live your life!
With 'freedom' comes responsibility---that seems like a dichotomy, doesn't it? It is not, in this case...to live your life 'freely', meaning unencumbered by restrictions set down for you by others, implies taking the responsibility of choosing for yourself.
