Wow!!! We are closing out the month of August with a 22 Master Day (3+1+0+8+2+0+1+7=22). Master Days hold the energy of urging us to live our lives 'on purpose'.  Walk your talk and utilize the prevailing energies to support you in the authentic expression of who you came here to be.  You have consciously planted seeds and continue to nurture those seeds. My message for you today is this: 
This is the perfect card to present to you from this deck at this time! (Have I already mentioned that I love this deck?!)  The energies are vibrant and alive at this time and change and manifestation are occurring at a quickened pace, even if you are not yet experiencing that...just know that it IS happening!  We need to be flexible and be open to the opportunities and possibilities that will be presenting to us now and in the near future. They may not come to you in the ways you had imagined, and they may not look as you had imagined.  Yet, now is not the time to shy away!  Be brave!  
Yesterday I shared with you a quote about being the author of your own life.  Those who are writers understand that when they are truly in the flow of their 'writing', there is an element of surrendering to what is seemingly being expressed 'through' them, rather than 'from' them. The writer sets the intention for expressing what they desire to share and then s/he surrenders to what comes forth. If you try to force it, you are usually stymied. Yet, if you haven't set a clear intention or desire for what it is you wish to share, there will be no direction or purpose to what you are writing, either. And so it is in being the author of your own life.  Understand that the underlying desire that you wish to express may not 'bloom' in the way you had imagined. Trust that your seed of the heart is being nurtured from the Universal perspective, and do your part to nurture it from the physical. This requires a self-empowered standpoint on your part and the knowing that you are worthy of being an expression of the Divine as you came here to be!  I absolutely LOVE the line in Alana's message for you that says, "A plant just needs the right conditions to grow healthy, and if you have ever seen a blade of grass pushing up through a crack in the pavement, then you'll know that when something is meant to grow to the light, it will do so, even against the most apparently insurmountable odds."  How inspiring!  The Universe is conspiring in your favor...how will you demonstrate your trust in that today?

Wind

My message for you today is this:
Within her Crystal Ally card deck, Naisha has the Crystal cards organized under the elements of Earth, Fire, Water, Wind and Storm...much like suits within a conventional deck of cards (only there are 5 'suits' in her deck!).  Each element is also represented with a card within the deck, and the Wind element has presented for you today. The element cards are powerful cards within this deck, and we need to really pay attention when they present for us. 
Interesting that, as I type your message for you, my attention has been drawn to the view outside my office window of our large Weeping Birch tree blowing in the wind! The phrase that comes to mind is, 'The winds of change, they are a-blowin'!' I'm not sure where I've heard it before, but it is definitely running through my mind for your message today!  It feels significant to also share that, as I watch the tree outside my window blowing in the wind, there is an ebb and flow to the wind...it is gentle, and then it is strong.  It is important to understand that when we are experiencing some aspect of change within our lives, (and especially change that we are consciously striving to bring about!) there will be an ebb and flow also. The project that you have been working on; the habit that you have been inspired to shift; the relationship that you have the desire to mend; the new career that you are building; all CHANGE is meant to happen in increments---to be experienced in gusts and then gentle breezes---over time. If you understand this, it is easier to go with the flow... 
My daughter often said to me, in her later teen years, when she would see that I was attempting to control some situation that seemed to be out of my control, "Be the wind, Mom..." She was basically telling me to 'go with the flow' regarding things I couldn't change. Sometimes this comment annoyed me, admittedly, but I now understand that this was sage advice!  Is there a situation in your life right now where you need to "Be the wind" and just let it blow on by? 
The other phrase that comes to mind is one that I have displayed in my home..."Just Breathe..."  The element of Wind has also presented for you today as a reminder of how our breath is a wonderful means of shifting our own vibration. Our breath is one of the most powerful tools for healing and shifting our experience that we have, and it is so underused! 
If you have the opportunity to do so today, sit outdoors in a natural setting and just breathe... Relax... Just be... We have been in some intense energies of late.  Just for today, utilize the Wind element that has been gifted to you in the form of your breath. Breathe in peace.
Know that change is ALWAYS occurring.  The element of Wind can be supportive as you undergo change, when you consciously utilize it.  "The winds of change, they are a-blowin'"...choose to hold a positive viewpoint about this today.  All is well!

