Yesterday, I began reading a metaphysical book suggested to me by a good friend...it is on a topic which I am already 'certified' in. I am reading it because I am 'drawn' to do so, and also because I understand that different teachers bring their own unique experiences and perspectives to their teaching that can 'shed a new light' on a topic for me... I am LOVING the book!
The message for you today is to pay attention to what crosses your path in terms of your Spiritual learning...I've said it before...seldom do the courses and teachings come into your life at a 'convenient' time! We need to indicate our commitment to our spiritual growth by MAKING the time or TAKING the time, just as you make the time every day to brush your teeth! So, buy that book that just 'falls off the bookshelf' when you are in the store; sign up for that course that you keep thinking about; or just take the time to sit in meditation...invest the time in your Spiritual self!

Wow! Two cards from the deck, 'Archangel Oracle Cards', authored by Doreen Virtue, literally JUMPED out of the deck and fell to the floor for you today, so it's a 2 card reading!

SOOO interesting that this card came up for you today, because I was talking on the phone to a friend in Arizona last night and we were discussing some of the 'metaphysical musings' recently of a few spiritual leaders, Doreen Virtue and John Edward being among them. Our conversation included the reaffirming by many leaders recently that, while the power of thought is undeniable, it must be followed by ACTION! We discussed how, 'The Secret' (both the book and the movie), was great to bring to consciousness the 'Law of Attraction', which IS a powerful Universal Law, but that what the book and movie failed to do was to also emphasize that taking guided ACTION is an important component of the Law of Attraction!!! We are in the energy of 2013, which is propelling many Lightworkers to actively engage in their missions and to really 'step into the power within them to be all that they are meant to be' (as it says on the back of my business card!) In speaking with my friend last night, this came to me, we both felt the power of it, and it is the key to your message from Archangel Uriel today...

The beautiful purpley-blue color of the angel wings in this picture indicates that Archangel Michael's energy is with you, guiding and protecting you, as you move through the experiences of your day today. All you need to do is to be open to receiving that guidance and protection (remember the 'free will' aspect of our physical selves and the law that the angels and archangels are guided by that, does not allow them to intervene in our lives without our permission). Whatever the situation that you would like assistance with today, visualize the outcome that you desire...take a few moments and truly 'see' the outcome that you desire, knowing that your angels and Archangel Michael are assisting you...then take the guided action given to you and trust that 'all is well'! The cards this week have led to this (I just LOVE how that works)! The strong message for you today...and this is ABSOLUTELY a message of self-empowerment...is that whatever you say 'YES' to today will manifest very quickly for you. Consciously CHOOSE what you will focus on today, regardless of the surrounding circumstances. Today could be a powerful lesson for you in how your thoughts can influence your reality. Notice the words,
"take action accordingly", on the card. For today, your action plan is to choose what it is that you will say 'yes' to, observe in the near future how the Universe supports you in that 'yes', and THEN take the guided action steps presented to you. Saying 'yes' alerts the Universe to your INTENTIONS, and so now the Universe can go to work to support you in your intentions, but then it is up to you to take the action steps that are aligned for you and presented for you.

So, yesterday you were guided to cut etheric cords, to clear yourself energetically so that you are not carrying anyone else's 'stuff' around with you and now you are being guided to continue with that clearing in yet another way. You are no doubt aware of the 7 major chakra centers in your body...your root, sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, 3rd eye and crown chakras. Another chakra center that is less commonly talked about, but is key in 'hearing' messages from your angels and guides, are the 'ear chakras'...they are located just above both your eyebrows at a 30 degree angle. So, vertically, they rest between your 3rd eye and your crown chakra. Your ear chakras become 'clogged' or 'imbalanced' when harsh words are directed at you, and it is important to clear and balance them if you are to clearly receive messages through 'clairaudience', or 'clear-hearing'. When I first drew this card for you there was just an 'ahhhh' feeling...beautiful!
Then, when I laid my hand on the card, and closed my eyes to receive the messages for you today, I first experienced what I can only describe as a 'mini-healing' from Archangel Michael! Wow! He instantly cut cords for me and I absolutely felt the 'Gentle Release' as he did! (I say 'Thanks', I say 'Amen'!) Those of us who are highly sensitive to energy understand the NECESSITY in cutting etheric energy cords to take care of ourselves energetically---no judgment here about someone else's energy being 'good' or 'bad' when we cut cords with them---we have our OWN energy field and they have theirs, and because I have my own 'stuff', I don't need to be carrying around someone else's 'stuff' too! That serves no one. Interesting that this card comes up for you after being in the energy of celebrating Mother's Day yesterday... Those who have been in the role of 'Mother' understand COMPLETELY that there are times that you must stand in your convictions and beliefs, and that it IS possible to do so from a loving and nurturing place! My message for you is this:
Being honest with yourself does not imply being HARSH with yourself...the energy of this card is very uplifting and positive. Notice in the picture on the card that she is looking UP, not DOWN...she is not 'looking down on herself', as we would say if we were in a place of self-criticism...she is literally looking up into the Light! Dragonfly is there for her as she seeks out her truth for herself. According to Ted Andrews in his book, "Animal-Speak...Pocket Guide", 'Dragonfly' represents 'time to shine'. He tells us that the message for us when Dragonfly appears is this:
"Trust in the power of your light and your perceptions to succeed. Efforts are maturing. Spiritual path is ahead."
