As the time is drawing nearer to our daughter and son-in-law's wedding celebration here on our farm in July, we are in the throes of final preparation.  Guests from Brazil will be arriving in June, and we still have structural projects to complete.  I know that it will all come together, but I can't commit to posting daily card readings on a regular basis over the next 6 weeks. Flexible

This is your card reading for Friday, May 27th/16.  Your card twirled out of the 'Wisdom of the Oracle' card deck, authored by Colette Baron-Reid.  Your card is 'Flexible' and Colette's message for the card is this:
"ESSENTIAL MEANINGS: Teachability; open-mindedness; being adaptable without compromising what's most important.
THE ORACLE'S MESSAGE:  A tree's roots are solidly planted in the ground, yet it's branches can bend in a hurricane...whereas a rigid structure, like a building, would come crashing down.  Consider how the remains supple and secure when everything around it may be in shambles.  This is how YOU need to be now:  willing to learn new things, teachable, malleable, yet firmly grounded in who you are.  Common sense is important but so is an open mind.  Stay curious; stay open.  Stay aware. At this time, others will be more flexible with you, too.

My message for you is this:
Many of your messages recently have alluded to your consciously striving to be an authentic expression of yourself, while relaxing into and embracing the knowing that Spirit often has a greater plan for us than we do for ourselves!  So...plan away...just know that your best laid plans may be 'tweeked' and 'upgraded' by Spirit! Ha!  Remain firmly rooted in your beliefs and values and what you truly believe in; but allow yourself to bend with the prevailing winds of change, situations and opportunities that present to you.  
I shared the 'ducks in a row' photo and quote with you the other day.  Another standing phrase that I am often heard to say these past couple of years during a fast-paced and quick-changing period of my life is: "I am a leaf on the wind!"  This little 'mantra' came about because my personality is such that I like to have my 'ducks in a row'.  When my daughter was a teenager and she would see that my anxiety was rising because I didn't have a handle on something, she would say to me, "Be the wind, Mom", meaning that I should relax and go with the flow, because in truth you can't possible control everything.  Well...at one particularly frenetic time in my life when it seemed that things were changing at lightning speed, and my daughter found it 'wise' to share her 'Be the wind' advice with me, I retorted with "I'll be the wind alright...I'll be a tornado!!!"  To which my daughter's husband calmly then said: "Maybe instead, Maja (which is what he calls me for 'Mom') you should try to be a LEAF ON THE WIND".  And so was birthed my mantra. 
When I have voiced, on occasion, my mantra "I am a leaf on the wind" to a dear friend, she has replied, "No you're not, my friend, but I know you're trying!"  Haha!  Yes, I am learning.
The point is, at times when you are feeling as though the winds of change are blowing a little too hard, remember that you are firmly rooted and ground yourself into that knowing. To attempt to remain rigid and unbending is counter-productive.  Spirit has an omniscient viewpoint and so sometimes we need to just trust, allow and believe that all is happening for our greater good.  The key here is to be unyielding in standing in your personal Truth, while being flexible in how that may play out for you.  None of my ducks were in the pond of my speaking publicly at a major spiritual event this fall; yet once this opportunity was presented to me, I knew intuitively that I must do it, even as I am not sure exactly 'why'.  And so it is with you.

Achievement ~ Keep focused on your dream

"You will soon achieve a goal you had set for yourself.  Your hard work and persistence is about to pay off.  Know that you deserve all the success that is coming your way.  Quietly acknowledge this to yourself as you celebrate your achievements. Thank the Earth and universe for this blessing in the knowledge that all you do is a co-creation with the higher powers that be.  Then, refocus your attention back to the task at hand.  Do not lose sight of your original purpose and intention.  This is only the beginning; much more can be accomplished provided you keep focused on your dream.  Remember what is truly important to you. It may be helpful to set a new goal.  This could be bigger and more fulfilling than you ever imagined.