My message for you today is this:
Archangel Michael is known as the supreme protector. His name means 'he who is like God'. Many experience his aura as royal purple in color, and a crystal said to align well with his energy is Sugilite.  It is Archangel Michael whom we call upon to clear energy and to clear our chakras; as well as to surround us with protection. My own personal prayer of protection is: "Archangel Michael, I call on you now. Please surround________ with your beautiful purple protective energy. And so it is. I say 'Thanks', I say 'Amen'."  Recall that Archangels are light beings and therefore have the ability to bilocate (to be in multiple places at any given time). You are not taking an Archangel away from another when you ask for them to assist you.  Recall, also, that angels and archangels are governed by the Universal Law of Free Will. They are not able to intercede in our lives unless we ASK...so you must ask for their assistance and support in your life. Your request need not be in the form of a formal prayer in order to be effective...you could simply say 'help!' and the angels will be there for you.

My message for you today is this:
How beautifully synchronistic!  Just yesterday I was talking to a client, who had come to me for an Akashic Records consultation, about striving to find balance in our lives regarding family and other commitments, and our spiritual work. We were discussing how it can be very difficult at times to fulfill all of the 'roles' we feel called upon to play in our lives. How do we incorporate our spiritual selves into the demands placed upon us in our everyday lives?
I appreciate how Toni reminds us in his message for this card that we are a spiritual being having a physical experience and that it is in finding how to marry the two that we truly move toward spiritual maturity and evolution.  In not so recent times, many of the spiritual leaders and mentors would tell us that we needed to deny our Ego...that our Ego was an aspect of ourselves that was detrimental to us and to our spiritual growth.  In fact, Wayne Dyer (who has been a wonderful spiritual mentor/teacher to a multitude of people, including myself) said in the past that EGO is an acronym for 'Edging God Out'. He had a better understanding of the role that Ego plays in our lives prior to his passing. With the accelerated collective spiritual maturation and growth that has been prevalent, these same spiritual leaders are understanding that our Ego is a necessary aspect of surviving our physical incarnation! Put simply...our Ego is not BAD, as it was often portrayed previously in spiritual circles. As Panache Desai has often stated, if we were to be entirely without Ego, we would be merely existing here in the physical (and requiring someone to provide all of our physical needs, such as food, water and shelter), and not fully participating in all that this physical experience is meant to be! Balance is the key here!  Allow your Ego to serve your spiritual self! As was also discussed with my client yesterday, she had recently acquired the understanding of the importance of promoting herself and the gifts she came here to share.  As she stated, why had she invested all of the many years and effort into developing her psychic gifts and abilities that she feels guided to share in service to others, if no one knew about her?  And so she has signed up for a social media course that will teach her how to use social media for self-promotion. You must use your mind to share your heart!  This is taking things to the next level of your spiritual evolution. This recent eclipse season has been urging us to take action steps toward authentically and courageously expressing ourselves out in the world. A balanced Ego, and the marrying of your mind and spirit, is necessary in this!!! I LOVE the affirmation that Toni has shared with us for your card today! I wanted to share this quote with you...I feel this message to the core of my Being!!!  Perhaps it's the teacher in me, but I honestly thrive on seeing others step into their own unique awesomeness!  I LOVE witnessing someone shine their Light when it is coming from a sincere, authentic expression of WHO they came here to be and the gifts they are meant to share! Conversely, I am repelled when I encounter someone who is coming from a competitive 'mine, mine, mine' standpoint.  Don't get me wrong...I have had painful lessons that have led me to the understanding that not all who would appear to be shining their Light are coming from a place of integrity...there is competitive, rather than cooperative energy underlying their actions. We need to be discerning, even in the spiritual community. Rather than be pulled into the drama or into judgment of such people, recognize who they have shown you to be and place your attention elsewhere. Celebrate the success of others who are integrally honoring their gifts and know that we live in an abundant Universe where there is enough for ALL! Doing so places you in the vibration of gratitude, which is a powerful manifestor for bringing happiness and success into your own life experience!

