Universal Law of Free Will

This is your card reading for Wednesday, March 15th/17.  Your card today dropped out of the 'Universal Laws of Conscious Creation' fractal art deck, authored by Lara Solara, Marlene Chapman and Dana Da Ponte.  Your card is 'Universal Law of Free Will' and the author's message for the card is this:
"The Law of Free Will states that the conscious mind is endowed with the power to choose. You are a conscious being and thus wield the power of choice. Although you may not always be aware of it, you make choices in every moment of your waking life. Choice is your natural freedom.  You choose what you think and how you feel. You decide for yourself what a given experience means to you. You choose how to act and react.  You choose your own perspective, your attitudes, and your outlook.  You choose what you want and what to focus on.  The power of choice is often far greater in the invisible world of thought and feeling than it is in the physical world of action.  What you choose to think and feel is set in motion by the Universe and manifests as the conditions of your life. The choices you make repetitively make an impression on your subconscious mind, and eventually these become automatic responses. Through this card, the Universe is reminding you to choose your thoughts, feelings and actions consciously. Choose actively, and do not be constrained by habit or the automatic responses shaped by your past choices."

My message for you today is this:
I have spoken frequently here about choosing to ACT rather than to REACT, and also about how I see living your life CONSCIOUSLY as choosing what you will place your focus upon and the perspective that you will choose. This is what the Law of Free Will speaks to...living your life consciously.  It is about understanding that embracing and utilizing the Universal Law of FREE WILL means taking responsibility for your life!  Truly integrating this Law requires a level of spiritual maturation and of stepping out of the 'victimhood' or 'martyrdom' role and into a place of self-empowerment.  Will even those who strive to live their life from a conscious perspective ALWAYS be in a place where they see the positives and the possibilities within EVERY life circumstance?  No...of course not!  We are here in the human form to experience the duality and the shadings of experience that are offered here to assist us in our Soul growth.  Yet, those whom we look up to and admire because of the 'enlightened' way in which they experience life do not RESIDE in those times when they may feel disappointed, frustrated, or even defeated.  They CHOOSE to use such times and feelings as guideposts and to then shift their perspective and to adjust their actions and focus accordingly.  
Take, for example, the life of Nelson Mandela and the profound impact his life has had on humanity.  He is the epitome of CHOOSING your perspective, despite the extenuating circumstances of your life. The following quotes are among the numerous insights that he has shared in regards to his outlook (and his absolute understanding of and integration of the Universal Law of Free Will in how he lived his life): 
~"Part of being optimistic is keeping one's head pointed toward the sun, one's feet moving forward. There were many dark moments when my faith in humanity was sorely tested, but I would not and could not give myself up to despair."~