My message for you today is this:
Today is a 22 Master Day (2+6+0+5+2+0+1+6=22), of which there are twenty-one packed into an eight month period in 2016 (February through October)!  The energies of this particular 22 Master Day are of focusing upon your dream and taking action steps in that direction.  The best way to ground in and utilize the energies of this day are to focus upon what is presently in front of you, rather than in projecting too far into the future, and thereby becoming overwhelmed with the perceived enormity of what you wish to achieve. The song lyric "Break it down, down, down..." keeps running through my head, as part of your message today.  This is not to say that 'planning' is not an important aspect of achievement. But you can only really give your attention to one thing at a time, so focus upon the next best step.  It is no coincidence that I watched a video clip on Facebook this morning that a friend had posted of Oprah Winfrey speaking to focusing on 'what is your next right move', and that we 'all have a supreme destiny'. She also states that there are no mistakes, and that when we veer off our path, those experiences are meant to redirect us back onto our path.  
Realize that in regards to 'achievement', your message today is not speaking merely to your career or how you earn your living.  It is much more expansive than that. It is about how you authentically express yourself into the world...that is the legacy that you wish to leave of how your being here impacted those around you...your family and your community.  
You are being advised to really tune in to what your intuition is telling you and to be present and focused upon what you undertake today.  This is not a day to have your 'head in the clouds'. There is nothing wrong with daydreaming...it can actually be productive in it's own way too...but today you need to be grounded and action oriented in order to employ the energies being offered you.

Hematite ~ Manifest Light

This is your card reading for Tuesday, May 24th/16.  Your card glided out of 'The Crystal Ally Cards' deck, authored by Naisha Ahsian.  Your card is 'Hematite ~ Manifest Light', and Naisha's message for the card is this:
". . .Hematite is a metalic, silver-gray stone that leaves a red streak when drawn across a scratch plate.  Because of this red streak, the ancient Greeks felt that Hematite was the solidified blood of the Earth, and so called it 'haimatites' or 'bloodlike stone'. . .As an Ally, it aids in drawing the higher frequencies of spiritual energy onto the Earth plane, and grounding that energy into the physical body and physical matter. Hematite works as an energy regulator, drawing upon and balancing energy where it is needed. . . We know that all matter is actually energy that vibrates within a certain range of frequencies. My message for you today is this:
The angel in the photo of your card today is 'wearing' a Hematite and Turquoise necklace that I bought while in Turkey in 2004. I had no idea of the properties of Hematite when I purchased it…I was simply drawn to it...and that is how it typically 'works' with crystal energy.  We are drawn to certain crystals and their resonance on an intuitive level, without having to know exactly 'why'.
Wow!  I absolutely love and appreciate how Naisha shares the meaning of being a 'Lightworker' as she speaks to us about the Age of Light in her message above!  To be a Lightworker means that you strive to bring Light into the world, through the expression of your own unique aptitudes and abilities.  Not only those on the world stage, sharing their messages of spiritual growth and development, are Lightworkers.  You may be a Lightworker within your marriage as you support your partner in realizing his/her own potential; or even as you support your partner through some health challenge. You may be a powerful Lightworker within your own family circle; through breaking old dysfunctional patterns that comprised your family dynamics in the past.  You may be a Lightworker in your community by volunteering your time and talents in service to others.  Essentially, to be a Lightworker means to share the vibration of LOVE, which is to bring in the Light, in whatever way you feel inspired to...it could be as simple as sharing a smile with someone. 
Of course the phrase that Naisha shares in her message above ". . .we can consciously connect with the high frequency energy of the Universe, and use our bodies and minds as channels for that energy to be transmitted into this physical realm" speaks so profoundly to me!  It is why my spiritually based business is named 'Conscious Connections'.  My passion is in assisting others to discover how to make the conscious, deliberate and intentional connection to their intuition, Higher Self, and the guidance which the Universe has to offer every one of us...to shine their own Light! 
Synchronistically, Elizabeth Peru advises in her Tip-Off Global Energy Forecast for the cosmic energies of this day, also: "Focus on uplifting the planet through your presence." YOU, yes YOU, are a Lightworker!  EVERY time you shine your Light, you illuminate the world!