Wowza!  There are NO COINCIDENCES...only SYNCHRONICITIES...and this is how Spirit guides and communicates with us!  This is such a great card and message to present for us on this powerful day of the New Moon and Total Solar Eclipse, wherein we are being urged to CONSCIOUSLY live our lives in the most meaningful way; and to do so by first envisioning what that life looks like and feels like as though we are already experiencing that! Personally, I see that it is no coincidence that my dear friend recently returned a set of DVD's by Abraham-Hicks that she had borrowed from me and that I decided to watch the 1st DVD in the set last evening, which spoke to exactly what the message for your card today shares! It is also no coincidence that I finished a book yesterday that was written by a metaphysical teacher/mentor whose message was that you have the ability to shift your life experience in a powerful way in order to share the gifts you came here to share, and that you are not to stand in judgment of your past and what you may determine as 'mistakes' because all of that comprises WHO you came here to be. Yesterday I shared the quote with you, 'Gracefully recalibrate'.  To recalibrate doesn't mean to give up on your dreams and desires...it means to make adjustments in your attitude or your approach to achieving them. The angel, Azure, has presented for you today to shore up your faith. Faith is believing in that which is not yet visible.  The vibration of faith is a powerful manifestor. Holding faith invites in the circumstances and possibilities necessary for bringing about your desires. Can you call to mind a time in the past when you were very frustrated with not having something occur or enter your life that you deeply wanted; only to realize in retrospect that it all happened exactly as it should, in perfect Divine timing, for your greater good?  You are being reminded of that today. We are absolutely in the energies of 'cleaning up and clearing out and moving forward'. Trust in that. Have faith. Take guided action. As astrologer Brenda Brush advises in her posting for today's energies: "This is a time when you can get a lot done and it requires focus and flexibility. . .Be focused but flexible."

Gracefully Recalibrate

There will be no card reading for Tuesday, August 15th/17. I have a busy day ahead! I wanted to share this quote with you, as we are in such intense energies at this time. Remember that 'intense' does NOT mean 'negative'!! Intensity can SERVE YOU, when you utilize it to propel you forward! We are not just out for a 'spiritual stroll' these days, basking in the Light. Rather, you likely find that circumstances and experiences in your life during this eclipse season and Mercury Retrograde are sometimes moving you rapidly toward your authentic Soul expression; and then there are moments when you feel 'yanked' backwards! It is in how you CHOOSE to perceive and deal with feeling pulled back that you hold your power. Victimhood does not jive well with the current energies... Rather, you need to 'gracefully recalibrate' and continue with the accelerated forward momentum that is essentially being offered you at this time. To recalibrate means to make adjustments. Do so gracefully and you will move with greater ease through these transformational times.
Recognize that 'two steps forward and one step back' is STILL carrying you FORWARD...

