It Is Safe For You to Love

This is your card reading for Friday, February 13th/15 (yes...Friday the 13th)!  As tomorrow will be Valentine's Day, I selected 'The Romance Angels' deck, authored by Doreen Virtue for your reading today.  Your card is 'It Is Safe For You to Love', and Doreen's message for the card is this:
"Open your heart to give and receive the highest energy of all...
This card indicates that you're protecting your heart from hurt because of painful relationship experiences.  However, the angels can only bring as much romance as you'll allow inside.  If you have a shield around your heart, how is love to get in?  A closed heart repels the sensitive partner you're trying to attract.
Following your inner guidance will protect you and simultaneously allow you to feel loved and loving.  Trust your intuitive senses with respect to other people's trustworthiness, and open your heart to those who are kind and gentle.  Ask the angels to bring caring individuals (including a romantic partner) into your life, and they'll do so...provided that you listen and follow their guidance."

My message for you today is this:
The photo of your card today was taken with my Rose Quartz crystal singing bowl whose tone is that of the heart/high heart chakra. This amazing bowl resides in my sacred space and I play it prior to any consultations or teachings that I do, to bring in the energy of unconditional LOVE...the highest vibration of all!
Today's card does not only speak to romantic LOVE, but more importantly, to LOVE of SELF...and to your relationship with the Divine, which is pure unconditional LOVE.  We can get caught up in the thinking (which we have often been 'conditioned into') that we need to be WORTHY of Divine love. We believe that we must BE or DO our way to being deserving of being loved...NOT TRUE!  Just as a parent's love of their child is unconditional, so is the Divine's love of YOU.  Just by BEING, you are WORTHY!  Yet, we often unconsciously deny or block the receiving of this love.  Spirit is asking you to be open to it!  While it may seem to be an act of vulnerability to open your heart to the LOVE that the Divine holds for you, the opposite is true.  When you embrace the LOVE that has always been there for you, your life can change in ways you cannot imagine!  
Regardless of your current life circumstances, or the status of various relationships in your life experience at this time, take a few moments to sit quietly with yourself and focus upon your heart chakra.  Visualize your heart opening to receive an inflow of Divine LOVE, and feel the warmth and expansion.  Allow yourself to encapsulate this LOVE 'wholeheartedly' in the knowing that it is your God-given right to receive this.  It is from this place of LOVE and self-love that you will attract to you the people and relationships that will best serve you and nurture you.  It is from this place that you will authentically share the love that is within you. Whenever you drop into self-doubt about your worthiness, revisit this exercise (if only for a few moments), and allow yourself to embody the Love that awaits you, so that you can then express this LOVE out into the World.
