Embracing the Future & Revealing Radiance

I am back from our trip to Sedona with our daughter, prior to her return to Canada this evening. Your cards today are drawn from the 'Gateway Oracle Cards', authored by Denise Linn.  I chose this deck because Denise will be one of the presenters/facilitators at the spiritual conference I am thrilled to be attending this Thursday to Monday...the 'Celebrate Your Life' conference in Sedona!  The cards that jumped out of the deck together are the 'Embracing the Future' card, and the 'Revealing Radiance' card...just love that these cards came up as I head off on my adventure!  Denise's messages for these are:

My message for you today is this:
I have alluded previously to my personal belief that we create our own experiences on an unconscious level, and when we strive to be CONSCIOUS we can co-create with the Universe the experiences we wish to draw into our lives...simply put, focus on the positive and that is what you will draw more of into your life.  You are also being reminded today that it is KEY to strive to be content and happy in the moment, and not just when some distant desired outcome manifests...if you will not feel happy or content 'until', then you will spend your precious time waiting to feel happy or content.  You've no doubt come across the saying that reminds us that, 'It's the journey, not the destination that requires our attention.'  This is not to say that there is anything wrong with having dreams, aspirations and goals in our lives!  The point is to not place our feeling GOOD and enjoying our life experience based solely on the attainment of those goals and dreams...smell the roses along the way, while relishing in the knowing that a beautiful garden is in your future!  For example...I will fully enjoy and embrace the experiences of the Sedona conference and will immerse myself in it wholeheartedly, knowing that my future will change in some way due to all that I will experience there, but not residing in the HOW of that change yet.
Regarding the 'Revealing Radiance' card, I feel that this card is referring to the approaching New Moon energy on Nov. 4th, and to the plethora of intense cosmic energy that we have been in of late...all motivating us to be our true selves and to shine our Light as only we can!  I have spoken before about how we can utilize Full Moon energy for releasement and that New Moon energy assists us with manifestation. This upcoming New Moon with a solar eclipse in Scorpio is not only ASSISTING, but is INSISTING that we OWN and take responsibility for the Divine spark that resides in each one of us, and that we consciously express that Divine spark as we are meant to.  'Step into the power within you to be all that you are meant to be', is a phrase that I have printed on my business cards as the focus of what I wish to assist others with.  I believe that THAT is what our LIFE PURPOSE truly is...to utilize our unique gifts and talents in luminating the world with our Divine spark. Know that your future is bright and shimmering as you confidently share your Light, thereby making your unique contribution to 'lighting up' the world!  Sometimes it takes courage to reveal ourselves in this way, but your Soul will sing when you do, and the Universe will thank you!

Integrity

My message for you today is this:
When I lay my hand upon this golden fractal art card, the messages that came forward for you today have to do with what some would refer to as our 'conscience' and what I think of as our connection to the Divine and our Higher Self.
We all have an inner moral compass...that 'knowing' of the difference between 'right' and 'wrong'...whether we choose to follow in the direction the compass is indicating or not. Bring to mind those instances in your past where you have gone against what you KNEW to be right, and how you felt afterwards, regardless of the outcome.  Recall how going against your inner 'knowing' made you feel...isn't it as though you have betrayed yourself on some level?  Now, bring to mind some instances from your past where you moved in the direction that your inner compass was guiding you to, even if it meant that others were challenging your choice in direction.  Recall how following your inner guidance system made you feel, even if the path was more difficult to navigate in some ways...isn't it as though you have honoured yourself and didn't you experience a feeling of elation on some level?  Asking you to revisit some of these choices you have made in the past is NOT so that you will drop into self-judgment!  The intention here, is to illustrate for you that your inner guidance system...your conscience...your integrity...is an integral part of you and is a gift you have been given to help you navigate through life in the direction that will best serve your Soul.  Know that those times when we feel poorly because we have not behaved in a way that aligns with our integrity are merely indicators that we need to get 'back on track'.  It is not that we are a 'bad person', but rather we are 'misguided', in not being of integrity with ourselves, and we need to make the adjustments necessary to steer us in the 'right' direction.  It is often in those times that we are 'off track' temporarily that we learn the greatest lessons in progressing our Soul.  
We are in some very strong cosmic energy currently that is nudging...even pushing...us to stand firmly in our integrity. That is a GOOD thing, even if not always completely comfortable!   Sometimes the 'right' thing is not the 'easiest' thing!  Today's message is a very positive one for you...encouraging you to embrace and acknowledge that part of you that will best serve you...to understand that moving forward in integrity feels 'good', even if it requires effort.  The Universe is always supporting you, if you are aware and conscious in making choices, and you employ that inner compass to steer your way.

