Happy New Year! ~ Abundance

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!  What other deck could I possibly choose for your first card reading of 2015---which is an '8' year, representing strength; karma; balance; abundance; and responsibility---than the 'Manifesting Wealth & Wisdom' deck, authored by my friend, Jaden Sterling?  (Check out Jaden's Facebook page:  'Jaden Sterling's Wealth & Wisdom'; and his radio show, 'Soul to Profit Radio' on Blog Talk Radio.)  The image on the back of Jaden's deck is an '8', stylized with dragons---'8' turned sideways being the symbol for infinity. Then...which card floats out of the deck for you today?  The 'Abundance card!  Perfect!
Jaden's message for the card is this:

My message for you today is this:
Many are pronouncing 2015 as the 'call to action' year---the year when you will begin to reap what you have sown.  The Universe is abundant and we have been coming to this realization---both as individuals and also societally---as we shift away from the dominant 'competitive' energies of the past; toward the 'cooperative' energies of the future.
The biggest misconception at this time, I believe, is in aligning the advisement to 'surrender' rather than to attempt to 'direct' how your desires will play out; with being 'responsible' and 
'taking action' in consciously designing your life experiences.  This balance of 'surrender' and 'guided action' is what you will be investigating and discovering for yourself in the coming year.  It is an exciting new step as you seek to live a conscious life that is a 'soul-filled' one!  I have spoken often here about the powerful manifestation energy of gratitude. That is one of the keys to attaining the balance you seek.  When you reside in gratitude, the Universe responds to that, and presents you with opportunities to support your authentic Soul path---often in ways that you may not even have imagined or yourself!  That is where the 'surrender' comes in...and then when the Universe presents these circumstances and opportunities for you, have enough self-love and self-worth to take the action necessary to bring them to fruition.
When you express your best self out into the world, well...that is the most self-less and loving act there is!  YOUR abundant life promotes an abundant life for ALL!