Regeneration

My message for you today is this:
There is NO COINCIDENCE...only SYNCHRONICITY...this is one of my core beliefs.   And it is no coincidence that a friend had shared on Facebook this morning a video message from 'The Rock'---Dwayne Johnson (yes, 'The Rock' is a spiritual messenger in your reading today!).  In this video, Dwayne is in Vancouver saying how much he loves the city and what it means to him.  He explains that when he visited Vancouver for the first time, it was as a pro football player for the Calgary Stampeders, who were in town to play the BC Lions. Dwayne shares the story of how very shortly after that he was released as a player from the Stamps and how he reeled from that, believing that the only successful future he had ahead of him was as a professional football player.  Dwayne then goes on to say that he has since visited Vancouver on MANY occasions; as a pro-wrestler, and also while starring in movies! He now blesses what he once saw as a failure (being released from the Stamps) because otherwise he would not have been led to live the life he is now living.  His story is a beautiful illustration of the message of REGENERATION that is being shared with you through your card today.
Elizabeth Peru, of ELIZABETHPERU.COM,  has shared with us that the energies of this eclipse season we are currently in harkens back to 1999, when this same eclipse family last occurred. She has asked us to reflect back upon our life during that period and to see how the same 'themes', though not necessarily 'circumstances', may be presenting in our lives at this time. She suggests that we look to the growth we have acrued since 1999 and how we are being given the opportunity to approach our life from a more evolved stance. This is a time of 'second chances', so to speak. 
How has your life been redirected through what you may have originally seen as 'disappointments'?  Can you now see that you are moving toward your greater good because of such experiences?  Divine timing is absolutely at play here.

Leadership

My message for you today is this:

Archangel Gabriel (sometimes spelled 'Gabrielle') is often referred to as 'the Angel of Communication'. Her name means 'Messenger of God'. The colour that many experience for her aura is copper; a crystal said to align well with her energy is Citrine, and of course the precious metal Copper also aligns well with her energy. 

I personally have often felt Archangel Gabriel's energy with me, especially when I am teaching, and I tend to experience her aura as turquoise blue in colour, which to me is the colour of communication and sharing information. While many experience the aura of Archangel Sandalphon as turquoise in colour, know that within the colour we label as 'turquoise', there is a spectrum of nuances and colour variations also. The point here is that there is no right or wrong way to commune with any Archangel, and because you aren't experiencing it as another is doesn't mean that it's not happening for you. We are ALL vibrational beings, and uniquely so. Therefore, the way in which you experience Divine guidance may be similar, but not exactly as someone else does. Allow yourself to have your own experience, without striving to orchestrate how it is 'supposed' to happen! 

Archangel Gabriel has presented for you today because you are being called to share your own unique gifts in a leadership role...this need not be in leadership of a large group of people to be impactful. This could be within your own nuclear family unit. Perhaps you will lead by example how to hold a positive attitude in a challenging situation. Perhaps you will influence how someone in the check out line at the store responds to the fussy child who seems to be annoying others. The ripple effects of such leadership roles go far beyond what you can imagine! You may also be called to be vulnerable enough to allow your authentic self to be seen in a big way, such as public speaking. Whatever leadership role you are being asked to take at this time, Archangel Gabriel is there to support you, but you must call upon her to do so!