Make a Wish

This is the early posting for your daily card reading for Monday, October 28th/13.  My husband and I will be in Sedona with our daughter, Chelsea, on Monday and Tuesday, so I am posting today for tomorrow!  Your card today is drawn from the 'Magical Mermaids & Dolphins' deck, authored by Doreen Virtue, in honour of my friend, Patti, who told me that she had seen her dolphins jumping in the waves at her vacation home in Florida today! That's my daughter, Chelsea holding your card for today...the 'Make a Wish' card...by our hibiscus shrub that is blooming so beautifully right now here in Arizona!

My message for you today is this:

I am feeling admittedly sentimental as our time with our daughter here in Arizona is drawing to a close...she leaves for Canada this coming Wednesday evening, and time has passed all too quickly.  I am striving to be in the moment...this magical moment of our time together...rather than spending the time we DO have now, lamenting her departure in a few days!  What makes our time here together so special is that she plans to return to Brazil very soon to live for an indeterminate period of time.  My reason for sharing this with you is to relate that we can choose how we will view our present circumstances and our doing so can color the experiences that we will then draw into our life experience in the future...with the power of thought and the power of intention.  While I treasure the time being spent with my daughter now, my wish is for many more such interludes with her in the future.  I used to wish that my daughter (and all 3 of my children, in fact) would live in close proximity to me...but with 2 of the 3 residing in Brazil, for the time being at least, my wish has morphed into sharing time together whenever we can,and strengthening the bond we have always shared as family (I am in gratitude for Skype and Magic Jack phones and FaceTime, etc!!)

What is your wish?  Know that the Universe is supporting you in manifesting your desires. Your  part is to be clear about what you want, and when affirming it, to do so in the present tense, as though your wish had already been granted.  If you state it as though it is in the future, it will always remain in the future.  Allow yourself to reside in the feelings that accompany the fulfillment of your wish and to fully embrace the experience as though it were already happening to you right NOW.  Doing so assists the Universe in bringing the experience you desire to you more efficiently.  Sometimes it is necessary to take guided action for our wish to be granted...if this is the case for you, having made your wish (in the present tense), pay attention to strong messages and repetitive guidance being sent your way to support you in co-creating your desired outcome.  Take the necessary action, and give thanks for having had your wish fulfilled, which then further invites such blessings into your future experiences!  You have demonstrated to the Universe your desire and ability to make a wish and then to reap what you have sown!  Choose to consciously create your life!

I'm beginning to feel like a broken record! (For those of you who are old enough to remember that colloqualism)!  Your card today is reiterating what has been brought forth for you all week...you ARE making the connection, and you need to be open and aware in order to receive and take note of the signs and messages that are being given to you from the Universe/Divine.
As stated many times, we are currently in the 'amped up' energy of Mercury retrograde, as well as a wealth of solar flares recently, so you are being supported cosmically in making changes and looking to 'get real' with yourself and others.  Do so from a place of compassion, and you will move forward with ease and grace.  As Jaden has said, ASK for signs that you are indeed moving in the right direction.  I love that Jaden suggests that you JOURNAL the signs and messages that you are being given!  It is so easy in the course of our busy days to take note of what we believe to be a sign and then to allow it to slip away as we carry on in the mundane but necessary aspects of our lives.  Take a few moments to write down your experience...I call this 'anchoring in' the information...so that you can 'be present' with the sign or message when you have some time to just 'be' with it!  This also enables you to 'review' the means in which the Universe/Divine communicates with you...often, there is a pattern that makes itself evident.  "Sign, sign, everywhere a sign..."

