Gold

This is your card reading for Thursday, March 16th/17.  Your card today flipped out of the 'Crystal Oracle' deck, authored by Toni Carmine Salerno.  Your card is 'Gold' and Toni's message for the card is this:
"~ Value - Confidence - Self-worth - Money - Wealth~
The Gold card is a symbolic reflection of your true inner worth.  At the core of your being there exists a pure golden essence with an infinite capacity to create!
You are being urged to look within, to go beyond the superficial personality and connect through contemplation and meditation with your true nature.  There is a yearning within you to manifest all your heart desires.  At the top of the list you will discover a yearning for financial wealth and freedom, and for the self-confidence that money can bring.  Do not delude yourself that somehow money is bad or that it does not align with your spiritual ideals.  Money is just as much a part of God's creation as we are.  In actuality, it is neither good nor bad, rather, it is something to be valued and put to good use.
Sit quietly for a few minutes each day and lovingly imagine yourself having and achieving all your heart desires.  Then, set a goal---one that you feel is achievable in the short term. Focus in it each day until it manifests. Then set a new goal, and so on.  Goals are reached one step at a time; an ongoing journey to take.  Set clear goals, yet remember to always keep focused on the present for it is in the present that all unfolds.
You deserve to be and have all your heart desires."

My message for you today is this:
The message for you today is primarily in regards to self-worth...you are WORTHY!  
As Lightworkers, many have carried over into this lifetime the 'vow of poverty' that was made in past lifetimes.  That is to say, that we have this long held belief that in order to be truly enlightened and spiritual, you must forego the comforts of life as well as financial abundance. Some still hold the erroneous belief that to experience a strong connection with the Divine, you must lead a 'monk-like' existence, forgoing the pleasures and comforts available here in our physical experience.  Add to that the misconceived belief that when you are sharing your gifts as 'an act of service', it is somehow 'wrong' to receive payment for this!  These shadow beliefs are archaic, and thankfully we are maturing spiritually to the understanding that the Divine doesn't wish us to 'suffer' in order to 'prove' our desire for a sacred connection, as has been preached to us in the past. 
Yet, there are remnants of those old shadow beliefs still taking up space in our psyches. 
Make the conscious choice to shift that for yourself---to the understanding that you are deserving and worthy of an abundant life on all levels!  To be truly valued, and to experience the abundance you desire (yes!!! It is okay to say that you desire abundance!!) you must first believe this to be true for yourself.  This is a habit that you need to form for yourself. That is why Toni suggests the exercise of imagining for yourself in his message for you today.  I would add to that the simple affirmation:  "I am worthy."  Allow that knowing to sink into your very being, because you ARE!
