Recall that your message for yesterday was about 'Commitment'. Today's message follows in that same vein. Manifestation is actually the result of having made a commitment...think of 'commitment' as being the 'follow-through' aspect of the manifestation process that Doreen describes in the text above. Keep in mind the powerful component of BELIEVING---this is what often carries you forward, even when it would APPEAR as though what you desire is far from reach and even unattainable. Have faith! Believe! And, of course, take the guided action steps. You have the ability to make many choices in your life... What do you choose today? What do you desire? "You are being asked to make some sort of commitment. It is both a promise and a responsibility. This could be in connection with a relationship...the Commitment card can also point to other types of commitment such as; starting a new business, planning a vacation with friends, signing up for classes, or taking on any type of long-term project.
This commitment is a binding one, and you will not be able to get out of it easily should you change your mind later. This is signified by the bow-like symbol in the fractal image on the card. Whatever the case may be, this commitment does hold soul lessons and was planned before you came here. This does mean that it is either good or bad, but simply means that this is a fated event. You, and the others involved in the situation, are fulfilling your soul agreements with each other. This card can also be calling you to make a serious commitment to yourself whether it is to lose weight, quit smoking, start a yoga class, or go for some healing sessions...

My message for you today is this:
The flower pot in which your card was placed for the photo today, was lush and FULL of blooms last week, and then we had that few days of INTENSE wind, which literally blew blooming branches right off the plant, leaving it not so lush anymore! Commitment means to continue to strive toward blooming, even when the winds blow. If you look at the plant in the photo, you will see the new buds that are already striving to fill the space left open by the destructive winds. This plant is NOT going to be deterred in expressing its beauty! No wind is going to stop it from presenting its best self to the world! As Cheryl Lee says in her message above, COMMITMENT is 'both a promise and a responsibility'. The 'promise' part, carries the energy of LOVE, both for yourself and others. The 'responsibility' part carries the energy of tenacity and perseverance and determination---knowing that some days the sun will shine warmly down upon you and some days the winds may blow, and that in both instances, you carry on with your commitment.
Commitment does NOT feel burdensome, when it comes from a Soul-filled place...it can feel exciting and rejuvenating and joyful! Commitment DOES require effort, however. So, be prepared to take action and to adjust your actions on those 'windy days'. Know that the Universe truly wants to support you, particularly regarding Soul based commitments. Call upon your Guides and Angels to guide you, support you and to lovingly assist you in honouring your commitment. While we all have a multitude of various levels of commitments that we make in our lives, I know that a specific upcoming commitment came to mind for me when I drew this card. What specific commitment comes to mind for you today? Do not over think this...trust in the first thought that comes to your mind. THAT is the commitment that the Universe is drawing to your attention today. My message for you today is this:
We are now in the cosmic energy of Mercury Retrograde, as Mercury went retrograde today and will remain there for a 3 week period. I have often referred to Elizabeth Peru, of 'DeltaWaves', whom I rely on as an excellent resource about cosmic energies and their effect upon us. While some have given the energy of Mercury Retrograde negative connotations, Elizabeth expresses the positive aspects of this energy (which I like and appreciate)! I want to share what she had to say in a recent posting on her Facebook page (just search 'Elizabeth Peru, Delta Waves, on Facebook to access her page, and if you 'Like' her page, you will receive her informative postings) about this particular Mercury Retrograde period...