Just Ask

"There are many here in the Spirit World that can assist you at this time. We are made up of the Divine Source, your loved ones, friends, Guides, Angels, and Spirit Helpers who are waiting to assist you. We are your Spiritual Team, and all you have to do is ask for our help and guidance.
We bring you this card at this specific time because we want to remind you that even though you're reaching out for answers, you don't necessarily need a special tool to ask us for our help. We have always been here and always will be, and although we cannot interfere with your karmic lessons that you're meant to learn, we can come to your aid by gently inspiring, guiding, and helping you to recognize synchronistic signs.
During your lifetime, you may have tried to do or have done things on your own, which can be rewarding, but when it becomes too much, and you start to feel drained or weak, or you don't have the strength to go on...then call on us, and we'll make every effort to help you. My message for you today is this:
The messages that I share here with you come 'through' me, and are not 'from' me---I know and understand that. The intention in my doing these daily card readings is that the messages presented here will resonate and serve a collective, rather than an individual---and I am included in that collective! So, the messages are for me, also. I have a confession to make: It has been shared that we are in a powerful time and that the energies being offered are conducive to accelerated movement forward...that the Universe is indeed conspiring in our favour. Yet, I personally found myself in frustration yesterday as a very heart-centered project of mine seemed to have been stymied, with no forward movement when we are 'so close' to birthing it, despite concerted efforts to bring it to fruition. I believe absolutely in Divine Timing, and that our Spiritual Advisors and the Divine are there to support us, even when we don't necessarily see evidence of that here in the physical at certain moments in time. Yet, even when we strive to live our lives consciously, we may still drop into moments of doubt and/or frustration. That's part of being human. As has been said so often here...we are not meant to DENY our feelings, but rather, to use them as guideposts. Sometimes, feelings of frustration mean it would be best to redirect ourselves. How do we know? WE JUST ASK! Ask your Spiritual Advisors to assist you---trust, allow and believe the guidance being offered, and then take guided action.  When I checked the Inbox on my computer this morning, a very possible solution to yesterday's frustration over my heart-centered project awaited me, from a source I hadn't imagined!  To receive such assistance, we must ASK, due to the Universal Law of Free Will. Our Spiritual Advisors cannot intercede in our life experience without our permission and so, we must ask. What is interesting is that it is often in those times that we require their assistance most, that we 'forget' to reach out to them!  Working consciously with your Spiritual Advisors doesn't mean that you will never encounter challenges or times of frustration.  It does mean, however, that you will move through your life with greater ease and grace and that the challenges and frustrations will not be the prevailing theme of your life experience.  This message has presented for you today---when we are experiencing an INTENSE energy period in the month of August and the eclipse season---to remind you of the support that is available to you. Utilize that support to employ these energies for your greater good, and you may find your life progressing forward in ways you could not have imagined!  Just ask...and TRUST!

My message for you today is this:
Beautiful synchronisticity for this card to present as we are in the residual energies of Monday's Full Moon and partial Lunar Eclipse!  Did you notice the incredible Moon early last evening as it was rising in the sky?  My husband pointed it out to me, and it was a sight to behold...an orange, glowing globe as it appeared on the horizon and then illuminating in golden light as it rose in the sky! Spectacular! My husband then made the comment wondering what ancient civilizations must have thought when witnessing such events. My response was that they were probably far more 'in tune' with these natural occurrences than we have been this past century, actually.  We had been in a period of 'disconnect', in my opinion---from the natural world and from our innate intuitive abilities. This is what the 'shift' is about...as a collective we are opening once again to the intuitive aspect of ourselves.
We are being called to live our lives CONSCIOUSLY and with intention.  Does this mean that we will experience a challenge-free life? Absolutely not! It means that we strive to integrate the lessons and the meaning that our life experiences bring to us; thereby leaving behind any old patterns of dropping into victimhood. The idiom, "Life is happening FOR you, not TO you,"  requires that we look below the surface of our experiences and understand that there is learning available there for us. Tap into your inner knowing and to the guidance that is available to each and every one of us, if we reach for it.  Energy is in flow, and so there are times when accessing the vibration of the Divine will happen more readily and easily.  We are experiencing just such a time. The veil is thin.  Utilize this 'window' and open yourself to the information being shared with you. Trust in what you receive. Believe.

My message for you today is this:
Yesterday we experienced the Full Moon and partial Lunar Eclipse that is leading us into the Eclipse season. As stated here so often, energy is in FLOW and is not 'clap-on/clap-off', and so we reside in the energies of that Full Moon yet today.  How appropriate that this card presented for you today! Even further to how the past lives that you have experienced have impacted who you are in this lifetime; the prevailing energies of this Eclipse season are harkening back to your PAST in THIS current lifetime, as well, and you are being given the opportunity to experience release on the deepest level of that which no longer serves you in some area of your life. Specifically, Elizabeth Peru, in her Tip-Off Global Energy Forecast tells us that this Eclipse family that we are currently experiencing last happened in August 1999 and so the energies we now find ourselves in are very similar to those we experienced at that time. Elizabeth suggests that we look back to what was happening at that time in our lives, and how we dealt with our circumstances then; speculating about how we might deal with the same circumstances differently now.  In this way, you may bear witness to the Soul growth and lessons you have incurred since August 1999.
