Divine Guidance

Cheryl Lee's message for the card is this:

My message for you today is this:
We are currently experiencing some incredible cosmic events and energy.  Mars, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn and Mercury are all visible to us simultaneously in the night sky! Wow!
Many of us have been feeling overwhelmed in various ways in the energies that abound right now.  Rather than dropping into victimhood, do your best to see the opportunity within all that you are experiencing.  Also---when we are feeling overwhelmed by circumstances or our own perceptions of certain situations---we often forget to quiet ourselves and to 'tap in' to the guidance that will bring us back to center.  That is why this card has presented for you today...to remind you of that.  In her message for us today, Elizabeth Peru (ElizabethPeru.com) states: "Remember that we grow our strongest when we push against a weight bigger than ourselves..."  That which may seem as a hurdle that you need to overcome; or a task that weighs heavily; or a to-do list that seems unending---all are merely perceptions, in truth.  As Wayne Dyer is quoted as saying frequently, 'When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change."   So, don't deny that you are feeling overwhelmed; or 'off your game'; or 'less than optimal'; or go into self-judgment about not being in 'control' of your world.  Rather...still yourself for a moment, choose to shift your perspective, and look to the guidance and support that are always available to you...you need only ask.  You ARE a sensitive Soul and a shining Light.  Turn to your guides and angels who are gifted to you by the Divine to support you on this journey you are incarnated to.  Trust in their presence and allow it to embrace you.  You are never alone.  Also, even though it goes against your natural instincts to do so, ask for support in the physical realm. You tend to be a 'helper' and you are reticent to ask for assistance, but sometimes it is necessary to do so...you are being reminded of that today.

My message for you today is this:
Prosperity does not just mean financial abundance.  Prosperity encompasses health, relationship, time, love, AND also financial abundance.  Culturally, in the past, we have equated financial abundance as the means thorough which we will experience happiness and well-being.  We have come to the understanding that financial abundance IS  a component that provides us with security and options for life choices; yet it is not the be-all and end-all of living a fulfilling life.  Today, you are being asked to look at all the areas in your life that are already abundant and prosperous.  Express gratitude for that prosperity that is already present.  Then look to where you desire to receive abundance from the Universe and allow yourself to dwell in the energy of having already received it.  Express gratitude for that.  Take guided action, even if it seems a little intimidating or outside your comfort zone, when the Universe presents you with opportunities to 'go for it' in reaching for your desires.  Truly contemplate and reflect upon what MATTERS to you.  Then focus upon sharing all that you are, in order to bring in all that you desire.  As 'woo woo' as it sounds, it is a very real principle in Universal Law.  It has been stated in so many ways over time, but the bottom line is: "As you give, so shall you receive."  How will you employ this as you move through your day today?  
I have been having one of those days (actually, a series of days) where I am feeling pulled in a multitude of directions and have spent my morning in a state of 'overwhelm' thinking about all of the 'plates I have spinning in the air at one time'.  I am being honest here...there IS a LOT going on in my life at the moment!  This message today has caused me to refocus my attention to, 'I have all the time that I need'.  Simply by redirecting how I perceive 'time', I can use it more effectively.  Rather than 'waste time' in agonizing over how I will get done what I need to, I can focus upon one thing at a time and complete the task in front of me. Do you see what I mean?  Focus upon the area in your life that you wish to draw in 'more'---and choose to act as if you already have it.  Take action that will move you toward what you desire.  
You reside in an abundant Universe!  Know this to be true, and act on that knowing!