The Ascended Master, Lady Nada, whose name refers to the 'sound of silence, where peace is found', works with Saint-Germain and Archangel Michael. Her skill is in assisting us to bring about a balance between male and female energy. We are NOT referring to male and female energy in regards to gender, but rather the masculine and feminine energetic attributes that reside in both genders. Mary Magdalene is a Goddess who has suffered severe condemnation and judgment, both during her time here on Earth, and in the Gospels, thereafter, at times. Her relationship with Jesus was a close one--she was one of the first that he appeared to upon his resurrection--yet, there have been innuendos about other aspects of her persona that have not painted her in a good light. Mary Magdalene has presented for you today, because she profoundly understands the need for self-love and self-acceptance and also the DEEP need for forgiveness as a means to healing your OWN Soul, rather than those who may have hurt you. She admonishes you that, if you have experienced or are experiencing, judgment or condemnation from another, DO NOT be drawn into that energy and then engage in judgment and condemnation in return! To do so only pulls your energy down to that lower level, as Mary Magdalene describes it. You NEED NOT embrace those that judge you into your inner circle, but do not waste your time or energy engaging in retaliation, either. What are the chances that you are actually going to change that person's opinion of you, and in the biggest scheme of things, how much does that person's opinion really matter? It's energy can feel somewhat chaotic at times, but can be completely about positive movement forward, if you choose to approach it as such. My message for you today is this:
HOLY MOLEY! Did any of you feel the INTENSE energy over the past weekend??? WOW!
No surprise that the 'power house' Archangels, Michael (the supreme protector) and Raphael (the angel of healing) have made themselves available to us at this time! I had found myself feeling VERY lethargic and very, very sad, most especially on Saturday. I understood that this was NOT related to my current life circumstances, and I was actually very critical of myself for feeling this way. There are so many events coming up in June that I have been excited about, and that I KNOW will be soul-filled experiences, yet I could not seem to 'talk myself out of' feeling sad and tired and uninspired. Then, as the Universe will do for us, if we pay attention, I was given the support I desperately needed. It began yesterday, with a small white feather floating gracefully down in front of me, 'out of thin air', as I was in our front yard, planting my bedding out plants. I took a moment to give thanks, even in my state of 'sadness', as I knew it to be a sign of support. Later, I was scanning some Facebook postings, when I came across one by Elizabeth Peru, of Delta Waves, a spiritual mentor from Australia whom I follow, and whom I have spoken of before. Her posting began with:
"Dear Empaths, you may be feeling a big wave of sadness and pain erupt this weekend. So many people worldwide are releasing their old hurts and shames. Empaths (those whose psychic talent is feeling) pick up on this and feel their own bodies go through the same gut wrenching shifts. Ask yourself if what you are feeling belongs to you or not? Honour, listen to, and act on the voice of truth within you..."
I was identified as an empath, early in my spiritual learning, although I had no knowing at that time what that meant. As I learned what it meant to be an empath, it explained so much of what I had experienced in my life, and continue to experience. I share Elizabeth's posting with you now, because she is wonderful at explaining the cosmic energies that we are influenced by here on Earth. Just having someone identify for me what I had been experiencing, helped me to feel better and to work at releasing it. I trust that if I experienced it so powerfully, there must be others out there who also had been feeling 'out of sorts' and wondered why. Know that you are not 'at the mercy of' these cosmic energies, and that 'knowledge is power'. The Universe longs to support you on your journey, and so, at such times as when the energies are as strong as they were recently, the powerful Archangels, Michael and Raphael, make themselves available to us to assist and support us. How empowering is that? Archangel Michael is excellent at clearing away any lower energies you may have taken on inadvertently, and also protecting you. Archangel Raphael has presented to remind us how important it is to take good care of our physical selves, particularly during times of stress or distress. Practise 'extreme self care'. Spend some quiet time in nature and allow her healing energy to embrace you; take a sea salt bath and clear your energy field; hydrate and feed your body with nutritious foods; rest, if you are tired, rather than simply trying to 'push your way through it'; indulge in whatever brings you some level of peace and comfort. Call upon Archangels Michael and Raphael to support you and know that 'this too, shall pass'. These energy shifts are necessary as we societally release old hurts and make room for greater happiness, but we need not 'suffer through them'. Accept the support that the Universe offers you at these times, and step out of self-judgment for not feeling 'happy' all of the time! We are MEANT to experience the myriad of emotions that this world has to offer, but we are not meant to RESIDE in them...allow them to flow through you, and to be released. The intense energies of this past weekend are already receding... All is indeed, well... June looks to be a wonderful month!
