Friday's Reading ~ Easy Does It
"Stop trying so hard to control everything and all the doors will open for you."
My message for you is this:
This is a great 'wrap up the messages of the week' card to come forward for you today!
It can apply to every message that you received over the course of the week...
This card does not imply that you be PASSIVE and not take action in areas that you truly need to...it is really guiding you to strive to move with EASE and GRACE, and to allow yourself to paddle with the current rather than to fight against it. Interesting that your card at the beginning of the week was 'Peace' and your card at the close of the week is 'Easy Does It'! You've heard the colloquialism, 'What you resist, persists'... Often times, when we relax about something, the solutions clearly present themselves to us. You have a 'team' that you can call on to guide and support you (including the Goddess, Sekhmet). Employ the power of prayer to assist you, see the steps rather than the whole staircase, and take it easy on yourself...don't push so hard!

Thursday's Reading ~ One Step at a Time
"Lots of little steps make big dreams come true."
My message for you is this:
We all feel 'overwhelmed' with all that undertaking a project or task implies at times. Your message today is to 'break it down' and to focus on each step rather than the whole staircase! Each step that you take carries you further toward your goal and as you take each step, the sense of accomplishment you feel in taking that step energizes you in moving forward with EASE and GRACE. This can apply to so many aspects of our lives...I have found myself feeling 'overwhelmed' with all that I needed to 'do' in preparing for our trip down to Arizona. I am a 'list maker' and when I looked at the list I had prepared a couple of weeks ago, I definitely felt panic about getting it all done! I found that, when I focused on each task on the list and worked at completing that, rather than focusing on the whole list, I was far more efficient. Guess what? As of last night, I have most items 'ticked off' and all is well!
Bring to mind an area in your life...be it healing a broken relationship; or completing all the outdoor 'fall work' in your yard in preparation for winter; or planning and hosting a large social event; or committing yourself to being more consistent in your spiritual practise; or losing the weight you need to be your healthiest self...whatever it may be for you, do not fall into the energy of feeling 'overwhelmed', but rather, identify some steps you can take that would move you in the right direction. Pat yourself on the back for each step that you do take toward your goal... You've heard this before: "It's not the destination, it's the journey."
Might as well embrace the journey and celebrate along the way!

Prayers
"You are being heard! Your guides and angels are acknowledging your prayers, thoughts, and communication with them. This is their way of affirming to you that your messages are getting through to them, loud and clear."
My message for you today is this:
To 'pray' simply means to use words with INTENTION. Do not be concerned that, in communicating with your guides and angels, your words need to be poetic or structured within a certain framework to be heard! You could recite the most beautifully constructed prayer, and without the energy of your connecting with the words and setting the INTENTION to communicate, it is completely ineffective. Keep in mind, also, that your guides and angels know you intimately, and that they understand your languaging and how you best communicate with them. All that is required in making the connection is setting the intention to do so, coming from a heart-centered space, then trusting, allowing and believing the signs that are presented to you in response to your prayers. Your guides and angels are high vibrational beings and it is not necessary to voice your prayers out loud for them to receive them. Having said that, because WE are in the physical body, it can feel important for US to express our prayers out loud to really affirm that we are being heard.
Your guides and angels WANT to communicate with you, it is only you that keeps it from happening...relax, breathe, and express your prayers with the energy of KNOWING that you are being heard!

Be Strong ~ Sekhmet

My message for you today is this:
The Goddess, Sekhmet (pronounced SEK-met),who has stepped forward for you today is the Egyptian wife to the deity Ptah, and her name is defined as 'strong and mighty'. She is a fierce guardian... a sun goddess, aligned with the element of fire, often depicted with lions, denoting her strength and ferocity when the need arises. She is sometimes represented, pictorially, with the head of a lion and the body of a woman.
Sekhmet's message for you is that there is never any need for you to fall into the role of 'victim' in any situation. To be self-empowered does not mean that you never experience the emotions of fear or self-doubt, but that you know you have the strength to go forward, rather than allowing these feelings to paralyze you. There is a saying, "Courage is not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it." She asks you to honour yourself and the strength that resides within you. Do not dishonour yourself by placing blame on others, making excuses or complaining about various aspects of your life. When you feel the urge to do these things, bless the feelings for the indicators of change that you need to make, but do not reside in those feelings because doing so will not move you forward in a positive way.
Where in your life have you allowed yourself to dwell in negativity that stymies you from moving forward for your greater good? Where in your life have you been resistant in 'speaking your truth' or standing up for yourself? Where in your life have you allowed your lack of confidence to hold you back from 'going for it' as you know that you are meant to?
No self-judgment here...ask yourself these questions from a place of love, knowing that to be AWARE is the first step to positive change. 'When we know better, we do better'. Once you acknowledge for yourself where you could employ the strength you have within to carry you forward, know that you are supported in doing so. You ARE strong, but remember that to be strong does not imply that you need to stand alone! Call upon your guides and angels, and Sekhmet, to assist you in accessing your inner strength, as you reach for your highest potential.