Transformation ~ Moldavite

This is your card reading for Monday, January 25th/16.  Were you able to witness the amazing Wolf Full Moon last night?  Early in the evening it was a gorgeous orangy-red color!  My dear friend in Florida saw the same beautiful hue as I did here in Alberta...radiant!
Your card pitched out of 'The Crystal Ally Cards' deck, authored by Naisha Ahsian. Your card is 'Transformation ~ Moldavite', and Naisha's message for the card is this:
"If you have drawn Moldavite as your ally, hold on! It's going to be an exciting ride for the next few months.  You may experience a 'falling away' of old relationships, jobs, securities, and situations.  Anything that does not serve your ultimate path may go spinning off into space, leaving you transformed.
Moldavite is not always an easy Ally, as its purgative effects can leave you feeling like you've been put through the ringer, but it is truly a stone that indicates change for the better. My message for you is this:
In the photo of your card today, you may notice my Moldavite ring, being worn as a 'crown' on the angel's head, and one of my pendants, made of raw Moldavite, draped over the card corner, laying in the hands of the image on the card.  I have made no secret of my love for crystals---I first began to learn about crystal energy when I was working with a shaman almost 2 decades ago---I had actually been 'collecting rocks' from various places all of my life, I just hadn't understood 'why' I was drawn to them!  The shaman introduced me to the understanding that 'everything is energy', including the 'rocks/crystals', trees, etc. 
My introduction to the crystal, Moldavite, was interesting...in the beginning, it made me feel nauseous and light-headed, and 'scattered'.  I understand now, why.  I was undergoing huge changes in my life at that time---some of the change I was very resistant to, although in hindsight I understand that it was for my 'greater good'.  Often, we seek to hold on to what is 'familiar' to us, even as it no longer serves us!  It takes courage to actively embrace some of the changes that we are presented with, and to move forward from what we have come to think of as our 'safe place'.  For instance, I had become adept at 'shutting down' and 'denying' my psychic gifts and abilities; and when I was first introduced to Moldavite at my friend Melanie's crystal shop, I had had teachers and mentors present to me and I was learning how to acknowledge and develop those abilities.  Yet, fear was still very present within me, about opening myself up again and making myself 'vulnerable' in this way...and so the catalystic and transformative energies of Moldavite was 'intimidating' to me.  I now wear Moldavite when I am seeking to raise my vibration, or prepare myself for a known upcoming change that I want to come into alignment with.
It's no surprise that Moldavite presented for you today, considering the energies we are in!
We had the amazing Full Moon yesterday, which was ushering in elevated energy; and today/tomorrow (depending on where you are in the world) Mercury is going direct, after having been in retrograde.  So...we have done some sorting out of priorities and gone deep in ascertaining 'what' is truly important and in alignment with who we are authentically. Now, over the course of this next year, we will be pushed to express that.  The upcoming months we must lay the groundwork for that, which may require making some very real changes in various aspects of our lives.  The FIRST thing that comes to mind for you is what you need to focus on changing to begin with.  NO SELF-JUDGMENT HERE! This is about blessing and recognizing where you have been and how it served to bring you to this cusp of change. Be aware of the synchronicities and circumstances that present for you over the next while...and be courageous enough to 'take that leap' when your Soul urges you to...knowing that to do so may feel a little 'scary'!  Employ the energy of Moldavite to support you with it's high vibrational alignment to the Universal Knowing.  As my dear friend Jaden Sterling often says: "You've got this!"  And, I'm going to add to that:  "Now, go and get it!"

Worthy

You are one of the loving spirits who has come to be in service to humanity this life time. My message for you today is this:
Hear me when I say..."YOU ARE WORTHY!"  Open yourself up to this knowing.  
I appreciate and am inspired to share with you what Oprah frequently expounds: "Just your being here, makes you worthy!" Oprah, who was born into life circumstances that left her feeling unwanted and unworthy---being born to a single mother, who was only 'with' Oprah's father on one occasion and then found herself to be pregnant---now has built her life around the understanding that she IS worthy of being here.  The sheer fact that she was conceived under such improbable circumstances speaks to the knowing that she was MEANT to be here. She speaks often of the unlikelihood of someone from her background now having the life of influence that she does today.  The Universe conspired to bring her to the monumental role of 'teacher' that she embodies today, regardless of (or perhaps, because of) her beginnings.  Yet to have the life of eminence that she now does required her to acknowledge on a Soul level that she was WORTHY of it.  Otherwise all of the beautiful contriving of the Universe could not have brought into being the expression that is now Oprah Winfrey.  Another life lesson that Oprah shares frequently is that the Divine dreams a bigger dream for you than you could ever dream for yourself---because in the eyes of Divine you are WORTHY of it!  Oprah declares that even once she came to understand her own potential and possibility, she could not have foreseen what her life has become.
To struggle with our worthiness at times is part of being human---no self-judgment about that. Just know that you are here on PURPOSE...not by accident.  You are here because you and only you could express what you are here to express.  So have your moments of self-doubt, but choose not to RESIDE there.  Trust in the intention of the Divine in your creation. Know that YOU are a unique expression of the Divine.  Let go of any propensity to compare or compete with others.  When you are in alignment with your worthiness, your life moves with ease and grace.  Surrender to this.  Say aloud: "I am worthy!" and then further ignite and lend energy to those words by FEELING them.  Believe those words with all of your heart.  The Universe is abundant and wishes to conspire in your favour!  We are being pushed to embrace our worthiness so that we can fully express all that we are in this year of 'creative courage'.

