Persistence ~ Lugh

This is your daily card reading for Tuesday, September 9th/14.  My apologies for the late posting today, but our son and new daughter-in-law were flying out on their honeymoon this morning, and our other kids were flying back to Brazil this morning, also!  A chaotic and emotional time!
And...YES....it is STILL SNOWING! Wow! So the card that presented for you today made perfect sense, as usual!  Spirit knows!  Your card jumped out of the 'Ascended Masters' deck, authored by Doreen Virtue.  Your card is the 'Persistence ~ Lugh' card, and Doreen's message for the card is this:
"Through persistent action and positive thinking, your dreams are manifesting into form.  This is a time for you to stay persistent.  Give any discouragement to Lugh and the angels, who will buoy your faith and give you signs of your progress.  You're almost there, so keep going.  It may help to break large projects into smaller steps so that you'll feel the thrill of accomplishment with each step that you take.  Persistence pays off.  Stick with it."

My message for you today is this:
Lugh (pronounced 'loo')  is a Celtic sun god whose name means 'the shining one'.  He is associated with the harvest season (which is why his presenting himself for you today is SO appropriate!)  His energy supports us in embracing the persistence that manifestation and enjoying bountiful harvests of abundance sometimes requires.  After having 'sewn the crop' and 'tended to the crop', you may still encounter challenges when it comes time to 'harvest the crop'.  Those of us who live in rural Alberta understand just what THAT means, as this recent snow fall is a serious challenge to the farmers in the throes of harvest season!  
If you are not involved in the agricultural sector, understand that this is a metaphor for whatever project you have been striving to bring to fruition.  As was brought forward in yesterday's reading, 'you are in the home stretch'!  Remain persistent in reaching for your goals and dreams, and do not allow challenges that may present themselves to you at this time to deter you from the KNOWING and understanding that you are almost there!  Your determination and persistence ARE paying off...stick with it!  Your positivity and trust ARE leading you toward your desired outcome.  Take this time to gather your resources and to take guided action in reaching for your goals.  Call upon Lugh, who truly understands and supports your dreams and desires, to infuse you with the fortitude to keep moving forward.
It need not feel 'burdensome'...simply 'put one foot in front of the other'...all is well!  Trust and believe in that!