My message for you today is this:
Well, this May long weekend here in central Alberta has been typical 'May long' weather...cloudy and cool, with a little rain and snow!  I am one of those people who really needs some sunshine---continued dreary weather leaves me feeling low energy and I want to 'cocoon'.  Interesting that the cosmic energies, following Saturday's Full Moon are urging us to 'go for it', rather than to hibernate!  
Is there something that you can 'work on' or take action on to bring it to the next level, especially from home?  You need not be 'out in the world' today to progress something that you desire to move forward with.  Shift your focus from one of 'struggle' to one of 'ease and grace'.  Hold a positive attitude and take the next best step, noting how your attitude and the perspective you approach your project with will impact the ease with which you move forward with it.  Relax into the knowing that you are being sent just what you need for the betterment of what it is you wish to advance, even if you can't 'see' that yet.  You may be surprised with what is presented to you...perhaps it will be the perfect person or situation to support you in achieving your desired goal in an unexpected way.  
This may be in regards to career, relationship, or a health issue that you wish to resolve. 
Take action, even if it seems to you to be a 'small step',  and witness how things further reveal themselves and unfold for you. This is no time to 'play the victim' or to drop into 'woe is me'!  To do so will be working against the energies being offered you today. Optimism and positive expectations are called for!  Trust, allow, believe!  As Jaden loves to say, "You've got this!"

Universal Laws of Inspiration & Least Effort

Last week flew by and was crazy busy! My apologies for missing posting your card readings later in the week, with no notification.  It is snowing here today, and yet the clematis vine on the front of our house is graciously blooming in the midst of that!  While I generally don't post on the weekends, I have time today, and I was inspired to do so when I saw the snow falling even as the clematis and our lilac bushes are blooming!  Welcome to May in Alberta!!
Two cards skimmed together out of the 'Universal Laws of Conscious Creation' deck, authored by Lara Solara, Dana Da Ponte, and Marlene Chapman.  No surprise that one of them was 'Universal Law of Inspiration' (as I'd been inspired to post for you today) and the other is the 'Universal Law of Least Effort'.  The author's messages for the cards are:
~Universal Law of Inspiration~
"The Law of Inspiration states that inspired ideas, visions, and thoughts originate from the one universal mind. Because all minds are one and interconnected, all individuals have access to the knowledge, wisdom, and genius of the one universal mind.  The individual is inspired by the universal mind when living in harmony with the Universe. ~Universal Law of Least Effort~
"The Law of Least Effort states that the Universe always moves along the path of least resistance.  As an individual, you can follow the path of least resistance by concentrating your efforts on your internal world of thoughts and feelings until the conditions are right for you to take action.  If you choose to act before the Universe has aligned conditions to support your actions, you must expend great effort. Your job in the creation process is to live in the vibration that matches your ideal, to act upon opportunities that come your way, to notice the signs and synchronicities, and to open, detached, and trusting.  The Universe's job is to work behind the scenes to attract to you what it is you are creating.  Once you've decided what it is that you want, your first tendency may be to act on that desire.  Use the wisdom of this law instead: stop and wait.  Allow opportunities to come to you.  This does not mean that you will not have to act; it means that when it is time to act, your next steps will be obvious and harmonious.  When opportunities present themselves, synchronicities abound, and everything seems to be coming together effortlessly, the time is right for action. And when the time does come to act, always give 100%.  This card is reminding you that when you are putting in a lot of effort but getting very few results, it is time to align with the Law of Least Effort.  Concentrate your efforts on mastering your thoughts and feelings first, and let the Universe take care of the HOW."