Breathe

This is your card reading for Tuesday, January 19th/16.  Your card rocketed out of the 'Archangels' deck, authored by Doreen Virtue.  Your card is 'Breathe', which is aligned with Archangel Raphael, and Doreen's message for the card is this:
"ARCHANGEL RAPHAEL:  Take several deep breaths and exhale slowly to awaken your energy and to release old patterns...
ADDITIONAL MESSAGE:  Often during times of stress, you may unconsciously hold your breath.  Yet, as you know, breath is essential to oxygenating your mind, body, spirit, and very life.  Write a note to yourself to breathe, as a reminder of the importance of invigorating yourself with deep and steady breaths.  Make trips to places where fresh air is plentiful. You'll also notice an increase in air quality when you're near water, such as the beach or a lake.  Even taking a shower or bath puts you in touch with the positive ions associated with water and air."

My message for you today is this:
Archangel Raphael's name means "He who heals", and he is therefore known as the 'healing angel'. Many experience his aura as emerald green in color, and a crystal said to align well with his energy is Malachite.  I keep a piece of Malachite by my bath and I place it in the bath water with me when I am feeling 'less than well'.  I ask for Archangel Raphael and the Malachite crystal to assist me with my healing and return to perfect health. 
Today, Raphael is reminding us about the importance of the breath in maintaining perfect health.
My Akashic Records instructor, Ernesto Ortiz, a world renowned Shaman, stated that the breath is the most readily accessible, yet underused healing tool there is.  He is so right!
Over a decade ago, my favorite yoga instructor gifted her students with the beautiful phrase, "Rest in the stillness of your breath."  She would speak this phrase at some point in every yoga class, and I doubt she understood at the time how I would carry that beautiful phrase---that has the energy of a prayer, really---forward with me, as I'm sure many of her other students have.  What a perfect way to bring yourself back to center and to calm yourself, or slow yourself down..to focus upon your breath, and not attempt to manipulate it or change it...just 'rest' in it.  Beautiful!  When working with people as a vibrational catalyst, Panache Desai always uses the phrase, "Bring your awareness to your breath."  To focus upon your breath, causes you to be in 'stillness', even if your body is in movement.  Marathon runners will tell you that to break through the barrier---that point when they feel that they just can't go on---they focus upon their breathing and the 'in and out' of it and they observe that, to take their attention away from the fatigue. How many times, in a stressful situation, has someone advised, "Just breathe!"  
There are specific breathwork techniques that are taught to 'shift our vibration', such as the Hawaiian 'Ha Breath', for example. In prenatal classes, we are taught how to manipulate the breath to assist us at various stages of labour and delivery.  I didn't realize how much I utilize the breath when I am shifting my vibration to access the Akashic Records for a client, until it was pointed out to me---it is simply natural for me to do so!  I also am aware that I release energy by blowing out a huge exhale, when I am feeling overwhelmed.  A sigh is a releasement of emotion and energy, also.  
Today, become consciously aware of ways in which YOU utilize the gift of the breath. Perhaps you are feeling guided to learn more about breath work. Perhaps you are simply being reminded to 'rest in the stillness of your breath' today.  Some lyrics to a beautiful song sung by Faith Hill keep running through my head: "Baby, all we need is just to be. . . Just breathe. . ."  Let that be your mantra today.

