Sekhmet ~ Be Strong

This is your card reading for Friday, March 13th/15---that's right---Friday the 13th! Awesome!  In honour of Friday the 13th, I chose the 'Goddess Guidance' deck, authored by Doreen Virtue for your reading today.  Goddess energy abounds today!  Your card is 'Sekhmet ~ Be Strong', and Doreen's message for the card is this:
"You are stronger than you think you are, and your strength assures a happy outcome.
MESSAGE FROM SEKHMET:  See yourself as strong and victorious.  Don't complain about anything.  Don't blame anyone or any condition.  You're the embodiment of strength, not victimhood.  As you rise above the old tendencies and see yourself in the new light of beautiful feminine strength, your life will automatically shift in miraculous ways.  You'll attract new opportunities, forms of abundance, and relationships to help you manifest your highest potential.  Being strong means seeing yourself in the most favorable light you can imagine. Be real, allow yourself to feel genuine emotions, but most of all, be strong.
VARIOUS MEANINGS OF THIS CARD:  Don't underestimate yourself. * Don't yield to pressure or temptation. * Avoid complaining or indulging in negative thinking. * Engage in weight-training exercises to make your body stronger."

My message for you today is this:
First, let me say that I was inspired by this morning's radiant sunrise, to take the photo of your card for today in the glow of that splendour.  How wonderfully synchronistic (thank you, Universe) that the card that presented for you today is 'Sekhmet', who is the Egyptian Sun Goddess, and she revealed herself AFTER I had made the decision to photograph today's card with the sunrise!  I couldn't script these things if I tried!  Spirit is just that astounding, in the ways that it expresses and communicates with us!  Sekhmet's name (pronounced SEK-met) means 'strong and mighty', and this Sun Goddess has the fiery energy of the Sun.  She is a passionate protector and inspires us to stand firmly in our own self-empowerment.  
Another synchronistic event that validates today's message to be strong was expressed on Facebook with this message that my sister-in-law, Rita, shared early this morning from 
'IamLivingPositive.com':
"When you complain,
you make yourself a victim.
Leave the situation,
change the situation, 
or accept it.
All else is madness."
So, it would seem that we are being encouraged, from all factions, to stand in our strength and to embrace our inner goddess today!  Remember that true self-empowerment never implies disempowering another!  Understand that you are not a victim, but that you have the choice about how you will view---and therefore deal with---people and circumstances in your life. Self-love and worthiness (your inner goddess) inspire you to seek solutions and to engage in opportunities that manifest to better your life.  Victimhood means that you simply remain in resentment and powerlessness that does nothing to shift or change whatever you are uncomfortable or unhappy with.  We all experience feelings of victimhood at moments in our life experience (it's part of being human)---it's whether you choose to RESIDE in that victimhood or you make the conscious decision to shift out of that powerless place and be strong in your commitment to live your best life. Only YOU can make that choice for yourself, but Sekhmet has stepped forward for you today to remind you that, just as sure as the sun will rise, you can be assured that you are fully loved and supported by the Divine in embracing and standing in your strength.
