My message for you today is this:
For many of us in my age group (50's), the advent of social media and the internet has been daunting, at times!  While we understand the positive aspects of it, we also see the detriment; and above that, we are intimidated in learning to navigate our way through it! 
This powerful means of connecting on a more global or 'worldly' scale has definitely served us; but  has also sometimes meant that we don't give enough time or attention to connecting on an interpersonal level, which has honestly become a social problem, in my opinion. 
Choose to CONSCIOUSLY employ social media and the internet to expand your horizons and to share your gifts with others.  Understand that this is a tool made available for you to use, rather than the 'be all - end all' of communication. (I am smiling as I understand the irony of that statement, since you are receiving this card reading through either my website or my Facebook page! Yes—Spirit also sees the humour in our physical experiences!)
The other aspect of your message today is in the regards to the vision that you hold for yourself.  We often times keep ourselves 'small', rather than to confidently and courageously express our own grand potential (which Spirit absolutely sees in each one of us!). Dare to dream!  Dream big!  Hold your vision and know that the Universe is conspiring in your favour.  When you've been through a trying time, you may believe that that's when you need to set your dreams aside, but THAT'S exactly when you need to hold onto your dreams and embrace them all the more diligently!  Your world is a reflection of what you believe it to be.

(Soulful for me! <3) I wanted to share the words of someone I follow in the email I received from her this morning. Tania Gabrielle is an Astro-Numerologist and I receive emails from her speaking to the prevailing astro-numerological energies. Here's what she had to say about today:

Universal Law of Attraction

My message for you today is this:
Often times, when people are reminded about the Law of Attraction and that what they think about has impact on their life, they are intimidated by that!  It's been said that we have between 50,000 and 70,000 thoughts every day! Imagine if we were to attract into our lives every thought?  That IS intimidating!  You are a vibrational being.  Your vibration is not impacted by what we would call 'fleeting thoughts' that cross your mind on occasion.  Your vibration is impacted more so by what you focus upon. Being aware of this is what we mean by living your life 'consciously'.  In the words of Robin Sharma: "What you focus on grows, what you think about expands, and what you dwell upon determines your destiny."
Or the words of Oprah Winfrey, in this same vein:  "What you focus on expands, and when you focus on the goodness in your life, you create more of it."  There is ALWAYS something good to focus upon, even in challenging times. 
You are being reminded today to CHOOSE consciously what you will place your attention upon.  What thoughts will you notice and expand upon and what thoughts will you notice and allow to just float on by without giving any of your time and attention to?  This does not mean that you need try to control your thoughts—who wants to be in such a constant battle throughout your day? Instead, simply decide what thoughts you will FUEL. There will be no card reading today, but I wanted to share this very important information about today's New Moon in Libra on Thursday, October 19th/17.
New Moon's typically hold manifestation energy, with each holding it's own unique vibration in accordance with the other prevailing cosmic energies at the time. My message for you today is this:
What Toni refers to as 'centers' in his message are more commonly referred to as 'chakras'. Chakras are the energy centers in your body. Chakra means 'wheel' in the Eastern language of Sanskrit, as many 'view' these energy centers as spinning wheels within the body.  There are 7 major chakras that run up the spinal cord, and to the crown of your head. Each chakra has a different color vibration, to do with the speed that they vibrate at. Each chakra is also associated with certain glands within your body and carry various qualities and functions.  Chakras are highly sensitive and it is important to care for your energy centers in order to feel optimal—particularly when you have been exposed to highly charged energy around you, including emotional trauma. Here's a synopsis of the 7 major chakras:
1)  Root or Base Chakra ~ Located at the base of your spine and ruby red in color. Think of this chakra as 'I have', because it is issues of security and safety from a physical perspective that are associated with this chakra.
2)  Sacral Chakra ~ Located just below your navel and orange in color. Think of this chakra as 'I feel', because it is issues of relationship, creativity, appetite, sexuality and desire that are associated with this chakra.

My message for you today is this:
You have been undergoing a vibrational upgrade, although it may not feel at times like that was what was happening! Such adjustments can sometimes leave you feeling very fatigued and you may even experience some bodily aches and pains or flu-like symptoms. Relax into it, and understand that you are literally just 'recalibrating'.  You are an energetic being. It's been a busy week and now I am leading into teaching my Akashic Records Course, Levels 1 & 2 this upcoming weekend! Yay! I am beyond excited to spend time with the beautiful Souls who will be venturing into the Records with me—this is so heart-centred and sacred to me! 