My message for you today is this:
How interesting that the suits of Earth and Air presented together for you today.  The energies at this time are propelling us forward and encouraging that we bring the spiritual aspect of 'who we are' more dynamically into our way of being; embodying the higher vibrations now being made available to us (Air). I LOVE the synchronicity and alignment of the cards that revealed themselves for you today, and Elizabeth's message for you!  
I personally see how the messages of the day apply to me, already.  I had clients booked for Akashic Records consultations with me today.  It has been admittedly challenging to schedule consultations and courses, what with our current life circumstances, but I made the commitment because these are devoted, repeat clients (and friends), and one client was traveling from out of province.  Last week, they apologetically had to cancel their appointments scheduled with me today, and after my initial disappointment, I saw this as a perfect opportunity to take this already 'scheduled' time to work on a project that I had been 'pushing to the back burner'!  So I will lovingly spend that time that I had 'set aside' and work on a Soul project that is very dear to my heart---knowing that I will be uninterrupted, as I had already made it known that I would not be available at that time!  I had been feeling the call to spend time on this project, and lamenting that I 'had no time to spend with it'---then the Universe provided me that time, so I am determined to take advantage of that, knowing that it was Divinely orchestrated!  I will steadfastly protect that time given to me!  "No excuses", 
(and no distractions) as Elizabeth shares in her message!  
Pay attention today, to where you are encouraged to take a stand, or to shift your perspective in bringing the 'Air' into the 'Earth' elements of your life---grounding and manifesting into the physical, what is striving to be expressed from your Higher Self.

Relationships

This is your card reading for Friday, January 15th/16.  Your card today flipped over in 'The Spirit Messages' oracle deck, authored by John Holland (whom I had the privilege of being in a workshop with in Phoenix last November).  Your card is 'Relationships', and John's message for the card is this:
"Relationships are just mirror images of your own life---how you feel and treat yourself, as well as how you react and respond to different situations and people around you.  Be aware that every relationship is an opportunity for soul growth.
We bring you this card, for we feel that you may be questioning a certain relationship in your life.  This card also signifies that it may be time to evaluate and appreciate the relationships you have now or those from the past---good or bad.  Even a difficult relationship can be a surprising spiritual catalyst for you.  All relationships, whether they're on an emotional, physical, mental, or spiritual level, are part of the learning process and enlightenment of the soul.
No matter what category a relationship falls into, it acts as a teaching tool for the lessons your soul needs to learn.  It can help you understand, change, or enhance your individual qualities.  Ask yourself, if it was in the past, 'What did I learn from that relationship?" My message for you today is this:
How synchronistic that my son and I were just discussing this morning how our current life circumstance (my son and his wife, and my daughter and her husband living with my husband and I, while they transition to life in Canada after having lived in Brazil the past few years) MAGNIFIES relationship issues and patterns of behavior within our relationships. 
Spirit has placed the 6 of us in this situation---wherein MANY synchronistic events took place to bring us here---to bless us with this opportunity for gaining a deeper understanding of how each of us approach our close relationships and what individual qualities within ourselves we appreciate; as well as those we may wish to alter or change in how we interact.  We have, essentially, been thrown into an intense, experiential 'relationship symposium'!  What we 'get out it', is really up to us.  We can choose to use this gifted time together to gain insight into our patterns of being in relationship and if our current 'way of being' serves our Soul in best expressing ourselves in relation to those closest to us; and to consciously choose to 'shift up' old habits that no longer serve us.  
