Power

This is your card reading for Thursday, August 20th/15.  Your card soared out of the 'Return of Spirit' fractal art deck, authored by Cheryl Lee Harnish.  Your card is 'Power', and Cheryl Lee's message for the card is this:
"The power card rules the third chakra, the solar plexus chakra.  This is where we experience our own sense of personal power.  If you have drawn this card today, it is because Spirit is asking that you focus on your own sense of personal power---and claim it. Have you been hiding from your power or afraid to own it? Have you been feeling powerless or fearing you aren't strong enough?  It's time to focus on your solar plexus, and start to build your sense of personal power.  
Sometimes there can be a drain from our solar plexus, because we are unintentionally corded to another person---most often in close relationships.  This energetic cord runs directly from our third chakra and attaches to the other person.  We unknowingly let others siphon off our power.  This can also happen if we fear losing the love of that person or if we feel attacked in some way.  It is time for you to look closely at why this has happened to you and to ask your guides and angels to assist you with cutting that cord.
This card also comes if we are in fear of claiming our power; of standing tall and showing the world exactly who we are.  Most often, we have had experiences in our early years where we personally witnessed the misuse of power or had someone attempt to diminish our own.
That was the past though, and you know how power is not to be used.  You also know that not claiming your own power does not serve you.  It's time for you to claim YOU---to claim your life, and claim the fact that you are a powerful, incredible soul."

My message for you today is this:
I have dubbed 2015 as the year of 'conscious action'.  If you are to live your life consciously, it is key that you own your personal power.  To live your life consciously means to live soulfully; which means to follow direction from within.  Be your own authority.  Honour what your heart (Soul) is telling you about how to live your life.  Sounds simple, doesn't it?  If only that were true, each of us would have been living our lives in just that way ever since we incarnated on Earth for this lifetime!  I lovingly appreciate how Panache Desai declares that we are not here on Earth to seek Ascension, but rather to strive to EMBODY our Divinity in this physical experience that we have chosen to explore. Simply put:  To experience Heaven on Earth, even amidst all the chaos, diversity, and duality that is present in this domain.  To achieve a level of embracing the Divine within ourselves and to thereby express that out into the world around us is a SUPREME form of Soul Ascension.  Essentially, we are not striving to get 'somewhere' from here; but rather, to bring that 'somewhere' here! We are embodied by choice---and the only way to express the Divinity that is within you is to embrace your personal power.  We have created this misconception that 'enlightened' people are always giving and are self-less and have no need other than to serve others. Well, that paradigm might work on the 'other side', but in the dense reality of planet Earth-- and in these physical bodies that house us--it is paramount that we honour ourselves if we are to be an authentic expression of the Divine!  True self-empowerment NEVER undermines the self-empowerment of another.  True self-empowerment is rooted in SELF-LOVE, and thereby holds the energy of love.  As Oscar Wilde has been quoted as saying:
"Be yourself; everyone else is already taken."  Choose to be yourself!
