Pele ~ Divine Passion

Message from Pele:  
If you listen to the sound of your heart and breath, you'll recognize the ancient rhythms of your own internal drumming.  This forever connects you to the Mother of all creation, and to the sound of the planet Earth.  These rhythms can't be faked or forged; they're natural and eternal.  What part of you are you trying to ignore?  What part of you has been overly concerned with pleasing others, to the detriment of hearing the sounds of your own rhythm? Dear child, reach out and extend your arms to embrace your dreams.  They're just as much a part of nature as are the trees, animals and sunsets.  Don't your own dreams deserve the same respect that you accord everyone and everything that you love?  Listen to them, my child.  Listen to your dreams.  They'll activate the powerful eruption of passion in your life. Don't be afraid of your own passion, for it will propel you naturally and will excite and invigorate you.  When you dance to the rhythms of your life, you're truly alive in all ways!

My message for you today is this:
Pele (pronounced PAY-lay) is the Hawaiian Goddess of volcanos.  Just as many cultures use fire in ceremony to release the 'old' and make way for the 'new'; so does Pele implement the energy of fire to assist us in igniting our passions.  Pele's energy is cathartic-- as the heat of the flame transforms rock from solid to molten form within a volcano; Pele inspires us to seek the fire within so that our own lives will 'flow' for our greater good.
This card and Pele's message fall in perfectly with the messages that have come forward for you this week---you are being urged to be honest with yourself and to take the next steps in living your life in an authentic way.  This is not to discount your past and all the experiences that you integrated and experienced there!  Your past is what brought you here---ALL OF IT! No self-judgment or recrimination!  Having said that, NOW is the time to incorporate the lessons learned and to move forward in your life by following your passion, rather than remaining 'safely' in the 'status quo'.  How do you know when you are following your heart's desire?  It is when you feel that sense of excitement and underlying 'knowing' that this is right for you, even as you may also feel some trepidation and nervousness about what you may need to do to get there.  Living a passion directed life does not mean that you NEVER experience anxiety or even fear...it means that you move forward REGARDLESS of that fear, knowing that the fear may actually serve you as a guidepost as to how best to proceed.
It also means that the over-riding emotion is excitement and anticipation and PASSION! When people follow their passion, they make immeasurable contributions to humanity---it is NOT a selfish act to live in your passion---when you are in your passion, you serve yourself and others!  So, go for IT---whatever IT is for you!  Know that there is no one else on Earth who can express themselves out into the world in the same way you can...there is a Divine spark of passion within you just waiting to be expressed as only YOU can!
