Patience

This is your card reading for Tuesday, December 27th/16.  Your card today wafted out of the 'Messages From Your Angels' deck, authored by Doreen Virtue.  Your card is 'Patience', and Doreen's message for the card is this:
"Now is the time to learn, study, and gather information.  Enjoy being a student, because in the future, you will synthesize your knowledge into action.
ADDITIONAL MESSAGE:  Although you may be aching to begin a new project, now is not the time.  You are in the vital phase of gathering right now.  This means that you're acquiring new information through studying, reading, meditating, channeling, taking classes, interviewing experts, and other means.  In all of life, there is a time for gathering and a time for planting.
It is too soon for you to decide how you will use the new information that you're absorbing. You may have some ideas, though, so it might be wise to write them down for future use. Soon enough, you will be called into action to apply your knowledge in useful ways. When that happens, you will be very busy and work very hard.  So enjoy the present moments of ambiguity and rest.  Allow yourself to be an empty vessel into which Heaven pours the contents of its library of wisdom.  Your unique talents will blend with this wisdom, and synthesize it into a new and important way to bring peace to this planet."

My message for you today is this:
Now that many of us are enjoying some 'quiet time' following the very socially active period over Christmas, we are entering a time of reflection.  We are also sensing the energetic movement from a '9 completion year' (2016), into the '1 new beginnings' year (2017).  Allow yourself to ruminate about what has been 'coming to mind' in regards to your dreams and desires for yourself in 2017.  You may feel as though you have a million thoughts running through your head.  Rather than try to 'contain' or organize these thoughts, simply allow them to flow at this time and just take notice.  No action is required of you today, except to understand that your Soul is truly 'speaking' to you.  Do your best to 'listen with your heart'.
When you have the viewpoint of hindsight to look back upon the immense Soul growth that you experienced in 2016; there will be deep satisfaction and pride.  Yes...your Soul has been, and continues to, push you toward authentic expression.  Just for today, give yourself permission to be a receptacle to the incoming guidance and know that you will know exactly what action needs to be taken to realize your plans and dreams in the near future.