My message for you today is this:
The first image that came to mind as I was typing up the author's message for the cards today was of gazing down from a vantage point at the top of the north coulee on our farm and seeing the meandering path of the creek that flows through it (Crossfield Creek).  The water follows the path of least resistance as it flows through the coulee bottom and thereby creates a meandering ribbon of creek bed.  How uninteresting it would be if it traveled in a 'straight line', rather than the twisting pathway it presents.  It is not likely 'visible' as to why the current of the creek made certain diversions at the time of it's creation, yet there were circumstances that caused it to be so at that moment in time. The subsequent impact of the water having taken that particular course on the surrounding environment was yet to be determined when that path was taken; but that it would have an impact is undeniable.   
And so it is with our life path.  Recent events in my own life illustrate how these Universal Laws played out for me.  I have shared here that our current family circumstances of having two of our adult children and their spouses moving home from Brazil and living with us as they transition to life in Canada; hosting our daughter and son-in-law's wedding celebration here on our farm this July and all of the site preparation and planning involved to host the Brazilian guests and others; the blessed addition of our beautiful grandson to our family; selling our vacation home in Arizona and packing and moving the contents back to Canada; our son and daughter-in-law selling their home in south Calgary to move to Airdrie, and trying to support them in their move, etc. etc; has left little time for me to pursue my 'spiritual' life and activities.  Even posting the readings is challenging, at times, in all the 'busyness' of life these days.  While all that I have listed here have been very welcome and happy events, it has all made for life being 'happily hectic' and sometimes even frenetic!  I have, at times, been admittedly frustrated with feeling that I have had to 'park' parts of myself: including the teaching and consultations and a very heart-centered project that had become a fulfilling part of my life.  I have an innate KNOWING that 'everything happens for a reason', and yet with the energies of this year that have been URGING us to set our feet firmly on the path of our SOUL, and to live our life honouring our unique gifts and abilities, why was my time and energy being pulled so emphatically away from my spiritual teaching and pursuits, I wondered?  
THIS IS HOW THE LAWS OF 'INSPIRATION' AND 'LEAST EFFORT' WORK:
I attended 'Spring Fling With the Angels' on May 7th, which is an annual event hosted by my dear friends Cindy Smith and Jaden Sterling, that I have attended since it's inception.   Another dear friend, Patti, had organized our attending by purchasing the tickets and coordinating a group of us to attend together, otherwise in the busyness of my life, I would have likely missed attending this year.  This is an inspiring gathering of like-minded people that is so uplifting and fun!  On this occasion, one of the guest speakers was Karen MacGregor, whose soulful expression is in teaching people how to 'Rock the Stage' in speaking publicly about and promoting themselves and their own particular gifts and abilities.  While I had NO INTENTION prior to hearing Karen's presentation of ever taking another 'public speaking' course (the last I took was while I was attaining my Bachelor of Education degree in university and that course was AGONIZING for me!), I found myself excitedly making my way to her booth during the break to sign up for a course she was offering!  I had no idea 'why'---and I was admittedly a little 'anxious' about the prospect---but I just KNEW that I needed to do this.  And so I registered for her course offered in November of this year.   A week later---completely unexpected and OUT OF THE BLUE---I received a call asking me to give a 30 minute speech at a major spiritual event in September!  I was deeply honoured to have this opportunity being presented to ME, of all possible people, but I was simultaneously scared sh*tless!  I DO NOT see myself in any way as a 'public speaker', and yet it is interesting on how many occasions the Universe has placed me in that role (much to my initial dismay!); including scripting and speaking at my own parent's memorial services because neither wanted a formal funeral.  Well...I couldn't have scripted how things have played out for me recently if I had tried, because I certainly wouldn't have had me speaking publicly in front of hundreds of people!  Yet, I know that I am meant to take on this speaking engagement, for some reason that will later reveal itself, despite my obvious anxiety in doing so! My next query to the Universe was 'why is this speaking engagement happening PRIOR to the public speaking course I am taking?' and I know in my heart there is a reason for that, also. As shared by the author's of this deck in the message above, I will (and I encourage you to): 
"Allow yourself to be inspired by a source that can see the whole picture. . .Remain relaxed and trust that the Universe is sending you exactly what you need. . .Allow opportunities to come to you. . .And when the time does come to act, always give 100%. . ." 
Some beautiful synchronicities occurred to bring this into being for me, and I will honour and trust in that. How have the Laws of 'Inspiration' and 'Least Effort' presented in your life in the past? Pay attention to how they present to you in the near future.  These laws, in unison, are being brought to your attention at this time for a reason.  Just as the unlikelihood of the falling snow and the blooming clematis vine happening at the same time presented for us in the image I have shared with your cards for today, watch for the Universe conspiring in your favor in unexpected ways!