Interesting that the card that was drawn for you today is the 'Peace' card, and I have been struggling to post the photo of that card, as I do with each reading, using the SAME PROCEDURE that I do every time, yet for some reason, it will not post!! After mulitiple attempts to post the picture, and admittedly becoming frustrated in doing so, I realized that I need to just MAKE PEACE with the fact that it is not posting, and get on with posting the message for you about the card! Honesty ~ Mother Mary
"I am in touch with my true feelings regarding this situation."
My message for you today is this:
This card today addresses being honest with YOURSELF about your feelings regarding a situation or relationship issue within your life. Many times, we judge our feelings as either 'good' or 'bad', when in truth our feelings are serving to guide us and are a means by which our angels communicate with us--especially if you are empathic or a 'feeler'.
Be honest with yourself (as you were encouraged yesterday, also!) about how you FEEL, and take some time to appreciate and understand why those feelings are presenting for you, rather than just judging your feelings as 'right' or 'wrong'. This doesn't mean you need to ACT on your feelings...rather, view how you honestly feel as an indicator to you of what action you DO need to take, if any. Neither do you need to embrace or 'wallow in' those feelings...simply observe them and acknowledge them and understand that you have them for a reason.
Perhaps you are feeling a LONGING to honour the spiritual aspect of yourself on a daily basis...what is the purpose of feeling this way? It could be your Soul calling out to you, and this feeling could motivate you to develop a daily spiritual practise that feels right for YOU! Quite frankly, I consider writing and posting this daily card reading part of my daily spiritual practise and doing so serves my Soul. I know people who begin every day with their Tai Chi practise, and some who draw a card for themselves each morning (right, Patti?)...the ways we choose to serve our Soul are as unique as we are...
Perhaps there is someone in your life who is a real IRRITANT for you...be honest with yourself about why this person irritates you and allow yourself to be open to lessons within that for you. You get the idea...
Whatever situation or relationship issue comes to mind for you today, Mother Mary is with you to support you in truly being honest with yourself regarding your feelings about it, and in looking into what those feelings are trying to tell you. Be Honest With Yourself
"Look into your heart and you will know the truth of this situation. It's safe to admit the truth to yourself, for we will support and guide you through the necessary changes. Lean upon us for courage and the strength to take good care of yourself. Focus only upon your true desires, and they'll come to you upon angel's wings."
My message for you today is this:
Last evening you were asked to 'wish upon a star' and today you are being asked to be CLEAR and TRUTHFUL about the changes you need to pull into your life in order to fulfill your wish. Tonight we have the beautiful full moon energy, which is wonderful in assisting us to release what no longer serves us...when we do this with INTENTION, it is all the more powerful! Be honest with yourself about what no longer serves you, and set the intention to release it 'for the greater good of all'...no judgment here, about what you are releasing as having been 'good' or 'bad'...it was in your life for a reason and there were lessons. Change can be intimidating at first, even when your heart and Soul know that it is necessary. The first step is to be honest about the changes that need to be made and then to make 'room for the new', by 'releasing the old'. Bless it, and release it, and then know that you are guided and supported in how best to move forward toward your desire(s).
If possible, have yourself a little 'releasement ceremony' tonight, utilizing the full moon energy. I have the blessing of attending a full moon drumming circle at Pegasus Ranch tonight, and I will have set the intention as to what I wish to release for myself prior to that...the power of many drums honoring the full moon energy is an amazing experience, and I advise you to take part when/if you can. Having said that, it is not necessary to drum...have your ceremony in whatever way feels right for you...it could be just sitting quietly with yourself, wrapped in a blanket in the light of the moon. I like to write down on paper what it is that I wish to release and then burn the paper, saying a prayer as I do so that 'this be released to the Light for the greater good of All'...use whatever words feel appropriate for you, setting your INTENTION is the most important aspect of this ceremony... Today, look into your heart, be honest with yourself, and know that you are supported cosmically and by your guides and angels in making the changes that will best serve you!