This quote speaks to the intense journey we have been on and the energies we've been in that have been encouraging (urging!) us to stand in our own power and to acknowledge that where we've been has led us here—even as we release what no longer serves us in moving forward. We are being guided to take the next best step and to take things to the next level—the shifting has been significant! The Universe HAS been conspiring in your favour! "This is a complete opening of the Heart Center. Your will and the Divine Will are merging. This is the next step in the journey to Ascension, operating fully from a place of Love. Trust each and every step you are guided to take, even if you do not understand it in this moment. There may be times that you feel overwhelmed with all you've been given. My message for you today is this:
Such a powerful card (the card that this deck was named for!) to present for you on the 10th day of the 10th month in a 10 universal year (2+0+1+7=10)!  Numerologically, this denotes new beginnings, but embracing the new beginning from a perspective of completion, which holds a unique energy.  What I mean by that is that this new beginning is encompassed in the perception of the cycles of life.  Having brought something to completion you are now ready to bring in something new—it's taking the next great step and taking something to the next level, whatever that 'something' happens to be for you. Think of it this way:  It's moving on to your Masters degree, having completed your Bachelors degree, so to speak.  Your Soul is calling you now to move to the next level.   You may find yourself feeling deeply inspired at this time. Perhaps you are being called to take a course that has been calling to you; or to read that book that has drawn your attention; or to go to an event that you know will somehow shift your perspective or enlighten you; or to create a meaningful daily spiritual practise for yourself; or to begin honoring your physical body through conscious diet and exercise.  We had been in energies that were promoting releasing at the deepest levels with the recent Full Moon and the prevailing energies around it. "ESSENTIAL MEANINGS: Motives driving intention; the power of knowing the 'why'.
THE ORACLE'S MESSAGE: There is a great power in understanding your motives right now. The Oracle asks you to be very clear about WHY you're asking this question, looking for this answer, behaving in this way, and, most important, making this choice. My message for you today is this:
We remain in the energies of yesterday's Full Moon, and a powerful one it was! Recall that I shared with you that some were calling this Full Moon the Truth Full Moon—that the energies of this Full Moon were urging us to go within and to honest with ourselves about the whole Truth of who we are—including the shadow aspects of ourselves. We live in this physical dimension of duality, and so where there is Light there is also shadow. What shadow beliefs or ways of being were drawn to your attention that you desire to shift as you move forward? What no longer serves you?  The energies of this Moon are serving to release the obstacles that are real or perceived in keeping you from experiencing your heart's desires. These were being brought to the Light so that we could shift such old patterns, thereby further empowering ourselves.  No self-judgment; only releasement and the intention to move forward in a new, empowered way.
Your card today has presented because it is key that you now stand fully within the INTENTION of WHY you choose to do what you do.  You have seen me write here on many occasions that to me to set an 'intention' means to 'plant a seed'—it does NOT mean that you are attempting to control exactly how the seed with germinate and grow—it is the underlying ENERGY you bring to something.  How wonderfully synchronistic that Colette also uses the analogy of the 'seed' in regards to intention and motive!  It is time to be clear and truthful with yourself about the 'why' (the intention) of your actions toward your dreams and desires.  Understand that it is your intention that is fuelling the outcome. When your intention (motive) is in alignment with your greater good, and thereby the greater good for others, the Universe will support you in what seems to be miraculous ways. 
If you have been experiencing a 'road block' of some kind, be still and ask yourself "What is the honest underlying intention I am bringing to this?  Is the underlying intention I am bringing to this coming from a place that honors my Higher Self? If not, how can I shift this?"
Perhaps you 'thought' that your intention was to be of service, but when you really look at the choices you have been making your underlying intention was that you didn't want to disappoint someone who held an expectation of you.  Can you feel the difference in the underlying energies of each of these motives, even though they might 'seem' to be similar?  When you understand the 'why' of your intention, you fuel it!  The Universe is urging you to move forward and to do so from an empowered place!  Know your 'why'!

Harvest Full Moon

There will be no card reading today, Thursday, October 5th/17—the day of the Harvest Full Moon, also being referred to as the Truth Full Moon. It's referred to as the Harvest Full Moon because it happens so close to Fall Equinox. It has been referred to as the Truth Full Moon because of the prevailing energies that are encouraging us to own our personal Truth and to take action based on that. Full Moons are typically about releasement, and you are to release what no longer serves you, being honest with yourself about what that may be. "Aquamarine is a lovely blue crystal in the beryl family. This stone resonates at a frequency that opens and clears the throat chakra, facilitating communication and enhancing one's ability to perceive the energy behind the words of others. It is a Water element stone, and so it reflects Water's energy by promoting clarity, movement, and especially release. The act of release is a vitally important act in the process of growth. The act of release allows room to be made in your life and heart for those things that you wish to create. . . While it is important for you to develop ideas about what you would like to create, it is not necessary for you to obsess about them in order for them to manifest. Sometimes, focusing too much upon the form that a manifestation will take can actually inhibit the Universe's ability to aid you in your creation. . . If we attempt to control everything too tightly, we lose our ability to experience the essence of our experiences. My message for you today is this:
Wow!  I couldn't script these things if I tried! The synchronicity of this card presenting today is incredible!  Archangel Gabrielle, the archangel of communication presented for you yesterday and now this beautiful crystal, which also supports and facilitates clear communication has presented!  Tomorrow will be a powerful Full Moon in Aries, which some are calling the 'Truth' Full Moon.  Full Moons typically hold the vibration of releasement, while New Moons hold the vibration of manifestation. Yet, each Moon cycle also holds its own unique vibration according to the other prevailing astro and planetary influences at that time.  Tomorrow's Full Moon is about having released any falsehoods and getting very REAL with yourself about who you are authentically.  Essentially, it is about owning your Truth, so that you can then take action toward the fullest expression of that. Do not allow outside influences paint the picture of WHO you are in Truth. To do so is giving your personal power away, and that serves no one! 
Trust me, I completely understand—considering the recent chaos and upset that has occurred in many people's personal lives and also on the global stage—how we as individuals and as a collective are feeling that we are literally 'reeling' with the impact of it all!  Aquamarine holds a gentle yet highly effective vibration in encouraging us to release what doesn't serve us in moving forward in the best possible way.  Understand that to 'release' DOES NOT imply to DENY.  You acknowledge and then you make the conscious choice/decision to release, which is how we then experience profound breakthroughs so that we can move forward in a positive way. Give the best you have to give. That is how we all heal.  The Divine is making itself highly accessible to us at this time, if we are willing. Trust, allow and believe in this.

