My husband and I leave for Brazil on Wednesday, October 1st/14, to visit our 'kids' who are living there! We are so excited to spend time with them! Our daughter and her boyfriend are newly situated in Sao Paolo, and I can't wait to see their new home, and to experience this city that we have previously only 'flown through'. Our son and his wife now live in the beautiful coastal city of Vila Velha---we love spending time at the ocean and venturing around the gorgeous surrounding area! The photo posted here was taken at sunrise on a morning hike we took to a historical monastery on a vista above Vila Velha during our visit last February---breathtaking!

I love the synchronicity of the Universe---there are NO coincidences! Just as I was ready to begin typing your message, my phone rang and it was the organizer of an Expo that I will be a vendor at on November 29th, where I will be speaking about the Akashic Records! Awesome validation!
As I lay my hand upon the 'Voice' fractal art card, the overwhelming energy was one of self-empowerment! Speaking your truth means coming from your heart and doing so with the underlying energy of Love---Love for yourself. To stand in your own power NEVER implies disempowering another---true self-empowerment allows for others to be self-empowered, also---it is not a competitive energy. Use your voice with confidence and compassion, to ensure that you will be best heard.
Also, during the course that I was teaching last week, my students reminded me about the power of chanting and of listening to recordings of chanting---how doing either can absolutely shift vibration. Music, in all forms (singing bowls, tuning forks, drums, flutes, etc.), is powerful as a tool to shift vibration. Our voice can also be an incredible instrument in this regard! I am grateful for the reminder!
Another thought that comes to mind is that to be most effective in our communication, we must choose our words CONSCIOUSLY. This is what you are doing when you speak from your Heart and consider what you say before you say it. Words are energy and they have their own vibration. In matters that are important to you, be aware of that, and consciously choose your words!
The 'Voice' card has presented for you today, because you are being called to use your voice at this time, for the greater good of all. This may mean that you are given just the right words to comfort a friend or family member at a time when they needed those words. It may mean that you are meant to express yourself in a public forum. Of course, our logical mind serves a purpose as we navigate our way through our physical experience here on Earth---yet our mind should NOT be our primary source of decision-making if we are to live a Soul-filled life. Our emotions are key guideposts and are gifted to us by the Divine as just that! Rather than try to deny or squash emotions that arise within you, particularly as you are contemplating making some sort of life-altering decision; instead, allow yourself to BE with your emotions and ask what they are trying to tell you.
Panache Desai states that there are no 'good' or 'bad' emotions...that we have a myriad of emotions to direct and influence us when we choose to live consciously. FEAR, for example, can be a powerful motivator, as well as a detractor; depending upon the circumstances. ALL emotions are here to serve us and to guide us, if we allow them to.
The logical mind would deny the existence of GRACE or MIRACLES, for example, yet the SOUL knows without a doubt that both are possible! Utilize the logic of the mind, when it serves you---yet TRUST and BELIEVE in your intuitive urgings and the emotions that bring your intuition to light. Call upon your Angels to assist you and to facilitate your being open to the Divine spark within you. Your Higher Self KNOWS the potential and possibilities that reside within you, and that you are MEANT to express them---sometimes beyond all logic!
That is why the Divine also gifted us with FAITH!