Another colloquialism , "To RECEIVE, you must first BELIEVE", speaks to our trust that our dreams and wishes are attainable and will come true for us. Indulge yourself in the child-like wonder of believing that to wish upon a star means to send out into the Universe your most heart-felt desires and dreams for yourself... Priorities
"Devote time to your highest priorities...This is a wonderful time to work on projects that are near and dear to your heart."
My message for you today is this:
When Israel's King David died, his son, Solomon, ascended to the throne to rule Israel. Some of the attributes Solomon exhibited during his time on Earth were wisdom and enlightenment. He had MANY wives, whom it is said helped him to understand the power of goddess energy! He is credited with building the temple of the Ark of the Covenant in Jerusulem, structured on architectural plans that his father received in Heavenly visions. King Solomon will assist you in resolving predicaments, in building new projects and in promoting tolerance of various spiritual paths.
King Solomon has stepped forward for you today to assist you in setting your priorities in how you will delegate your time and energy. What is interesting about this is that, according to Elizabeth Peru, an Australian spiritual leader who posts information about cosmic energies, "Over the next 24 hours some SIGNIFICANT planetary patterns PUSH us to step onto our path, that means making decisions that honour you and the reason for you being here." So, as Spirit often does, if we are aware and open, it is supporting us with King Solomon's energy in doing what cosmically we are being compelled to do! So, those things that you have been setting aside because you 'didn't have time', even though they matter to you...find some time today! I DO understand that we have obligations in our lives that must be met...we have been busy with harvest on our farm...but if you are honest with yourself, there are still 'pockets' of time within each day when we choose how we will place our time and energy. Today, rather than using those pockets of time to do what you COULD do, choose to do what would SERVE YOU. For example, I had 'planned' in my 'to do list' to vacuum my house later today, but now, I will use that pocket of time to write the blog that I have been feeling the calling to write...the harvest dust will still be there for me to vacuum later! It is not as though the vacuuming will not get done, but I am prioritizing what is the best investment in myself at this time and a vacuumed floor just isn't it! Even if it simply means taking 10 or 20 minutes to just 'be' with yourself, and dropping out of your head and into your heart, make the time to do that for yourself today... Even on the busiest of days, we CAN prioritize how we will segment out portions of our day and the Ascended Master, King Solomon, will assist you in that...

Heaven Is Watching Over You

My message for you today is this:
Beautiful way to begin your week...with your Guardian Angel stepping forward to remind you that you are being watched over and that you are loved! When caught up in the mundane aspects of our physical life we sometimes 'forget about' the loving gift from the Creator that we were given at the time of our birth...our Guardian Angels. It is my belief and experience that we are all born with at least 2 Guardian Angels...Guardian Angels are YOUR personal angels and they are with you ALL THE TIME! They are unconditional Love energy, they do not judge us...THEIR sole purpose is to love and assist us on our life path. Just as with all angelic energy, they cannot intervene in your life without your permission due to the 'Universal Law of Free Will'. Guardian Angels are high vibrational beings that have never been in the physical form, and although they are not gender specific, they DO present as either male or female, depending upon their primary role in our life, and the energies inherent in that role. When our Guardian Angels appear to us, they present themselves in a physical form that we can relate to and understand. Having said that, you DO NOT have to have SEEN your Guardian Angel to have been in communication with him/her! They communicate with us in a myriad of ways! I guarantee you that you HAVE INDEED experienced the love and support of your Guardian Angels, and that you can easily recall some incidents in your life where you felt that there was something 'unseen' assisting you! The goal is to become more conscious in making the connection and to utilize the support available to you more consistently. How do you do that? You ASK...it is really that simple and that profound! There are many guided meditation CD's available now to facilitate your opening up the lines of communication with your Guardian Angels, and they can be beneficial...but in truth, all it really takes is to acknowledge your Guardian Angel's presence in your life and then to trust, allow and believe the guidance and support being presented to you in whatever form it comes! Their desire to communicate with you is as powerful as yours to communicate with them! Don't complicate things! How will you open yourself up to commune with your Guardian Angels today?