Notice that I am speaking here from the 1st person---the ONLY person you can change in relationship is YOURSELF.  There is the popular idiom that says, "When you are pointing at another, there are 3 fingers pointing back at you."  Take responsibility for how YOU show up in relationships---not from a place of 'self-judgment', but from an objective place of discernment.  Only then can you determine if this is the authentic representation of 'who you are'. This may mean asking someone that you trust and that you are in relationship with for their perspective on how you respond to certain interactions and situations---such as having your feelings hurt, for example.  Personally, I tend to respond by 'retreating', which can be interpreted as 'pouting', I have been told---yet, that is far from my intention!  To me, pouting suggests that you are seeking attention and/or apology; whereas my retreat is honestly about a desire to 'get away' and to go within myself, so that I can be in my own energy and process what happened. To get clear about my real feelings about it (as an empath, I take on other people's 'stuff' and it is necessary for me to be in my own personal space and energy to gain clarity about what is 'mine'---if you are also an empath, you will understand completely what I am saying here).  Yet, I need to be aware of how those close to me may sometimes interpret my 'withdrawal'... All it takes is my voicing that I am 'taking some time to think things over', or 'that I need some time and space'.  We assume, especially in long term relationships, that people simply 'know' what is going on in our head and heart!  Not always so! 
There are lessons and opportunities to learn more about yourself in every relationship that you engage in. In the year ahead, you will find yourself challenged to be authentic in self-expression.  Choose to be conscious and to take a look at how you are showing up in relationships. Are you showing up in an authentic way?  If not, what do YOU need to change? Take responsibility for yourself and how you want to be in relationship.  There will be those who will not be comfortable with these changes, and some relationships will 'fall away'. My message for you today is this:
While I prefer to reference that which many call 'God', as 'Creator' or 'the Divine'---due to all of the connotations that humanity has placed upon the moniker 'God'---I passionately share in Doreen's message for this card!  When you honour yourself, you honour the Divine and all that has been uniquely gifted to you to express out into the world.  
Synchronistically, last night I watched a video on the astrological forecast for Sagittarius in 2016 that had been recommended to me by a dear friend, whose birth sign is Sagittarius, like me (youtube...Karma2Dharma Astrology).  In the video, she spoke emphatically to the absolute importance of really delving into and embracing 'who' you came here to be, and what your TRUTH is---regardless of what others may have cast upon you as your truth. This requires that you hold respect for yourself and your feelings, and that you constantly 'check in' with what feels 'right' to you.  Resolve to be true to yourself and to your inner guidance, regardless of whether or not others 'understand' your motivation or point of view, she advised.  
I have spoken here of how I only came out of the psychic closet (well...I was lovingly 'pushed' out of the closet, actually, by my dear friend, Melanie) a few years ago, even though I have been on the path of developing my psychic gifts for close to two decades now.  Many people close to me were told that I was attending 'Personal Development Seminars' and the like (if I shared at all that what I was 'up to'), when I was really studying Shamanism; Reiki; card reading and working with the Angelic Realm and Archangels; drumming circles and sound therapy; the Akashic Records (where I felt that I had 'come home') and other metaphysical modalities and learnings; and also voraciously reading that which resonated with me at the time in my psychic development.  While I could get away with that in the past---the vibration of 2016 will not allow us to be anything but authentic and to respect all that we are and came here to be.  When you take on the perspective that Mother Mary shares with us in the message today, that 'By respecting yourself, you are honoring God."...doesn't that give you the fortitude and strength to step onto the path of authenticity?  To really tapping in, honestly, to what your Soul is saying to you? 
If others would have you feel as though, by respecting yourself, you are not respecting them, then I would say that you have outgrown that relationship.  Bless it, and move on. 
Residing in self-respect is NOT confrontational in nature---quite the opposite.  As I alluded to in your reading yesterday---being 'reactionary' and confrontational is a sign that we have NOT been honoring ourselves and setting healthy boundaries and expectations about how we wish to be treated by others. There is a calm and a centeredness that you experience when you approach your life from a place of self-respect, because you are truly tapped in to the Divine within yourself.  Strive to reach for that.

