Of all the possible Saints and Angels portrayed on the many cards within this deck, it is your Guardian Angel who has stepped forward with your message today. There are two aspects to your Guardian Angel's message for you: that you are fully supported and encouraged in pursuing a higher education for yourself at this time; and also to look to your Higher Self, including your Guides, and Angels for guidance and support in moving forward with this.
I personally relate strongly to this message and am in deep gratitude to my Guides and Guardian Angels for the validation I have received in the message today. Just yesterday, I registered for a 6 day Immersion seminar with Panache Desai this upcoming August on Vancouver Island...let me tell you that the timing was not optimal for me, as August is typically our family and friend time at the lake in BC, and we also have our 'kids' from Brazil coming home 'sometime' in August for our son's wedding in early September. Although I had a STRONG desire to attend this event with Panache, especially after having attended the full day seminar with him in Sedona last November (check out my blog about that on the 'Blog & Events' page on this site...just scroll down until you reach my blog about my Sedona experience with Panache), I initially rejected the idea of attending, believing that it just wouldn't work out. I am sharing this with you to illustrate that seldom do our opportunities for growth present at 'convenient' times! It has been my experience that we must demonstrate our commitment to ourselves and our higher education and desire to reach for our best selves by 'making it work'. Having said that, it certainly helps if we have loving, supportive people surrounding us, and I am in the deepest gratitude for having that in my life! The Universe longs to support you, also, but essentially it up to you to take that leap of faith!
The theme this week has been regarding 'life purpose'. What are your unique talents and abilities that you are meant to share? What form or higher education would assist you with developing your gifts and abilities? Your Guardian Angel is asking you to access the information available to you through your Higher Self and also the Earthly mentors and spiritual teachers and leaders that you are drawn to. As indicated previously, your spiritual practise need not take up a huge portion of your day, but by dedicating yourself and COMMITTING to making your spiritual practise a priority, you set the tone for every other aspect of your life! Archangel Michael's name means, 'He who is like God', and he is deemed to be the most powerful of the Archangels. His aura is experienced by many as royal purple in colour, and a crystal said to align with his energy is Sugilite.
Each of the Archangels have their own 'specialty'...I think of Archangel Michael as the supreme protector and it is he that I pray to and invoke for protection for myself and my family. I ask that Archangel Michael surround my home, my vehicle, myself and my loved ones with his beautiful purple protective energy. Remember that Archangels are of a very high vibration and they are not limited as we are here in the physical world...they have the ability to 'bi-locate', meaning that they can be in multiple places at once, and so you are not keeping an Archangel from working with another by calling him to work with you. Also remember that energy is constantly in motion, and so it is said that energy shields will remain intact for approximately 12 hours, once invoked. We are so fortunate, in North America, to have a multitude of options available to us in terms of 'making a living' or 'career choices'. It is through making the connection to the Divine that we receive guidance and support in how best to share our own unique gifts and talents with the world. Lightworkers, who are sensitive to the energies we are in, struggle in standing within their own power because they do not want to override the power of another in the influx of cooperative energy that we are experiencing. It is to be expected when there is any sort of change that there will be periods of adjustment and these often bring with them moments of confusion, angst and sometimes turmoil. The angel, Athena, has stepped forward for you today to clarify for you that being self-empowered does not imply dis-empowering another. For you to stand in your power does not take away the power of another...to stand in your power within the energy of cooperation means to share of your own unique strengths, while honoring the unique strengths and contributions of others... understanding that one need not undermine another. We are NOT to completely deny the masculine energies within us, but instead to seek a beautiful, healthy balance between the masculine and the feminine, as both are necessary in navigating our way through this Earthly experience. Metatron is often called upon to work with children, especially those who have learning disorders and Indigo children; and his other major theme or gift is to assist us in matters of organization and record-keeping, as he served as a scribe and prophet during his time here on Earth. Metatron is also strongly associated with 'Sacred Geometry' and employs 'Metatron's Cube', a luminous cube composed of Sacred Geometry, which Metatron is often depicted with. Today is our last day here in the beautiful coastal city of Vila Velha, Brazil! We fly out this afternoon for Rio de Janeiro, then to Houston, then arrive in Calgary tomorrow. Our wonderful time here with our children, our daughter-in-law and our daughter's boyfriend, as well as other family and friends that we have here in Brazil, has passed far too quickly, but we are SO grateful for this time together! The picture of your card today was taken on a conga of the Brazilian flag, which has the words, 'Ordem E Progresso', which translates to 'Order and Progress'. With two of our three children currently living in Brazil, we have strong ties to this country now...who knows what the Universe has in store for us? I CERTAINLY could not have predicted this aspect of my life, while raising our children on a farm in a small community...I thought that their moving to Calgary to go to University was too far away at that time! Who knew?

Denise's words in her message above are so true... While there are certain aspects of our lives that we can control, there are many more that we can't. In these aspects, FAITH is the answer...faith that the Universe dreams bigger dreams for us than we can envision for ourselves, at times. When we accept our current situation, and understand that it is all part of 'the bigger picture', we relax into 'what is'. I could reside in the energy of bemoaning the fact that two of my children are currently living in Brazil, rather than in close proximity to me, as I believed would be the case; or I can accept what is, and even EMBRACE the circumstances for the blessings within them. Due to my son, Jayden & daughter, Chelsea living in Brazil, my husband and I have met some wonderful people, and have traveled and seen places we would not have otherwise experienced! It is very self-empowering to look to the blessings within 'what is'... It is from this self-empowered place that we CAN make choices about how we will experience 'what is'; and thereby make changes or embrace the situation as it is at that moment in time. To accept what is does not at all imply accepting defeat...rather, it means to acknowledge your power within the situation or circumstance; to acknowledge that the Universe means to support you; that you have it within you to not only 'deal with it' but understand that it is often in the interest of your Soul's greater good, if you look for the higher meaning.
