Of all the possible Saints and Angels portrayed on the many cards within this deck, it is your Guardian Angel who has stepped forward with your message today. There are two aspects to your Guardian Angel's message for you: that you are fully supported and encouraged in pursuing a higher education for yourself at this time; and also to look to your Higher Self, including your Guides, and Angels for guidance and support in moving forward with this.
I personally relate strongly to this message and am in deep gratitude to my Guides and Guardian Angels for the validation I have received in the message today. Just yesterday, I registered for a 6 day Immersion seminar with Panache Desai this upcoming August on Vancouver Island...let me tell you that the timing was not optimal for me, as August is typically our family and friend time at the lake in BC, and we also have our 'kids' from Brazil coming home 'sometime' in August for our son's wedding in early September. Although I had a STRONG desire to attend this event with Panache, especially after having attended the full day seminar with him in Sedona last November (check out my blog about that on the 'Blog & Events' page on this site...just scroll down until you reach my blog about my Sedona experience with Panache), I initially rejected the idea of attending, believing that it just wouldn't work out. I am sharing this with you to illustrate that seldom do our opportunities for growth present at 'convenient' times! It has been my experience that we must demonstrate our commitment to ourselves and our higher education and desire to reach for our best selves by 'making it work'. Having said that, it certainly helps if we have loving, supportive people surrounding us, and I am in the deepest gratitude for having that in my life! The Universe longs to support you, also, but essentially it up to you to take that leap of faith!
The theme this week has been regarding 'life purpose'. What are your unique talents and abilities that you are meant to share? What form or higher education would assist you with developing your gifts and abilities? Your Guardian Angel is asking you to access the information available to you through your Higher Self and also the Earthly mentors and spiritual teachers and leaders that you are drawn to. When a situation presents itself for you to study and learn, even if it appears to be 'inconvenient', look deeper...perhaps it is actually presenting to you in perfect Divine timing!

You have already been advised this week by Spirit that it is important for you to develop your own daily spiritual practise, when the 'Practise' card presented for you. While it is true that, living this physical existence, it is sometimes difficult to remain in balance in all areas of our lives, you are being advised today that when you ensure that you take time each day to engage in your spiritual practise, all other areas of your life will FEEL more balanced, whether they are or not! As indicated previously, your spiritual practise need not take up a huge portion of your day, but by dedicating yourself and COMMITTING to making your spiritual practise a priority, you set the tone for every other aspect of your life! It is through connection to your Higher Self that you are better able to navigate your way through whatever your day has in store for you. Your spiritual practise may change over the course of the year...perhaps in the winter months, if you live in a cold climate, your practise is indoors, while over the summer months you are outside for your practise. The point is that you set aside a part of your day to engage in your spiritual practise...whatever that is for you To do so supports your feeling balanced in every aspect of your life so that you are better able to present your best self to the world and make the contributions that only you can make!

Archangel Michael's name means, 'He who is like God', and he is deemed to be the most powerful of the Archangels. His aura is experienced by many as royal purple in colour, and a crystal said to align with his energy is Sugilite.
Each of the Archangels have their own 'specialty'...I think of Archangel Michael as the supreme protector and it is he that I pray to and invoke for protection for myself and my family. I ask that Archangel Michael surround my home, my vehicle, myself and my loved ones with his beautiful purple protective energy. Remember that Archangels are of a very high vibration and they are not limited as we are here in the physical world...they have the ability to 'bi-locate', meaning that they can be in multiple places at once, and so you are not keeping an Archangel from working with another by calling him to work with you. Also remember that energy is constantly in motion, and so it is said that energy shields will remain intact for approximately 12 hours, once invoked. So, if you have called upon Michael to shield or protect you or a loved one, remember to repeat your invocation after 12 hours, if you feel the need.
Another of Archangel Michael's specialties in working with us is in regards to our Life Purpose. This was my reason for choosing his deck to draw from today, because this weeks theme seems to be our Life Purpose.
We are so fortunate, in North America, to have a multitude of options available to us in terms of 'making a living' or 'career choices'. The more that I travel the World, the more that I have revealed to me that this is not the case everywhere! Your Life Purpose, however, speaks to so much more than your career or your job. Your primary message is that, in order to step fully into your purpose, it is necessary to nurture a strong connection with your Higher Self, Guardian Angels, and Guides through spiritual practise. Although it is obviously also necessary (as the message on the card indicates) to hone your skills and abilities, it is FIRST necessary to create and engage in a spiritual practise of CONSCIOUSLY CONNECTING that works for you. It is through making the connection to the Divine that we receive guidance and support in how best to share our own unique gifts and talents with the world. Commit today to incorporating some sort of DAILY spiritual practise into your life that will advocate your living in your purpose. Perhaps you will sit in meditation, or practise yoga or play a musical instrument, or journal, or take a solitary walk...whatever it is for YOU that takes you to that 'higher place'; pledge today to devote a portion of each day, from here forward, to engaging in that act of honouring and inviting in the Divine. As we are in 'the shift', energetically, from the masculine paradigm of competition into the feminine paradigm of cooperation, there is often confusion regarding the appropriate use of 'power'. Lightworkers, who are sensitive to the energies we are in, struggle in standing within their own power because they do not want to override the power of another in the influx of cooperative energy that we are experiencing. It is to be expected when there is any sort of change that there will be periods of adjustment and these often bring with them moments of confusion, angst and sometimes turmoil. The angel, Athena, has stepped forward for you today to clarify for you that being self-empowered does not imply dis-empowering another. For you to stand in your power does not take away the power of another...to stand in your power within the energy of cooperation means to share of your own unique strengths, while honoring the unique strengths and contributions of others... understanding that one need not undermine another. We are NOT to completely deny the masculine energies within us, but instead to seek a beautiful, healthy balance between the masculine and the feminine, as both are necessary in navigating our way through this Earthly experience. Society has been too firmly entrenched in the masculine 'dog eat dog' energy and, as often happens when things are out of balance, the pendulum may swing too far toward the feminine energy end of the spectrum as we seek to achieve a healthy balance. As sensitive Lightworkers, we also sometimes worry that, by shining our Light too brightly, we may threaten others and thereby experience their disapproval or even their departure from our lives. The Archangel who stepped forward to assist you today is Archangel Metatron. Metatron is one of the two Archangels who was ascended as an Archangel after having served an exemplary life here on Earth as the prophet Enoch (the other is Archangel Sandalphon, who
served on Earth as the prophet Elijah). Metatron is often called upon to work with children, especially those who have learning disorders and Indigo children; and his other major theme or gift is to assist us in matters of organization and record-keeping, as he served as a scribe and prophet during his time here on Earth. Metatron is also strongly associated with 'Sacred Geometry' and employs 'Metatron's Cube', a luminous cube composed of Sacred Geometry, which Metatron is often depicted with.