Wow, wow, wow!  Even as the day began today, I have already experienced emphatically what Elizabeth Peru of 'The Tip-Off Global Energy Forecast' has intuited for the energies of the day!  In her words in her Forecast for today:

You may find yourself in life situations where it is very challenging to even contemplate your own needs, never mind act on them!  I have already had to 'take a stand for myself' today, and I am admittedly not very good at that!  My issue is that sometimes I have to be pushed to a certain point before I set boundaries for myself; and so I become 'reactionary', rather than taking positive action.  Put simply, I 'snap---lose it' in standing up for myself, rather than setting realistic expectations/boundaries to begin with. Seldom do you command the same respect and the results that you desire, when you come from a place of being pushed too far!  People respond much better to you when you calmly and resolutely take a stand for yourself. I have been accused, at times, of 'overreacting' to something, when in truth, I have merely reached the 'end of my rope' because I haven't dealt directly with something that is bothering me.  This has long been a pattern in my way of being, and one that I am aware of, and have been working on.  I am naturally a 'people pleaser'---as an empath, it is more comfortable for me when others are comfortable. Yet, the energies of this upcoming year, which require us to stand fully in our power, are pushing us to rid any remnants of old patterns that would stand in the way of our embracing 'creative courage'.   Coco's popular quote: 'People will only do to you what you allow them to', is an aspect of the theme for this year.   You will be required to be your own best advocate, as you express yourself authentically. Those closest to you may not be used to you tending more voraciously to your own needs, and you may come up against resistance.  First you must deal with your own possible internal resistance to claiming your personal value, before you can expect others to recognize your worth.  How is it 'fair' to be resentful of how others behave toward you, if you continually allow it to happen? You may be pushed into standing up for your own needs today (and at other moments throughout this year)---strive to do so consciously from a place of self-empowerment, rather than from a place of self-defence. When I googled it, to see where this memory arose from, I discovered that it was recorded by the Temptations...how do I have a recollection of this song?  No idea...but it came to mind for a reason, and I could even sing it for you, if only I could sing in tune!  Definitely not one of my talents that I was gifted---just saying! 
To me, it is as though the Divine wants us all to know that we are indeed LOVED through EVERY aspect of our soul experience. That includes while we are here in the physical, and ALL that being embodied means---even through the so-called stormy periods of our lives---actually, ESPECIALLY through the stormy periods of our lives!  
Just as a parent loves their child unconditionally, so too are we all loved by the Divine.  
I have recounted here in my messages to you how creatively Spirit strives to communicate with us.  Sometimes, it is through a song lyric running repeatedly through your head.  When this happens to you, as it did with me today, pay attention to the words of the lyric. You will likely find that these are just the words you 'needed' to hear, or that the words come in answer to a question that you have been contemplating.  Be conscious and aware of this mode of communication that Spirit utilizes.  
It takes courage to have an open heart when your tender heart has been wounded---and know that EVERY heart has experienced wounding in some way at some time...you are not alone in this.  Yet, the choice is yours as to whether you will be so audacious as to remain open to the LOVE that is available to you.  To do so, is not only honoring of yourself, but also of the Divine, which IS love. Be brave, dear heart...open to love, in all of it's forms.

My message for you today is this:
We are now in the shadow of yesterday's New Moon.  Vibrationally, and energetically, New Moons are about manifestation and setting intentions for that which you desire to bring into your life experience.  In this year of being courageous, you will be lovingly 'pushed' to be your own beacon of Light. Utilize the powerful manifestation energy now available to you to focus upon being your individualized, unique illumination in the world.  Your thoughts are magnified, so be conscious and aware of where you place your attention and focus and the emotions that you fuel them with.  Acknowledge any self-doubt, and 'why me?' concerns that may arise---yet do not give any energy to them.  Why NOT you?  Who, exactly, deemed any one else any more or less worthy? Under what authority?  If you are acting from a place of LOVE and INTEGRITY, then your actions will reflect that, as will the results.  Any perceived 'mistakes', 'misjudgments', or 'misconducts' or your past do not negate your ability to shine your Light.  Having experienced the dark within yourself only makes you more compassionate to the dark in others, and thereby allows you to be a brighter beacon, having found your way past the dark.  SO MANY of the spiritual leaders and mentors that we now look up to for guidance and learning, have beyond a doubt clawed their way out of their own darkness.  How can you give someone a reliable map, if you haven't first traveled that road yourself?  And make no mistake...even those who are Lightworkers or Beacons of Light, and have committed to being of service to others in Lighting the way...may still encounter shadow periods in their life, at times.  The difference is, they DO now hold a map to residing in their Light, and they know the way there, even if they stray off the path occasionally---to do so is part of being in the physical experience, after all.  
In addition, a dear friend advised me today---when I was speaking to her about a soulful project that is close to my heart---that I quit using the word 'frustrated', when I speak of it. This word, and the emotions associated with it, are energetically blocking my movement forward with it, she advised.  I see the wisdom in what she shared---I will consciously shift the energy that I direct to this heart-centered project and will surrender to the knowing that I am MEANT to birth it.  Be aware of your attitude and intention and then allow the Universe to support you in ways that you could not conceive for yourself. I will hereby release the energy of 'frustration' and will embrace the energy of 'expectation' that all will come to fruition as it is meant to (which means taking guided ACTION, obviously...this project is not going to just 'birth itself'!)
So, zero in on the gifts you have to share...give your attention to THAT; trust that YOU are the intended conduit for sharing your gifts in ALL of your humanness; and call upon Eos and the Universe to support you in allowing your Light to shine.  Take guided action, and follow the sign posts revealed to you along the way...