I have shared previously my belief that the energetic 'shift' that is so prevalently referred to in metaphysical circles, is a POSITIVE move forward on our Souls' journey...you will hear me say that my experience has been that 'the veil is lifting' for so many, and that the energy of 2013 is an accelerated Soul growth period for many of us!  That is to say that the Universal energy is such that our guides, guardian angels, and the angelic realm are ever more accessible to us as we reach out to make a connection with them on a conscious level...meaning with INTENTION.  This card affirms that for you today.  You ARE having experiences in making the connection, and when you trust, allow and believe, the connection is strengthened and promoted.  Just as in ANY relationship, you must trust, allow and believe in the potential and possibilities of that union in order for it to move forward and grow...your relationship with the Divine is no different.  Remember that you are not meant be a 'perfect little Soul' in order to be worthy of convening with Divine energy...just being in this physical existence implies that we are flawed and HUMAN with the intention of experiencing Life and  the lessons that will progress our Soul forward. The card that dropped out of the deck for you today is speaking to the current energy and not just today's energy...2013 has indeed been a time of 'growth spurts' for many of us spiritually, and that has meant periods of elation coupled with serenity; confidence coupled with self-doubt; harmony coupled with chaos...essentially a 'mixed bag' of emotions and experiences during this accelerated time of spiritual growth!  
Now, here we are in a 3 week period of the final Mercury retrograde of 2013, and our issues in regards to communicating openly about our spirituality and our true beliefs, as well as honouring our gifts and abilities and actively 'stepping into' them, are presenting themselves to further our spiritual growth. The Universe is 'nudging' you to do so! Kuan Yin ~ Compassion

My message for you today is this:
This powerful goddess is a 'bodhisattva', which implies that she is eligible for Buddhahood, yet she has committed to remain as a goddess/Ascended Master in service to Souls on Earth.  Kuan Yin (pronounced 'Kwawn Yin') assists us in all matters of compassion and mercy, in relation to ourselves and others.  Her gentle energy exemplifies that to be gentle does not imply weakness, as she vehemently protects women and children, encourages those with musical abilities, and accelerates the gift of psychic clairvoyance (clear 'seeing') for those with such aptitudes.
We have just moved into Mercury retrograde, beginning Oct. 21st, and will continue in this cosmic energy over the next 3 weeks.  According to United Kingdom astrologist, Sarah Varcas, (www.astro-awakenings.co.uk) the energy of this final Mercury retrograde of 2013 carries the energy of bringing to the surface what needs to be revealed, and, as Sarah states, "...whatever is revealed now is better out in the open than hidden in the shadows." Understand that to seek to see another's perspective and to understand their motivation in their communication with you does not mean that you must take on their perspective...at times, another's perspective can serve to help us determine and CLARIFY what our OWN perspective truly is. Your card today is drawn from the 'Gateway Oracle Cards' deck, authored by Denise Linn.  I purchased this deck at the 'Divine Wisdom' conference that I attended here in Phoenix in February, 2013, where Denise was one of the presenters.  I have to be honest in saying that I hadn't heard much about Denise Linn prior to attending that conference.  I am thrilled that she will be one of the major facilitators/presenters at the conference I am attending in Sedona at the end of this month, beginning of November!  I found her to be a beautiful spirit, with a wealth of wisdom to share, and as her promo says, she has been called 'America's best kept secret'...I would have to agree!  She has a Facebook page, and a website, where you can learn more about her and her teachings...check it out!

As I closed my eyes and lay my hand upon this beautiful fractal art card, that is intoned with some of my favorite colors, it came to me that the message from this card SPECIFIC to today is that the assistance that is coming to you at this time is in the area of COMMUNICATION.  What have you been struggling to express that you need assistance in bringing forward in your life at this time?  Whatever it is, the time is now!  The Universe and angelic realm are setting the scene for you so that you will have the perfect opportunity to express yourself in the way that you desire. Pay attention!  Have the courage and self-confidence to convey your truth, knowing that you are completely supported in doing so.
Perhaps there is a situation at your workplace where you have the desire to share some ideas you have, but you have held yourself back from doing so.  Perhaps there is a family member or loved one that you have been wanting to share some of your feelings with but you have been reticent about doing so.  Perhaps you have been thinking about an old friend that you regret losing contact with over recent years, and that you would like to reconnect with.  Perhaps you have a musical talent that you have kept hidden rather than sharing it with others. I JUST HAD TO SHARE THIS!!!
Shortly after posting this reading this morning, I was checking my e-mail, and a new e-mail came in from the 'Little Shop of Healers' in Olds, Alberta, inviting me to participate as a vendor at an event that they have created called, 'Your Wellness Expo' on November 30.
Vendors are also offered the opportunity to speak/present at this event, and having just been given the message of today's reading, well, I signed right up!!!  Let me just say, that in committing to speaking at this event, I am completely taking a leap of faith and stepping outside my comfort zone, but I understand completely that this opportunity has been presented to me for a reason.   COINCIDENCE??? Maeve is a Celtic Goddess whose name is pronounced 'Mayv'.  Maeve assists us in dealing with the cycles of life and she tells us that all of life is cyclical.  She advises us that these cycles serve a purpose and if we 'relax into them', our lives move more smoothly.
Recall the lyrics to the chorus of the folksong by the group, the Byrds:

If we acknowledge that we are bound to experience cycles within our lives~that energy is continuously in motion and nothing remains stagnant~then we can more consciously embrace the joyful moments and also navigate our way through the painful, knowing that 'this too, shall pass'.  Call upon the Goddess, Maeve, to assist you with this...
We are currently, in the northern hemisphere, experiencing the cycle of autumn...this Friday we will be in full moon energy, as the moon cycles through it's phases...  The cycles of the Universe, absolutely impact and influence us...particularly if we tend to be very sensitive to energy...but if we are aware and conscious, we can utilize these fluctuations in energy to enhance our life experience, rather than to feel that we are 'at the mercy of' these cycles. The cycles of life ARE going to happen, how we will move through them is our choice...will you choose 'ease and grace', or will you choose 'resistance'?  Remember that 'what you resist, persists'.  I have never been one who felt angst at the thought of turning 30 or 40 or 50 years old...they are honestly just numbers to me...but I DID struggle with feeling 'older' when my husband and I decided in our 30's that we would not have any more babies...I saw that 'productive' and 'youthful' cycle of my life had ended and I mourned, for a time, that part of my life being over. Bless the Universe for bringing some experiences into my life that changed my perspective completely and had me celebrating moving into the next great phase or 'cycle' of my life!  It's all about perspective!  
Maeve will also support you as you move through the feminine cycles of life and all that that implies...she will even assist our male partners who experience our moving through these feminine cycles, if they call upon her to do so!

Archangel Uriel

My message for you today is this:
Archangel Uriel is the Archangel who assists us with healing issues of resentment and unforgiveness in our lives.  His name means, 'God is Light', and he shines Light and Love upon the shadow aspects of our experiences.  This does not mean that we deny or bury the hurt or feelings of injustice that we experience...rather that we acknowledge them and then choose to retain the lessons within the incident that will serve our Soul and consciously choose not to reside in the negative energy of the experience.  Trust me...I completely understand how difficult it can be to move from hurt to healing sometimes...what I have come to learn and understand is that we do so for our own GREATER GOOD, and as has been said so often, we forgive not to absolve the perpetrator of responsibility for their misdeed, but to take responsibility for our own life and how we will live it.  If you hold on continuously to the feelings of resentment and unforgiveness, you continue to give your power over to what has caused you pain.  Acknowledge your hurt, even allow yourself to 'wallow in it' for a brief time, if necessary; seek to understand the lessons within the experience; and then CHOOSE to forgive and to release any resentment energy that you may be carrying.  Understand that you may have to repeat this multiple times!  Anger, hurt, unforgiveness and resentment can come bubbling to the surface over painful life experiences (especially particularly powerful ones) when you least expect it, and when you felt you'd already 'dealt with it completely'.  Know that as you continue to consciously release and let go of the heavy emotions of resentment and unforgiveness it becomes easier to do so.  Remember...you are doing this for YOURSELF...to lighten your load and to release the burden that carrying around unforgiveness can be...  As Dr. Wayne Dyer has said, "Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change."  This really just speaks to taking responsibility for what you will focus upon in your life experience.  Will you allow an 'unfair' or painful experience to color all aspects of your day or even your life, or will you choose to release it (which does NOT mean to ACCEPT it) and choose to move forward?  Just think of the space you create for something beautiful to enter your life when you let go of a shadow aspect that had been taking up that space!  Archangel Uriel has stepped forward for you today to assist you with doing just that!  Many experience Archangel Uriel's aura as pale yellow in color and a crystal said to align well with his energy is amber.  You do not have to 'see' his aura to experience Archangel Uriel...simply call upon him and he is there for you...and so it is!  Remember that this powerful Archangel has the ability to bi-locate (to be with multiple Souls simultaneously) and that by asking him to be with you, you are not keeping him from assisting another!