In honour of Daverna ~ a shining Light...

On May 12th/16, my dear friend and mentor, Daverna, crossed over.  My heart is filled with love and gratitude for the many learnings and blessings that she brought into my life and the lives of many others during her all too brief time here.  
The Universe gifted me with Daverna's loving presence and guidance after my younger brother suddenly and tragically passed in December 1997 at 34 years old.  In the time following his passing, I was admittedly struggling to make sense of the world and also found my 'psychic abilities' rising to the surface again after having 'squashed' and denied them in the loving busyness of raising my 3 young children.  A close friend of mine who bore witness to my struggle (even as I believed that I was fully functioning and 'doing just fine' in carrying on with life) insisted one day that I join her to have lunch with a few of her friends who gathered every week. Little did I know the impact this 'little lunch gathering' would have on my life!  It was at this luncheon that I had my very first 'angel card reading' done for me by Daverna and her close friend (and I am pleased to say, my close friend now too!) Carol. I didn't know that oracle card decks even existed, but as Daverna and Carol did a reading for me with some decks by Doreen Virtue, I was blown away with the accuracy of what they shared with me about my current life circumstances and the messages that were shared as guidance from the angels!!! I asked my friend later what she had told Daverna and Carol about me and my life prior to the reading and she affirmed for me, "I just told them that my friend Linda would be joining us for lunch."  It was uncanny!  Following that experience, I went out and bought my own deck of angel oracle cards, authored by Doreen Virtue---Messages From Your Angels---and I used that deck and others that I felt compelled to purchase over time, as an accurate divination tool for connecting to the angels and receiving guidance for myself.  I was blessed with other readings given by Daverna and Carol, but none stand out in my mind as that first one does, having opened a door for me and validating what I had 'always' known---your angels are there for you. 
That luncheon was only the beginning of a beautiful and inspiring friendship I had with Daverna.  The 'list' of the blessings she brought to my life are too numerous to mention here completely.  She introduced me to so many people and experiences that facilitated my spiritual growth and helped me to understand and develop my own psychic gifts:
~Taking me (very reluctantly) to visit a shaman, who so impacted me that I then went on to study with this shaman as her teachings validated my knowing that 'everything is energy'. 
~Introducing me to the couple who facilitated drum making in the native tradition and who hosted sweat lodges that I was so fortunate to participate in.  
~I loved attending the drum circles held in Daverna's  teepee almost every summer Sunday for some years, and especially appreciated the one she held in my father's honour after his passing in 2008---it was so powerful and healing for me!
~Daverna was my first Reiki teacher, in 2004 as my Level 1 Usui Reiki teacher; and she helped me to understand how I had been experiencing 'energy' all my life.  
~While I have always been drawn to 'rocks' and have actually been compelled ever since I can remember, to 'bring certain rocks home with me' when traveling; and had learned in my studies with the shaman that 'rocks' are energetic 'beings'; it was Daverna who introduced me to crystal energy as a means to support us vibrationally.  On one visit to her place, she gifted me a little pocket piece of Snowflake Obsidian when I confided in her that I was scared and nervous about an upcoming meeting with my then sister-in-law.  She told me that this rock would give me courage and help me to stand in my power and that I was to just reach into my pocket and hold the Snowflake Obsidian in my hand if I was feeling anxious.  The meeting, which I had agonized about, was complacent and 'threat-free'.  So began my passion for crystals, my learning of their metaphysical properties, and how we can utilize them to support us in our lives! 
~Road trips to the Body, Soul, Spirit Expos and other spiritual adventures with my 'posse', as I affectionately called this beautiful group of like-minded women---of which Daverna was a key player---were filled with laughter and tears and a deep connection that cannot be defined, as we journeyed together in my mini-van, Tim Horton's coffee in hand!  Times that I will always treasure! 
~Daverna LOVED a good dirty joke, and she loved to have laugh and have fun!  She taught me that being spiritual didn't mean that you couldn't enjoy what it means to be here in the physical and that true spirituality appreciates all aspects of being human.
As happens in the cycles of life, Daverna and I saw less of each other as the years passed.
I am so grateful to Carol for initiating my reconnection with Daverna in recent years, and for the opportunity I had to be in Daverna's compassionate, caring and fun-loving presence once again, even as her health was drastically declining due to MS.  I was able to voice to Daverna my love for her and my gratitude for all the ways that her friendship had enhanced my life and impacted my spiritual journey. 
Daverna's Light shone brightly while she was here on this Earth, and I know that it will continue to shine on through the influence she had on so many.