Compassion
"I see and feel others' points of view with forgiveness and kindness."
My message for you today is this:
Mother Mary is the epitome of unconditional love and compassion for others. Not only is she advising you to see the situation that comes to mind for you today from a viewpoint of compassion for others, but for yourself, as well. It has been said that if 3 people were to witness the same incident simultaneously, they would give 3 different descriptions of what had occurred. This is because we each have our own 'personal filters', which we develop based on our unique life experiences and perspectives. In healing any type of discord within a relationship or situation, it is most certainly helpful to understand that concept! Just attempting to 'not take things personally' and to understand that our own 'take' on the situation may not be in accordance with another persons' 'take' on it can bring a whole different energy to how you perceive it... This has been a week where you have been advised to take a heart-centered approach with yourself and others and today's message is no different. Strive to see the relationship issue or situation from a heart-centered place of compassion, rather than from Ego and the need to be RIGHT. Just doing that can honestly shift the dynamic within the situation from one of confrontation to one of mutually seeking resolution. Be the peacemaker by initiating the action of seeing things from a place of compassion. This doesn't imply that, in having compassion for another's viewpoint, we then need to 'take it on', only to attempt to understand it. This does not mean denying or burying your feelings or perspective, but simply acknowledging the other's feelings and perspective. You can be an example of how to reach a harmonious resolution. Your sharing LOVE energy and compassion can truly bring healing blessings...ask Mother Mary and your angels to guide you and assist you in this, and so it is...

Trust Your Intuition

Affirmation: I trust and follow my feelings and thoughts without question or delay."
My message for you today is this:
You have had this card come forward for you before, but it has a slightly different energy today. While the message previously was one of understanding that the 'veil' is lifting and our guidance is all the more readily available to us, today you are being asked to consciously acknowledge the guidance and messages that you HAVE been receiving!
For example, last night I woke up multiple times during the night, just briefly, and then I fell easily back to sleep...it wasn't a 'disturbing' experience and there was no anxiety involved, although this is not a typical pattern for me---I am an excellent sleeper! Each time I woke up, I thought of 'turquoise' and I just KNEW on some level that this was intended as a message for me. Each time this happened, I told myself to remember 'turquoise' when I awoke in the morning and then I fell peacefully back to sleep. As anyone who truly knows me understands, I absolutely resonate with crystal energy, so it was no surprise to me that a message would come through for me in this way, although I can't recall receiving a message like this prior. So, when I woke up this morning, I looked up the metaphysical properties and messages that turquoise can hold and I understood what the message was for me and how it related completely to a situation within my life at this time! The point of sharing this experience with you is to illustrate that we receive messages in a multitude of ways...your Guides and Angels are highly creative...and our role is to be open and AWARE, and to then TRUST in the guidance we are receiving. The more you ALLOW and TRUST in the messages being shared with you by your Guides and Angels, the easier it is for them to communicate with you. The means in which they will deliver the messages are as unique as each of us are...what captures your attention may not capture mine...they KNOW how best to reach you! They are validating for you today that you ARE receiving messages! Do not get caught up in the 'how' of it, just be in a place of receiving. When you do receive guidance be sure to give thanks...remember, the Universe loves gratitude!

Recognition
"It is important that we each feel recognized and seen for our hard work and unique contributions we make to this world. This is why the Recognition card has come to you today. The Universe does see you and all that you do. You are being given the recognition, love, and support which you deserve.
This card can also come when we are about to receive recognition in the physical world as well. You could be receiving an award, honour, or mention. This could be at work, or with a community or social group. This can also be on a smaller scale, in a more personal way...whatever form it comes in, just remember that Spirit speaks to us through the physical world and through the mouths of others...No matter what it is you do or how well you feel you are doing it, Spirit is giving you a cosmic pat on the back. You have done well. Now just allow yourself to really take that in---good job You!
With the empowerment you gain in feeling recognized and appreciated, you will then be given the opportunity to begin to pay it forward. Every time someone you encounter does something which impresses you, be sure to tell them. Not only will you completely make their day, but you'll be surprised how good it will make you feel as well!"