This is your card reading for Friday, January 8th/16.  My apologies for not posting yesterday...it was a flu day in bed for me!  Definitely taking on the cleansing and clearing theme for this month, but feeling much better today!  Your card today slid out of the 'Wisdom of the Oracle' card deck, authored by Colette Baron-Reid.  Your card is 'Co-create'.  I wanted to take a picture of the card against the beauty of the hoar frost on the trees, with my beautiful Xmas gift of angel wings silhouetted against nature's amazing backdrop; but the card wouldn't show up in that setting. So, I took an additional photo of it with my angel, so you can see the card clearly.  Colette's message for the card is this:

My message for you today is this:
Wow!  I am continually in awe with the way in which Spirit communicates with us!  This card falls beautifully into the theme of the messages this week and in validating and setting the tone for the upcoming year.  It is simply another way of advising you to step into this year of 'creative courage'---Colette explains here, in the message for this card, just what I was attempting to share as to what I meant by 'creative courage'. I particularly love and appreciate her message, "When you view your life as art, and know YOU co-create it, only beauty and grace result."  I implore you to embrace that understanding as you move through 2016!  I, personally, will be posting that very phrase where I will see it often, as a lovely reminder as to where my focus will lie this year.
It is true, that to be a conscious co-creator in the story of our lives, and to reach for that which is in our highest and best interest; we must strive to take excellent care of ourselves physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. That is why we are beginning this year by cleansing and clearing on a deep level, that which no longer serves us, in order that we may move forward from a place of clarity and vitality.  Of course, this process is not always 'comfortable'. Many of you may be experiencing flu-like symptoms, as I did yesterday. And, this is not to say that we are ever completely 'done' with purging, re-evaluating, and readjusting what 'currently' resonates with us.  As energetic Beings, we do not remain stagnant, but are ever-changing.  Yet the clearing and cleansing that we have been doing at the opening of this new year has been deeper and has been approached with the awareness that we are indeed stepping into a more empowered place.  Those who are determined to reside in 'victimhood' will find themselves very uncomfortable and in strong opposition to the upcoming energies.  And you will find yourself moving away from such people, not from a place of 'judgment', but rather because you can not align with them energetically.  They will literally 'repel' you, and it will be difficult to be in their presence. They will feel the same about you.  Bless those situations and people and all the learning that they have brought to your life---no one is ever in your life 'by accident'.  See these shifts and changes in relationships for what they are, shifts in vibration that are no longer in alignment.  It doesn't make anyone 'good' or 'bad' or 'better' or 'worse'---just no longer in alignment.  As the conscious co-creator of your own life, you have the responsibility of choosing to spend time with those who 'lift you up'---who see the Light in you, and encourage you to shine it.  Those very people may encourage and even lovingly 'push' you into circumstances that you may deem outside your comfort zone.  I know that this has been true in numerous instances with my husband---he sees the potential and possibility in me that I have been fearful in expressing, and has urged me to move forward with it.  Although I resented him 'urging' me to take certain risks initially, I was later grateful as he supported me through my original fear to the empowering place of accomplishment I felt through my authentic expression of self (it is he, for example, who 'strongly encouraged' me to create and teach my Akashic Records courses, which are absolutely aligned with my Soul purpose).

"Life can sometimes become very complicated.  The Simplicity card comes when the demands of life start to overwhelm us.
It's time to get back to basics.  It's time to take a TIME-OUT, so you have the space to breathe and the quiet to think.  It's time for a full assessment of what is and is not working in your life right now.  Are you over-filling your plate with too many tasks and errands? Are you involved in a complicated or emotionally draining relationship?  Perhaps you have been working too much or taking too many classes---leaving no spare time for you.
The Simplicity card comes to ask that you give your life an evaluation.  Take the time out you need, and start to get clear about what brings you sustenance in your life.  While life may never be easy, your life does need to allow for a sense of ease.  We can lose our sense of self and our inner connection to Spirit, when we are overwhelmed with the demands and happenings of the world around us. 
Spirit is calling you to begin making yourself a priority in your own life.  They are asking that you put yourself, and those things which help you feel closer to Source, in front of everything else.  You need a reprieve from the chaotic and hectic energy you are experiencing right now.

