Sweetness

May your Good Friday be a wonderful day for you and yours!
In honour of Good Friday, your card today was drawn from the 'Saints & Angels' deck, authored by Doreen Virtue.  Each card within this deck is aligned with a particular Saint or Angel, although the deck is completely non-denominational.  Your card today is aligned with the energy of your Guardian Angel, and your card is 'Sweetness'.  Doreen's message for the card is this:
"Your Guardian Angel is asking you to notice and enjoy the nectar of life. 'You are sweet,' your Guardian Angel says of you, 'and I will help you feel that happiness and joy.'  If you've felt toughened by life's experiences, your angel can help you lower your defences...and still be safe, protected, and respected.  
This is also a message for you to treat yourself with tender sweetness.  Give yourself rewards and be kind to yourself...
Your Guardian Angel will also help you bring sweetness into your relationships in ways such as speaking with love, acting out of kindness, being generous, giving sincere compliments, and being thoughtful.  As you show this extra consideration for others, it's sure to be returned to you plentifully.  God and the angels are helping you fall back in love with life and enjoy its rich sweetness."

My message for you today is this:
When you recognize that you are worthy and you open yourself to the love that is that Divine spark within you, you are best able to experience the sweetness of life and to express your love of life out into the world.  At this time of powerful cosmic energies and as we move into the Easter weekend, ensure that you focus your time and attention to honouring and loving yourself and thereby honouring and loving those around you.  An analogy that I have shared with you before, is that you cannot offer another a drink from your cup, if your cup is empty. Treat yourself with kindness in order to be able to offer that kindness to others. 
Your Guardian Angel is encouraging you to look for opportunities to express your love out into the world...even the 'small' things that you do or say can have an incredible impact in the life of another.  It will be reciprocal!  Bring to mind a time when you performed a 'random act of kindness' and how awesome YOU felt afterwards!  You've no doubt heard the saying, 'It is better to give than to receive.'  It can be very uplifting to your Soul to give to another.  When you give without any expectation of 'getting something out of it'---that is, from a heart-centered place of service---this is the greatest expression of Love.  It is from this place that the Universe recognizes your expression of pure Love and thus returns it to you in kind.
The ripple effects of such actions bring sweetness to the world!

P.S. (Yes...again!)  It just came to me that the 'Sweetness' card came forward as we head into Easter weekend, which we have come to associate with the Easter Bunny and lots and lots of CHOCOLATE!  Haha!  Oh, Universe!  You DO 'get' us!!!  ;-)