Shine on, dear friend...we will continue to experience your Light...

This is your card reading for Wednesday, May 11th/16 (my brother, who passed in 1997, would have been 53 years old today <3).  Your card sprung out of a beautiful new deck I purchased last weekend---'Gaia Oracle ~ Guidance, Affirmations, Transformation', authored by Toni Carmine Salerno.  Your card is 'Eternal Love' and Toni's message for the card is this:

My message for you today is this:
The word 'Gaia', which may also be spelt 'Gaea', is a Greek word meaning 'Goddess of the Earth.  Mother Earth is often referred to as Gaia.
Balance is, and has been, a key word for us of late.  Spending time in Nature is a wonderful way to help bring balance into our lives, and to 'ground' ourselves, energetically.  I KNOW that my 'walk in the coulee' on our farm is about A LOT more than physical exercise, although that is an important component for my overall health also.  It is, for me, a 'walking meditation' and an important de-stressor.  I have often 'sorted my way through things' while out on my walk, without consciously setting out to do so.  In truth, at times in my life, I have literally sobbed my way through my walk; allowing grief and hurt to move through me, and feeling the nurturing of Nature embracing me and my pain.  I actually began taking my walks in the coulee after the tragedy of my younger brother's sudden passing in 1997.  He and I had grown up together on this land, and as I walked through the coulee, memories of time spent with he and my Dad riding horses; and other childhood memories would rise up to meet me.  Interesting that this message is coming forward on his birthday...there are no coincidences, I believe...only synchronicities. I am always in gratitude that I live where I do---I LOVE where I live---and that it affords me the opportunity to spend time alone in Nature as a means to seek out balance in my life.  
Your message today is to know that something in your life that has been causing you anxiety is moving toward resolution.  Relax into that. Align yourself with the energy of RECEIVING.  Open yourself to being a receptacle for the good that is currently on it's way to you.  How do you do this?  Focus upon what you want, rather than upon what you don't want, and make room for it. Surrender into it.  Don't try to script it. So, energetically speaking, this is truly a SUPER New Moon, being the 3rd CONSECUTIVE New Moon in 2016 (and the final one of the year)---some profound energies abound right now!  It is a rare cosmic occurrence for the Moon to be New or Full in conjunction with it making it's closest approach to Earth; and that will happen 6 times in 2016 (Super New Moons in March, April and May; Super Full Moons in October, November and December)!
I have shared on many occasions that the 'general' energies of the Full Moons are that of releasement; while the 'general' energies of the New Moons are that of manifestation. Each New and Full Moon also hold their own unique energies or 'themes', dependent upon the prevailing cosmic energies that they occur in sync with.  This particular powerful New Moon is supporting you in taking action steps...to be courageous in moving toward a life of your own design...regardless of how your life looks at this moment.  I now see that there was a reason that I was guided to share the quote with you earlier this week: "All that is required is for you to take the first step."  THAT is what THIS New Moon is about!  So many of us hold ourselves back with the notion, 'Who am I to (fill in the blank with whatever dream you have had of expressing your talents and gifts)?  Well...as my husband pointed out to me when I was lamenting just that, some years ago about a heart-centered project I was feeling compelled to take on, but didn't feel 'worthy' of...why NOT you?

