My message for you today is this:
I just love the way that the Universe works in unison with all aspects to communicate with and support us here on our journey, if we are AWARE and AWAKE.  The card that literally leapt out of the deck for you today beautifully compliments a message shared with us by Elizabeth Peru, an Australian intuitive/spiritual mentor/advisor who shares with us her understanding of cosmic energies, as well as other gifts she has.  I learned of her through a number of clients of mine, and I appreciate the way that Elizabeth explains/describes the cosmic energies and how they effect us energetically.  Here is an excerpt of Elizabeth's posting for today, which in absolute alliance with the message that your card today brought forward for you:

My message for you today is this:
We are moving into the 3 week period of Mercury retrograde today and you are being asked to be fearless!  Utilize this energy to 'step up and step into' what you need to do.
As I lay my hand upon this fractal art card, I felt anxiety and anxiousness rise up within me and then out of me.  The message that came forward for you was that such feelings are not meant to be denied or squelched.  When you experience these feelings, allow them to flow through you, rather than to take up residence within you and to then block you.  Breathe, acknowledge that you are feeling the fear, then have FAITH as you allow the fear to flow through you, to be replaced with calm and the knowing that 'all is well'.  Ask yourself what your fear is based in...is it fear of failure; of being judged; of being ridiculed; of physical harm?  Strive to see your fear from a higher perspective and then take appropriate action.  If you know that to move forward is for your greater good, yet you are experiencing fear, breathe your way through it and trust in Spirit to support you!

Truth

This morning we traveled up to the historic monastery here in Vila Velha to take in the sunrise from this amazing viewpoint.  Housed within this building was a beautiful monument of Mother Mary, so I chose the 'Mary, Queen of Angels' card deck for your reading today. Your card is the 'Truth' card, and Doreen's message for the card is this:
"I am lovingly honest with myself and others."

My message for you today is this:
Mother Mary's maternal energy is stepping forward for you today to remind you that it is important to begin with being truthful with yourself and then to lovingly express that truth when sharing with others. 
Is there an aspect of your life (the very first thing that comes to mind, without over-thinking) where you need to be more truthful with yourself?  Allow yourself to be vulnerable enough to admit and acknowledge your true feelings about the situation that comes to mind.  The upcoming energy of Mercury retrograde is the perfect energy to bring just such issues to the Light, so that you can move forward in a positive way, rather than from the stance of denial. 
It is truly human nature that when more than one person views the exact same incident, each will run the experience through their own 'personal filters' which have been created due to their unique life experiences, and so each account will differ in some ways from the other. Mother Mary is asking you to strive to see the situation that came to mind for you from the perspective of your Higher Self, where the personal filters are removed somewhat and the actual 'truth' is revealed more clearly to you. This will assist you in finding the ultimate solution or perspective for the greater good of all.
Mother Mary also reminds us that there is a loving way to express our truth to others, and that standing firmly in your truth need not come from an aggressive stance, but simply from  a self-empowered position.  Your 'truth' will be more readily received by another when expressed from a position of Love, rather than aggression and seeking to force your Truth upon another.

Letting Go

Here I am, in the coastal city of Vila Velha, Brazil, and the card that drops out of the 'Gateway' deck, authored by Denise Linn is the 'Letting Go' card with the ocean scene and this message for the card from Denise:
"I surrender joyously to the ebbing and flowing of life."

My message for you today is this:
Just as the ocean ebbs and flows, our life circumstances follow a rhythmic pattern and we are definitely influenced by the surrounding energies of nature; including the movement of the tides and the cosmic energies in the sky, the changing of the seasons and the daily morphing of the climate.  As energetic beings, the surrounding energies influence and impact us, particularly if we are highly sensitive.  Rather than strive to 'fight against' or 'rise above' these external influences, it often serves us to 'go with the flow' as we consciously acknowledge and 'work with', rather than against, the current.  This does not at all imply that we merely allow the energetic wave to carry us along in an undesired direction, but that there are times to 'ride the wave', rather than to fight it, and times to paddle diligently, always keeping our desired destination in sight. The effort required to fight against external energies is often extraneous and wasted.  Know when to surrender, and when to push ahead...tune into the surrounding energies and utilize them to assist you...work with them, knowing that the Universe longs to support you in every way. Strive to be conscious and aware of the energy you are in and move toward your goal appropriately...in this way, you move forward with ease and grace rather than frustration and angst.  Trust that 'all is well'...understand that you are meant to move in symphony with the energies surrounding you and that when you strive to do so consciously and joyously your desired outcomes are well within your reach...
We are moving into the energies of Mercury Retrograde, which some view as a 'negative experience' energetically, but when you choose to consciously work with this cosmic energy, it can be a powerful period of accelerated growth and transformation...and OPPORTUNITY, rather than something to be suffered through!  Your message today is to work with the energies around you, to utilize them for your benefit and to embrace and surrender joyously to the blessings within each unique vibration offered!

Hello, from Vila Velha, Brazil! (Where it is beautiful, but very hot today!) The time zone is 5 hours ahead of Alberta, so my daily card readings will be received later in the day for you there...let's just say that I am on Brazilian time in more ways than one...very relaxed! 

Your card today is drawn from the 'Messages From Your Angels' deck, authored by Doreen Virtue.  Your card is the 'Archangel Uriel' card, and Doreen's message for the card is this:
"Your emotions are healing, which enables you to open to greater love. I will help you to release anger and unforgiveness from your heart and mind."

My message for you today is this:
Archangel Uriel's name means, 'Light of God' and he is known for shining Light on issues requiring forgiveness or on issues of resentment.  Archangel Uriel is stepping forward for you today to assist you with releasing any lower energies and emotions that you wish to clear away.  Simply focus your attention on what no longer serves you and that which you are ready to release. Ask Archangel Uriel to heal your mind, body and Spirit using whatever words feel right to you to invoke his support.  Then, relax, breathe and envision the lower energy being lifted from you and carried away to the Light for transmutation.  You will likely have to repeat this process with issues that have been deep-rooted and that you have carried with you for some time...just know that with each releasement, you are 'lightening your burden'.  There are many layers to forgiving and releasing resentment, but each step that you take in releasing lower energies and in shining Light upon such feelings is movement in the best direction for All.  This is not to say that you deny that feelings of resentment or unforgiveness exist within you or that you should go into self-judgment about feeling this way!  Rather, acknowledge that you have such feelings (you cannot heal what you do not first acknowledge), decide that you are ready to release and heal them, and ask Archangel Uriel to shine God's Light upon them.
