Soaring into Joy

This is your daily card reading for Monday, September 29th/14.  Your card blew out of the 'Gateway Oracle' card deck, authored by Denise Linn (and how appropriate was THAT, considering how the wind is raging here in south/central Alberta right now?).  Your card is the 'Soaring into Joy' card, and Denise's message for the card is this:

The Universe wants you to know:  Allow a childlike wonder and joy to fill your entire being.  Your happiness makes a difference to others, for as you experience true delight, this radiates out from you like ripples in a still pool and touches the souls of many.  Take time for yourself.  Find ways to experience joy in every moment.  Even when doing the most mundane, boring, or gritty tasks, look for ways to find genuine happiness.  If you have trouble finding pleasure in certain situations, start small, and eventually you will soar.  To feel joyful is a gift.  It rejuvenates you and heals the world.
Questions to ask yourself:  What gives me the greatest pleasure?  What might be blocking my joy?  What's the key to experiencing more bliss in my life?

My message for you today is this:
Sometimes, happiness and joy are a CHOICE.  Radical thought, eh?  Yet, sometimes, if you shift the way that you look at or approach something, you can shift the energy or vibration around it.  Yes...you ARE that powerful!  This is not to imply that you deny or squash any emotions that come to you; but rather that you allow them to flow through you and then CHOOSE to embrace a different vibration or emotion (as Panache Desai states, "Emotions are energy in motion').   You have no doubt heard the phrase, "What you focus upon expands."  So...today, choose to focus upon JOY...  See what happens...  I guarantee that you will not only impact how YOU move through your day, but you will also impact those whom you come in contact with.  Just for today...soar into joy!