Sedona, Arizona was only an hours drive from our home in Anthem, Arizona, and so I had the privilege of visiting this incredible red rock area on many occasions.  I am so grateful for that!  There IS an indescribable, yet palpable energy to be experienced there!  
Take notice that your messages of late hold the theme of RECEIVING...and knowing and understanding that you are WORTHY of receiving.  I, myself, was struck by the sentence shared in the message for you last week that said: "Have you ever contemplated the thought that it takes graciousness and generosity of spirit to receive?"  That was a profound statement to me!  It is so often easy for us to give, and more challenging to receive.  I know this to be true for myself.  Yet, I have had pivotal teachings in the importance of balancing giving and receiving within my own life these recent months especially.  As Velva Dawn shares...it is KEY to 'have harmony within my body to maintain health'.

Don't you find it incredible that we are already in the month of May???  Time seems to be truly flying!  
And, as the angel Crystal shares with us, we HAVE been planting seeds that will serve our Soul moving forward...you are being reminded today to have FAITH that that which you have sown, is now germinating. Despite how things may CURRENTLY look, know that your faith in what you have sown, and the guided steps you take toward it, will bring it into being. (As I type this message, I can't help but think about how I am literally going to be planting some shrubs and seeds in our yard today, in preparation for our daughter's wedding celebration here this summer, and how I must hold faith that everything will bloom and grow as I now envision it!) 
Today is indeed a day to 'hold and trust in your vision', whatever that may be---perhaps you are holding multiple visions regarding different aspects of your life; such as relationship, health, career, etc.  This is a day to have faith in the Universe and faith in YOURSELF.  We are currently in a very expansive energy. You've no doubt heard the quote "That which you focus upon expands."  That is so very true.  Focus upon what you WANT to happen, and brush aside your doubts and fears. Don't DENY your doubts and fears---acknowledge them (you wouldn't be human if they didn't creep into your consciousness occasionally) and then place your attention upon what it is you desire to experience...

...OK...just like last week...as I was typing your message, Spirit interrupted me.  My cell phone rang and it was someone who had been referred to me as a teacher of accessing the Akashic Records.  This is a synchronicity that I just have to share with you, because it SO speaks to your message today!  Due to current life circumstances, which are 'happily hectic' with our family; I have had to set aside for a time, teaching my courses, and have even had little opportunity to do Akashic Records Consultations for clients---both of which have been such Soulful, joyful parts of my life.  So, now, with this phone call from someone about my 'Empowering Yourself Through the Akashic Records' course; the 'seed has been planted' for my teaching that course early this Fall, when our family situation is less hectic.  As stated in the message above---just prior to my receiving the phone call---"Today is indeed a day to hold and trust in your vision".  Despite the indisputable fact that, at this moment, I simply do not have the time or circumstances to teach; I have now been reminded to hold the vision that it will happen in the near future, and will set aside my concerns about if or when it was going to happen! In light of some recent experiences, I can actually understand why Spirit has placed my teaching on a 'hiatus', because of some very important personal learnings I have undergone and can now bring to my teaching.  So, rather than residing in frustration that I have not had opportunity to teach, I can see the bigger plan that the Universe held. 
Crazy how the Universe has presented a 'message within the message' at times these last couple of weeks!  Obviously I am meant to give you a concrete example from my own experience to illustrate what Spirit is sharing with you!
