Be Honest With Yourself

I am back home in sunny Alberta, and Spring has sprung!  Yay!  The photo of your card for today was taken in front of my house, where the hyacinth are in bloom...beautiful!

I chose the 'Healing With the Fairies' deck, authored by Doreen Virtue, for your card reading today because the fairy energy is sooo strong right now!  The card that I drew for you is, 
'Be Honest With Yourself', and the text for this card reads:
"This card indicates that you're hiding your true feelings and aren't being forthright about an important topic.  The fairies urge you to admit your true feelings to yourself."

My message for you is this:
Being honest with yourself does not imply being HARSH with yourself...the energy of this card is very uplifting and positive.  Notice in the picture on the card that she is looking UP, not DOWN...she is not 'looking down on herself', as we would say if we were in a place of self-criticism...she is literally looking up into the Light!   Dragonfly is there for her as she seeks out her truth for herself.  According to Ted Andrews in his book, "Animal-Speak...Pocket Guide", 'Dragonfly' represents 'time to shine'.  He tells us that the message for us when Dragonfly appears is this:
"Trust in the power of your light and your perceptions to succeed. Efforts are maturing.  Spiritual path is ahead."
So...be honest with yourself from a kind and loving place...access the supportive fairy energy that is particularly accessible to us right now to support you in your truth seeking.  Sit in nature and ask the fairies to assist you in being completely honest with yourself in a loving and playful way...  Fairy energy is PLAYFUL, uplifting energy!    Don't be shy!  Ask yourself this question, and be honest with yourself...    How are you meant to shine?
