Astara

This is your daily card reading for Thursday, September 11th/14.  Your card today flew out of the 'Messages From Your Angels' deck, authored by Doreen Virtue.  Your card is the 'Astara' card, and Doreen's message for the card is this:
"You deserve the best!  Reach for the stars with your dreams and desires, and don't compromise...
In the past, you have settled for less than you wanted.  But no more, I am here to raise your standards.  I am also here to show you that you need not suffer in any way.  It isn't selfish to desire a better life.  The more that you receive, the more you are able to give to others. When you allow us to give to you, you're also supplied with all of the necessary tools for your life purpose.  You also inspire others when you show that the spiritual path gives you all of the support you could ever need.
God and the angels want you to enjoy your life.  Happiness is a holy part of your Divine mission.  Whatever we can do to bring joy and peace into your life, please ask.  We have noticed a reluctance on your part to ask for help.  Perhaps you have felt that you didn't deserve good, or that you would be taking away from someone else if you received our help.  Yet God only knows abundance, and humans are the only ones who believe in scarcity.  This card is a reminder that God and the angels can only intervene if you request our help."

My message for you today is this:
Today, Astara has come forward to remind you about the Universal Law of Free Will---the Angelic Realm, Ascended Masters, and all of the Spiritual Advisors are not able to intervene in our physical lives without our permission.  All that is required is that you make the request!  It is not necessary that you know the SPECIFIC Angel or Ascended Master, or Spiritual Guide---although if you do, that is certainly a more efficient means of communication.  Nor is it necessary to express your request in the form of some specific prayer---although there is nothing wrong with that, if it feels right to you.  The point here is that Spirit and the Divine WANTS to be of assistance and to support us here in the physical world!  
Remember, too, that these Light Beings are not constricted by the restraints that we are here on Earth---they are of a higher vibration, and are therefore able to bi-locate and to be with multiple Souls at one time---so you are not taking them away from another by calling them to you.  Astara is here today to remind you that you are EVERY bit as deserving of support and assistance as anyone.  You are WORTHY simply because you exist as a spark of the Divine!  KNOW this to be true, and GO FOR IT!  Put aside the 'why me?' and step firmly into the 'why not me?'  When you shine your best self out into the World, you Light the way for others!