Reciprocity

This Thanksgiving Day, I have a great deal to be thankful for...I want to thank you with all my heart for taking the time to visit my site...I am in gratitude!  Many, many blessings to you!
Today's reading is drawn from a deck that I have here at our home in Arizona, and I am happy to revisit it...it is the 'Universal Laws of Conscious Creation' deck, authored by 3 women who describe themselves as 'soul sisters'...Lara Solara, Dana Da Ponte, and Marlene Chapman.  Your card today is the 'Universal Law of Reciprocity' and the authors' message for you is this:
"The Law of Reciprocity states the Universe is in a constant state of giving and receiving. Your thoughts, feelings and actions send an energy vibration out into the Universe.  The Universe returns to you what you send out, and does this through the inspirations, synchronicities, people and circumstances that show up in your life.  Give what you want to receive...You open yourself to receive by letting go of what you don't want and making room in your life for what it is you do want.  The Law of Reciprocity also requires you to feel worthy of what you want."

My message for you today is this:
I can't recall where I purchased this deck, but as I said previously, I am very happy to reconnect with it!  This deck speaks to the Universal Laws that our lives are governed by energetically.  A Universal Law that came to the forefront in the past decade is the the 'Law of Attraction'...I have a lot to say about how that Law has been depicted and explained by some, but that is for another time (perhaps an entry on my 'Linda...Likewise...' blog page on this site)!  These cards also incorporate the energy of 'fractals', which I have talked about previously...the artwork on each card is fractal artwork. 
The Universal Law that is being called to your attention today is the Law of Reciprocity. We are all aware of the Golden Rule: 'Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.' This is speaking to an aspect of the Law of Reciprocity.  The basic tenet of this Law is that as you give, so shall you receive.  I know...we can all bring to mind various incidents in our lives where we feel that we gave the best of ourselves and that is NOT what we received back!  Keep in mind that there are multiple Universal Laws at play in our lives simultaneously, affecting our life path.  The message for you today is that, you can shift things up in your life by CONSCIOUSLY employing the Law of Reciprocity and CHOOSING to focus your thoughts, feelings and actions on what you desire to draw into your life by giving what you want to receive.  If you want more love, then be more loving; if you wish that someone in your life would be more patient with you, then strive to be patient yourself; if you want to be respected then behave respectfully and give respect; if you wish to pull abundance into your life, then be generous...you get the idea.  I love that the authors point out the need for you to 'feel worthy of what you want'...this is a key aspect of actively receiving!  Many times we block what we want to manifest in our lives because on some level we don't feel that we deserve it.  No going into self-judgment here!  You can shift and change what you become consciously aware of, so if you are aware of an area in your life that you may be blocking the flow of the Law of Reciprocity, then acknowledge that, congratulate yourself for having reached that level of awareness and consciously shift things up by choosing thoughts, feelings and actions that better serve you. Becoming conscious of the Universal Laws that impact our lives is meant to empower us, and to assist us in employing these Laws to consciously create the life that we truly desire.  What aspect of your life comes to mind today where you could employ the Law of Reciprocity to draw into your life more of what you desire?  The Law of Reciprocity is being brought to your attention today to assist you with that...

I'm back from my motorcycle trip through California! My Thanksgiving wish for you!

 

Ready to roll in the morning.......                                    Napa Valley riding....

I arrived home last evening from my motorcycle trip through California with my husband and our dear friends.  We had a FABULOUS TIME!  

Highlights included a hot air balloon ride in Temecula; touring the SS Midway, a retired aircraft carrier in San Diego; game one of the Oakland A's baseball play-offs (they are no longer in the play-offs!); riding the ferris wheel on the famous Santa Monica pier, where numerous Hollywood movies have been filmed; a wine tour and tasting at Sterling Wineries in Napa Valley, complete with gondola ride; a Segway tour through Sonoma, including wine tasting at the historic and beautiful first winery in California, and also an award winning cheese making facility; and so many amazing biking roads ocean-side, through Napa Valley and some beautiful mountain passes!  Very grateful for this wonderful experience and for the people that I shared it with!  My Thanksgiving wish for you is that you make the time to give yourself experiences that bring you joy!