My message for you today is this:
Crow holds powerful energy for me personally, and so I was thrilled when he appeared for you today! Crow was my deceased younger brother's Power Animal, and so I think of Crow as the 'protector'---he ALWAYS makes himself known by flying by whenever and wherever my husband and I are riding our motorcycle, for instance, as a sign of Divine protection. We give thanks for this sign from the Divine. Crow has consistently presented for me at times when I may feel nervous, or fearful, or just need reassurance that 'all is well'---by either 'flying by' in a conspicuous way that cannot be ignored, or voicing his presence with his unique caw.
Animals, birds, reptiles, and even insects are used by the Divine as messengers for us...but we must pay attention and give gratitude once the message has been delivered. Just as we have common traits as human beings, yet individual attributes, so it is with the animal world.
Whenever a particular creature of the world of Nature draws your attention, PAY ATTENTION. There is a good chance that the Spirit world is attempting to communicate with you. Ted Andrew's books, 'Animal Speak' and 'Animal-Wise', are EXCELLENT resources for the attributes and messages represented by various animals and aspects of Nature. You have heard me speak many times here in these daily card readings about the power of INTENTION. I see setting an INTENTION as 'planting a seed'...once you plant the seed, you take the necessary guided steps in nurturing that seed through the various growing conditions that may present themselves...yet, you do not try to control EXACTLY how and when that seed will germinate, nor orchestrate exactly what it will look like when it blooms. You release that to the creative genius of the Divine, because the Universe has a greater perception of the possibilities and potentials of that seed than you can imagine from your physical perspective. Nemetona (pronounced Nem-uh-TONE-uh) is a Celtic Goddess whose name means 'sacred grove'. She was the great protector of ancient Celtic ceremonial sites, often located in large groves of trees. She is firmly connected to Nature and she continues to preside over sacred sites around the World. Nemetona will assist you in creating your own sacred space and also with the creation of medicine wheels or labyrinths and the ceremonies aligned with them.
I completely resonate with Nemetona's message that 'Your sacred space is within you now.' The Divine spark resides within each and every one of us, and it is up to us to consciously access that connection. Therefore, it is not NECESSARY to create your own personal space of honouring, nor is it NECESSARY to visit designated sacred sites in order to make the Divine connection---but to do so can facilitate a deep level of energetic alliance with the Divine within and around us. We are here in this physical experience and we are energetic Beings, so we react to the energy around us. The sacred sites around the World are not at the locations that they are by accident---these are hallowed places where the energy is palpable. My message for you today is this:
Today, Astara has come forward to remind you about the Universal Law of Free Will---the Angelic Realm, Ascended Masters, and all of the Spiritual Advisors are not able to intervene in our physical lives without our permission. All that is required is that you make the request! It is not necessary that you know the SPECIFIC Angel or Ascended Master, or Spiritual Guide---although if you do, that is certainly a more efficient means of communication. Nor is it necessary to express your request in the form of some specific prayer---although there is nothing wrong with that, if it feels right to you. The point here is that Spirit and the Divine WANTS to be of assistance and to support us here in the physical world!
Remember, too, that these Light Beings are not constricted by the restraints that we are here on Earth---they are of a higher vibration, and are therefore able to bi-locate and to be with multiple Souls at one time---so you are not taking them away from another by calling them to you. Being extremely sensitive to energy all my life, I was long led to believe that this denoted 'weakness'. I thankfully came to understand that my sensitivity is actually a gift from the Divine, which allows me to be of service in the ways that I am meant to.
We are all in a time here on the Earth when, as energetic Beings, we are experiencing a major SHIFT. This is a good thing, but not always a comfortable thing! You will find that, as you shift vibrationally, what you draw to yourself will shift also. The Universal Law of Attraction dictates this. Lugh (pronounced 'loo') is a Celtic sun god whose name means 'the shining one'. He is associated with the harvest season (which is why his presenting himself for you today is SO appropriate!) His energy supports us in embracing the persistence that manifestation and enjoying bountiful harvests of abundance sometimes requires. After having 'sewn the crop' and 'tended to the crop', you may still encounter challenges when it comes time to 'harvest the crop'. Those of us who live in rural Alberta understand just what THAT means, as this recent snow fall is a serious challenge to the farmers in the throes of harvest season!
If you are not involved in the agricultural sector, understand that this is a metaphor for whatever project you have been striving to bring to fruition. Tonight is a Super Full Moon and the energy of this particular Moon, seems to be propelling us and urging us to take affirmative action regarding 'making our mark' in the World. While I personally tend to associate and experience Full Moon energy as a time of 'releasement' and letting go of what no longer serves us; for some reason, this moon seems to hold a strong 'manifestation' aspect, in alliance with the typical releasement energy. I am sure that those who have knowledge and understanding of cosmic forces would have some explanation about planetary alignments at this time, and how these influence the energy that we are experiencing with this Super Moon, yet all I can tell you is that this is how the energy FEELS to me! Utilize this energy to support you in the manifestation process! Gratitude is also a powerful manifesting energy, so utilize that, also! You are in the home stretch!

Of course, with my Son's wedding tomorrow, my head and heart are filled with thoughts of Soul Mate relationships and of two people coming together in partnership to share their lives. I have absolutely witnessed the magic of Divine Timing in regards to my husband and myself; in each of my children's loving partnerships; as well as in the long-term marriages of our friends and family...