Archangel Gabrielle

This is your card reading for Tuesday, October 3rd/17.  Your card today glided out of the 'Messages From Your Angels' deck, authored by Doreen Virtue.  Your card is 'Archangel Gabrielle' and Doreen's message for the card is this:
"You have an important life purpose involving communication and the arts. Please don't allo insecurities to hold you back. I will help you.
ADDITIONAL MESSAGE:  I am with you as one of your angels. You may wonder why an archangel is with you. I help many people simultaneously, and you are among them. I help those whose life purpose is in the arts or communication. I will help you polish and trust in your natural talents. Then I will open doors for you to express those talents in a way that will help others. 
What I need from you in return is honestly and cooperation. Tell me about your fears, your hopes, your confusion, your insecurities, and your dreams. Ask me to help you. And then, please walk through the doors of opportunity that I open for you. I am on your side completely! My function is to be your coach, and as such, I may prod you along. My message for you today is this:
Every Archangel has a 'specialty'. Archangel Gabrielle is often referred to as the Archangel of communication. Some experience this Archangel's energy as more masculine in nature and so you will sometimes see this Archangel's name spelled 'Gabriel'. I personally experience this Archangel as more feminine in nature. Her name means 'messenger of God' and many experience her aura as copper in color. A crystal said to align well with her energy is Citrine.  For me, Archangel Gabrielle's aura is more blue/turquoise and I equate crystals such as Aqua Aura Quartz and Blue Topaz with her energy, because these are crystals that assist us with communication. There is no right or wrong way to experience the energy of an Archangel. Simply trust, allow and believe the way in which you experience them.  They WANT to assist you—it is their mission!  
You need not be involved in communication or the arts on a large stage for Archangel Gabrielle to be working with you. Those who deal with the public in their careers: such as teachers, nurses, receptionists, clerks, etc., can benefit from calling upon Archangel Gabrielle to assist them.  I now understand that Archangel Gabrielle has been with me throughout my life, even when I didn't have the understanding to consciously invoke her to be with me. Yes, you must ASK for any Angel to be with you because they are governed by the Law of Free Will and therefore cannot interfere in our lives without our permission.  The way in which you ASK need not be a formal prayer, however—it can be as simple as 'help'!  Now I consciously call upon Archangel Gabrielle to be with me whenever I am teaching; when I am posting these card readings; when I am giving a reading; when I am giving a speech; when I am writing an important letter; when I am creating a new course—you get the idea.  You can call upon Archangel Gabrielle to be with you and to assist you when you know that you are about to have an important conversation; when you are making what you may consider to be a difficult phone call; when you find that the 'lines of communication' are off between you and someone you care about.  This Archangel has presented for you today to remind you that she is here for you to assist you in all aspects of communication and that her ability to be with multiple souls at once means that you aren't taking her away from someone else by calling her to you.  There is definitely something that you need to say or express at this time and this is also being called to your attention. "You are entering the presence of the truly great and sublime divinity. It is without form yet exists within all forms. It is humbling and yet asks nothing of you. It takes a brave soul to meet the towering majesty of divine presence.  It can be a terrifying experience as limitations, preconceived notions and identities crumble in the wake of its light. My message for you today is this:
Simply put, Alana's message for this card means that you are growing in your ability to make a conscious connection to the divinity that is within and around you.  I know that each person reading this can call to mind a time when you experienced the grace of Divinity in your life. It feels like a love that is almost overwhelming in its intensity. It's as though you can feel your heart overflowing with Love. The warmth of it is all encompassing.  Allow yourself to reflect on a time when you experienced this.  I recall having that feeling at the birth of each of our children...feeling the magnitude of the miracle of new life and a love that was almost terrifying in it's intensity.  I also recall having this feeling during a very challenging time in my life when I simply and innocently prayed for strength in handling a very difficult and heart-wrenching situation. I honestly felt the grace of divinity flow into me to give me strength and its warmth filled me.  
We are currently in a time for humanity, wherein as a collective we are maturing spiritually and seeking to make a personal and conscious connection to the divine and to the divinity within each of us.  We feel urged to be the fullest expression of who we came here to be.  We understand that we are spiritual beings having a physical experience, and that we have guidance and support available to us beyond the physical.  We are learning and growing exponentially in our understanding of how to connect to that higher knowing.  Trust in this.
