Oak ~ Be strong but gentle

This is your card reading for Wednesday, March 29th/17.  Your card today glided out of the 'Nature-Speak Oracle' deck, authored by Ted Andrews.  Your card is from the 'Tree Oracles' suit of this deck (I kept the deck in tact as I shuffled to reveal your card today...it 'just so happened' that your card is from the Tree Oracles). As Ted explains in his guidebook for this deck:  ". . .Trees possess great magical and spiritual attributes. Each has its own unique spirit . . .Trees are a source of energy, healing and creativity. Some trees are guardians and some are keepers of knowledge and wisdom. "The Oak has tremendous myth and lore surrounding it, and its energy always awakens great strength and endurance. Trust in your strength and assert it---gently. People and events will respond.
Opportunity to use your strengths to help others will increase over the next few weeks. Act on them.  It will bring rewards for you down the road and open up new contacts and avenues for new creative endeavors.
The acorn is a symbol of fertility and fruition. From it comes the mighty Oak.  From the acorns of your past, mighty Oaks are beginning to mature. Be patient and strong and things will unfold for you. Strength manifests sometimes in persistence and endurance. Do not give up. Remain strong.  Even though your acorns are not growing as fast as you would like, they will eventually come to fruition.
Be gentle with yourself and others around you. . . True strength is always gentle, so be gentle with yourself."

My message for you today is this:
I KNOW that you have been feeling the call of your potential!  These are absolutely the energies that we have been in!  Despite how things may 'seem' regarding your current life circumstances, trust in the acorns that you have sown.  We remain in the powerful manifestation energy of yesterday's New Moon, and so it is important to focus upon what you wish to bring forth. Be specific!  Understand that you have the strength and fortitude to bring it into being...not FORCE it into being, but to lovingly gestate it into being. Take the necessary steps as they present to you.  Tenacity may be required...the willingness to keep moving in the direction you need to, even though the winds may blow in ways you hadn't foreseen.  The limbs of an Oak tree are strong but supple.  This is what allows them to withstand--and even to thrive--through all sorts of conditions. 
I so appreciate Ted's message: "True strength is always gentle..." as this is a core belief of mine!   This quote by Ralph W. Sockman: "Nothing is so strong as gentleness and nothing is so gentle as real strength",  personifies the energy that the Oak tree is offering you today. 
Persistence and patience lead toward your potential!  Call upon the image of the Oak tree to assist you in moving through these winds of change...they ARE blowing in your favor!