And so the messages from Spirit for you this week appear to be about clearing and cleansing yourself on all levels and in every aspect; in order to best honour yourself in moving forward into this year of creative courage.  I have noticed that many of the spiritual advisors at this time have been advising a purging of physical space; relationships; eating habits; and any old ways of being that no longer serve you in this next phase of self-expression that you are moving into this year.  That message continues for you here. 
We are moving through being weighed down and anchored by what we allowed to hold us back in the past.  We are truly moving into a 'lighter' time in our lives, wherein we prioritize better, and honour ourselves in doing so.  While we are never, realistically, likely to achieve a state of Being where we don't feel overwhelmed at times with situations that we are in; we are absolutely making the move of REFUSING TO being in that state of overwhelm as consistently as we once were.  We are figuring it out.  We are determining what is IMPORTANT to us, rather than simply aligning with what we have been told is important to us through societal and cultural norms. It is a common theme to step back into a 'healthier way of being' when we enter the New Year, following the holidays---which are typically about self-indulgence (remember...no GUILT about that...you are here in the physical for all sorts of reasons and to enjoy and revel in indulgences from time to time)!  It would seem the theme of the readings this week will align with that, as the Ascended Master, Hilarion, has presented today for you (and ME!) in support of health and healing.  Perhaps you are a healer, and practise a healing modality in service to others.  Why is it that we are so willing to assist others in striving for optimum health and we don't pay the same time and attention to our own health and well-being?
You are being advised and urged by Master Hilarion to commit to your self at this time!
I SO appreciate that the word VITALITY came up in Doreen's message for you about this card.  Isn't that what we truly all wish for ourselves?  To approach our lives from a place of vitality and a passion for living, rather than to merely EXIST?  Isn't that what 2016---the year of 'creative courage'---is all about also?  Making the choice to courageously choose to express yourself in a vital, meaningful, authentic way?  The Webster Dictionary defines VITALITY in this way:
"1: the property of distinguishing the living from the nonliving 2: mental and physical vigor 3: enduring quality 4: animation, liveliness."  It IS possible to EXIST without being VITAL, but the energies of 2016 will be such that it will be VERY uncomfortable should you attempt living your life from that stature.  We are being pushed into vitally expressing all that we are meant to be.  So...what does this have to do with health and healing?  In this instance, 'healing' doesn't mean solely to 'cure' a malady or illness---it means to bring yourself into your optimum place of vitality---physically, mentally, and spiritually.  This will be attained in various ways for various people, as we are unique in our make-up, even as we are alike.

My message for you today is this:
I was not consciously aware of Ixchel prior to this card revealing itself for your reading today; but her energies are MOST WELCOME!  Personally, I am in deep gratitude to Ixchel for presenting; as my daughter, daughter-in-law and myself began a 12 day cleanse today! The holidays were wonderful; but it is time to detox from overindulging! Last night, as I lay in bed, I prayed for support in this from my own personal spiritual 'team'; as well as any Ascended Masters, Archangels and other spiritual advisors who would serve me in striving to make these positive changes in honoring my physical body temple.  As my dear friend, Jaden Sterling so profoundly stated in a recent presentation: "If you don't take good care of your physical body, then where will YOU live?" 
Indeed---we are here in this physical body to partake in and enjoy all aspect of being human, but it is not in our best interests to take our body temple for granted, either. Everything in moderation---and when we slip into overindulgence as we occasionally do---then choose to fuel and move your body from a conscious place, in order to promote your optimum health.  Don't waste a moment of your time on guilt, which is a 'man-made' emotion---simply make the commitment to get back on track, and utilize the Spiritual support that is available to you to do so.  Mind---body---Spirit---we will likely never achieve CONSTANT balance, but we can strive for consistency in choosing to honour of physical body (sometimes that means enjoying overindulging in something occasionally, too!).
Also, as I was typing up Doreen's message for this card, it came to me that Ixchel's message for us today is that WE are in fact, the most powerful healing advocates for ourselves.  Ixchel is reminding us, today, of the goddess within each and every one of us and the healing power that we hold individually.  We are so willing to offer up our healing energy and abilities to others, but are often reticent in offering up the same for ourselves! 
Ixchel's affinity for water is a reminder of how healing the power of water is for us as humans---we are made up of approximately 60 to 75% water, after all!  So, utilize this healing power---drinking plenty of water is perfect for nourishing and detoxing the body; the sound of moving water is very soothing to many; a sea salt bath is cleansing and clearing; spending time by the ocean or lakeside---all of these are healing.  Utilize them!
I have spoken many times in my readings about moon energy and how it serves us---Ixchel reminds us of that, also. 
You are a powerful healer and noone else knows your body temple as you do---make the choice today to honour it and to be your own advocate and healer...