So, you have been reminded this week that you are in your life purpose when you experience JOY and when you share the energy of LOVE. Then, you were reminded to stand in your own power and to embrace your Truth from a loving perspective. Further to that, today you are being recognized for the contributions that you make and you are being reminded that you DO make a difference! It was brought to our attention about the 'ripple effect' when sharing our love energy, be it in a smile or a gesture that comes from the heart. When your efforts and gifts that you bring to the world are recognized and acknowledged, it warms and fills your heart. The 'ripple effect' here, is that we can share Love more readily from a FULL HEART... Allow yourself to fully receive and to take into your heart any compliment or accolades that come your way...do not deflect or deny the Love and appreciation that is being expressed toward you...allow yourself to receive it into your heart. Know that it is allowing ourselves to RECEIVE that we can better GIVE...
You may be concerned that by accepting compliments or recognition of your gifts that you are dropping into Ego...but if you embrace the Love within the compliment into your heart center, you are truly in your 'Higher Self'... Being in 'self-love' is not being in 'Ego'...can you see the difference? When you Love yourself enough to receive, you are better able to give... Today is a day to feel the energy of recognition for all that you are and all that you do!

I had the blessing of attending an event this past Saturday called International Angel Day, hosted by my dear friends, Cindy Smith & Jaden Sterling, and I also had the priviledge of attending that event with some very special people in my life (I am in gratitude!) One of the issues that was addressed was 'Life Purpose'...the BIG QUESTION that all who are striving to live our lives in awareness come to at some point! At the conclusion of this week of powerful messages for you, the 'Beetle ~ Necessary Decisions For Goals' card fell out of the deck for you. This is what Ted has to say about Beetle as a messenger:
"The beetle is one of the most varied of all insects...When Beetle appears, it indicates that now is the time to make the necessary decision to meet our goals. Time to Move On & Morning Affirmations

My message for you today is this:
Just LOVE that these two cards dropped out to bring our message to us today! In your message yesterday, I believe that the manifestation energy of the upcoming new moon (tomorrow night) was brought to your attention. Well, how appropriate that you are being reminded yet again today about letting go of what no longer serves you, in order to make room for what it is you desire to bring into your life. Clear the way by consciously and intentionally acknowledging that a situation within your life is no longer working for you or just doesn't seem to fit any longer... It doesn't mean that you weren't meant to have that experience or to be in that situation in the past...perhaps it truly did serve you at the time...no judgment here...simply bless it and LET IT GO on the physical, emotional and spiritual levels of your being. Then shift your attention to what it is you want to manifest in your life. You were also asked earlier this week to be REAL and CLEAR with yourself about what it is that you want to draw in to your life... Once you release, you are creating a void, so be conscious and aware of how you desire to fill it! Employ the new moon manifestation energy to 'kick start' the Law of Attraction in bringing your desired outcome to you. Then, as you are being guided today, support yourself with positive affirmations. An affirmation is a positive statement of INTENTION, rather like a prayer of INTENT. Create your own affirmation(s) stating what it is you desire to manifest, and don't get caught up in the 'how' of it...allow Spirit to support you with that. This is NOT to imply passivity! Once you are clear in your INTENT, create your affirmation about it; FEEL THE INTENTION of it; pay attention to the 'synchronicities' and 'signs' that Spirit is presenting to you; and take GUIDED ACTION! We are heading into a new moon on September 5 and you are being encouraged to really 'tap into' your higher self and inner guidance and to 'be real' with yourself about what it is that you desire to draw into your life, because your manifestation abilities are heightened at this time. You are being supported by the cosmic energies (moon energy, particularly) also!
Archangel Haniel's energy is both soft and strong at the same time...she embraces us in gentle, supportive energy as we move through cycles occurring within our lives, but she also nudges and pushes us to get us to move forward, for that is the purpose of cycles and change...to carry us forward! Change is not always comfortable, but if we know that it is for the better then we can implement the necessary changes and embrace them with ease and grace. Take Charge of This Situation ~ Moses

When I picked up this card, I knew that it was intended as your card for the day! Your card is the 'Take Charge of This Situation' card and it is aligned with the energy of the powerful Ascended Master, Moses, a courageous prophet who manifested miracles through faith, determination and intention.
